Couldn't rent me some basic tools that look like they're from the 80s and extremely worn out for carpet installation. Overpriced rental prices, guy at the desk couldn't find the tools that were right next to him. Wasted my time driving all the way down there for them to tell me My Valid Colorado state ID wasn't good enough to rent their washed up tools. What a joke of a place. read more

Rented an enclosed trailer for half a day. Exactly what I needed. The trailer was well maintained and towed easily. Tom and Darrell were super helpful - hooked up the trailer to my vehicle, did the safely checks, made sure the lights were all working. All very efficient and quick. Awesome folx work here! My family was in to work at the Renaissance Festival this year and we stopped here to fill our motor home's propane tank every time we came to Denver (most weeks). The guys here are quick and efficient as well as polite and professional. Bonus: no backing in if your tanks are on the "wrong" side like you get at other bulk propane refill sites, and you can pull all the way around the building, making getting in and out very safe. If you're around and need propane stop in and say hi to these guys... I know we will when we come back to Colorado next year. read more

I have been renting from Arapahoe for manny years and have always had a great experience. I am pretty knowledgeable with equipment but any questions I might have they always help to answer them. I rented a concrete saw and the belt broke (newer belt I assume to be a manufacturer defect), they went above and beyond replacing the small push saw with a big self propelled unit. I have accounts at bigger rental places for bigger machines Arapahoe doesn't carry but I always call Arapahoe Rental for average to small machines. Small businesses will always get my business! read more

I have been a contractor in the Denver/Metro area for five years and have had lots of experience renting equipment. I have used almost every rental company in the area and finally found Arapaho Rental last year. I started working with Darrell over at the Littleton location on County Line Rd. Darrell is one of the most down to earth and knowledgeable people I have worked with in the rental industry. Every-time I call he is very kind and patient and cares about solving or helping me with the issue at hand. You would think you had just walked in to a hipster bar in the Highlands... You are nowhere as important as these guys are used to dealing with, so Don't ask any questions... Just shut your mouth and give them your money! If you need equipment I don't recommend this place not only because of the atrocious customer service, but also if you look inside their maintenance shop you would fear for your life when starting up that auger or hooking up the trailer! I wouldn't think you could give an equipment rental place a bad rating when only visiting for a propane fill, but it was evident someone had Sh&$ in these guys sandwiches... Repeatedly! read more

Hmmm, I realize it is "just a rental shop" but I don't think that it justifies ZERO customer service and terrible planning as far as the loading and unloading of equipment. After failing to start the BBQ on the count of no gas we thought to find a place to refill our tank. Yelping arapahoe rentals and seeing it was just around the corner we thought we would call and check prices and what not, bob so rudely answered the phone with absolutely no personality or emotion. I am not looking for a emotional connections when calling for question but I don't think it so much to ask for a little personality; bob was miserable and praying for the end of the night clearly. None the less we were hungry and it was close. After arriving and meeting bob face to face his phone attitude so perfectly matched his glowing face of misery. :-/ a few of the younger fellas came in just as rude and abrupt as bob making me and my boyfriend feel so out of place and almost like a bother. As we wrapped up our miserable experience we loaded the car, only to realize that we were in for a little of a wait. Bob and the fellas figured no one would mind waiting 20 MINUTES while they attached a trailer to a truck ! At this point we have been chased off from bad service and then forced to watch 6 men attach a trailer to a hitch.... *ahhhhhh* Long story short don't waste you time and if you need to refill your gas tank for grilling or whatever you may need call the Uhaul shop next door. You wouldn't wanna bother bob or get stuck watching too many employees do a simple task. read more

Wow! This store has just about every tool I think you could ever need. Plus trailers and big machinery. Then, over in the corner, I believe I saw chairs and other catering rental stuff. If you're in need of a certain something and want to rent instead of buy, check this place out. I bet they'd have what you need. And, everyone I interacted with was super nice - even offering to give guidance on how to use said tools - and prices seemed reasonable. read more

I had a good experience with Arapahoe Rental. My sister and I needed a carpet fan to dry some spill from a leaking water heater. I called to reserve the fan and they were very helpful. When we got there, the gentleman showed us how to set up the fan, and the details, then loaded it into the car for us. When we brought it back, they came and unloaded it and after the paperwork, we were on our way. No one treated two older ladies like idiots, which does happen sometimes, and I appreciated that. read more

Website showed riding mower for $125 available but when I called a sales associate named Bob said I needed a tractor and some sort of attachment. To mow a 2 acre residential lawn? Overkill so I asked again about the $125 riding mower. Bob said he had a $150 one, plus trailer, plus insurance for a total of $205. I asked again about the $125 mower his website showed available but he said I had to drive 70 miles to another store to get it. Bait & Switch, frustrating and no thank you! read more

Their sewer auger is a beast. Thats what it took to bust through my roots. 3/4" line with inner core. My roots put it to the test. Finally broke through when three other machines had failed mightily. They incl. 1/2 hour of travel time. Reasonable rates on this machine. read more

I'm really mad at myself, but extend it to the people at Arapahoe. Buyer beware. I rented a small walk behind earth mover and dump trailer. Didn't compare prices between rental companies or look closely at the contract. When I returned the equipment, my $585 rental included a DMG waiver and ENV fees that added $81.90 to the price. I was not told about that in advance, or asked if I wanted the insurance or if I would provide it. Now to their credit, the guys in back were helpful getting me oriented and trained on the use of the "Dingo", but not the trailer. I learned about that at the dump! Luckily I was able to find someone there to help me with getting the choke and fuel set up on the trailer motor. In addition, the contract indicated I would be charged extra if a tire on the trailer was returned with a hole - yet I'm paying damage insurance too? Recommend that you do your homework in advance. read more

I was very hesitant to rent from the store because I have seen two very negative reviews, however this is the only rental place within 8 miles of my house so I took a shot. I was greeted upon entering and the employee knew exactly what I was looking for when I asked. Furthermore, The equipment that I rented was loaded and ready to go in my truck before I even finished the paperwork and payment. When I returned, an employee was promptly radioed and unloaded the equipment just as fast. It seems they definitely worked on their customer service since the negative reviews were written. read more
