We had our trailer serviced January of this year to get all the brakes done from the wiring all the way to the actual brakes themselves. Less than two months later we got into a roll over accident due to the trailer brakes failing. The job was overpriced to begin with, but I agreed to the price anyway due to convenience and the price kept going up every phone call I got while my trailer was with them. They already had the trailer so it cost my business less to have it done while there than to pick it up and take it elsewhere. During the accident my wife was 8.5 months pregnant and was forced into early pre-eclampsia labor due to the increased blood pressure from the accident. We did have another trailer repair company come out to diagnose the trailer which revealed that three out of four brakes when fully engaged were able to rotate just by a light kick to the tires. When I notified them that our lawyers and auto insurance would be in touch and I believe Mitch is the name of the gentleman that called me back, he was only worried about the name of the trailer repair company that was coming out to do the diagnostics and had no questions about our well being. My wife and I are both still going through multiple types of medical care facilities and haven't been contacted with any regard to our well being by anyone other than Parker trailers liability insurance company. My experience with Parker Trailer and RV was great. I took my horse trailer in for regular maintenance and felt that they were thorough and that the price was fair. I asked about some creative ideas for a solution to excessive wear in the horse compartment and they came up with a great one--I really appreciated that they put effort into making the fix look cosmetic. I felt respected and heard. Adding the ABS plastic over the rubber matting has eliminated wear and has helped my horse to be more stable when hauling. I am one not to write negative reviews because we all have a bad day. But today was unbelievable. We were quoted $10,900 for a trailer when we got ready to make the deal we were informed that the cost was really $13600 but then the manager said sorry we can't lose $4000. I said we were just told the exact same trailer but in a different color was sold this morning for $10,900 and he said well I'm going to cancel that contract. No empathy no deal offered us 4% off of the $13600. Totally an insult. Also wanted to charge us $2200 to put kick mats inside the horse trailer totally ridiculous not only had we checked the price twice before we came to see the trailer but we also talk to the sales person. read more

I gotta give a shoutout to these guys. They do the very best job maintaining my horse trailer. They do my yearly service. They installed a camera system so I can see my horses. I recently bought a new tire from them when I had a blowout. They always help me in a pinch. Today the door handle to my tack room broke and I couldn't get in. My saddle and all my equipment were inaccessible. Drove over here and they fixed it in no time. They are kind, reasonable and professional. They do flatbeds, utility trailers and campers, too. CUSTOMER BEWARE - DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAMPER/TRAILER TO PARKER TRAILER!! If I could give them a 0 star review I would! We took our camper in to replace a cracked skylight. When we picked it up, the back panel had separated at the joint right below where the skylight was being worked on. Mike admitted that the photos taken at drop off showed that the camper did not have that damage at drop off. Yet Parker Trailer refused to fix the damage they caused. So much to the point that Dwayne, the service manager, said "I can't help you" and hung up on me! terrible customer service First, I wrote a check and the salesman, Mike, takes it and then leaves it right out on counter so the other two customers that sat down after me had full access to my bank information. Second, we agreed on the price and then the paperwork said $200 more than agreed upon price. Third, they failed to mention the dealership fee until everything said and done. I've been researching the horse trailer industry and Parker Trailers is the closest HT dealer to me. I honestly had no idea what to expect going into the dealership, but let me tell you....Parker Trailers is truly THE BEST! Joanna was so helpful and very honest about horse trailer nuances (helped me understand 'slant' and why most people prefer it :)). OK, time for an update. I am willing to give these guys more stars because the office manager, Joanna, and the owner, Tom, REALLY went to bat for me in this scenario. Nothing can be done to fix what happened. What's done is done. But both of these individuals have worked hard with me to make the present + future right. Joanna worked with me on a payment plan for the balance owed, and promptly called my local DMV to have a new temp tag issued. She has done everything she said she would, has been very communicative and helpful, and above all flexible with the payment plan. That kind of thing helps when you are a working-class grassroots racecar driver without a ton of money in the bank. Tom called me after finding out, through my reviews, about my negative experience. I have never heard a business owner so surprised and mortified that this was going on. Parker Trailers has two locations, one in Parker and one in Fountain, and I get the impression he is present more at the Fountain location and was just wholly unaware of what was going on. Since finding out he is working very hard to make it right with me and ensure that his staff works toward creating a better buying experience. In the meantime Tom worked with me to smooth over the current situation and was very understanding of where I was coming from in my experience and opinion. That doesn't happen every day. I can this now this place DOES care about what happens, and I highly doubt the type of situation I went through will be repeated. read more

The fact that you don't know that the trailer is not on your lot is disturbing, as well as the fact that I have left multiple messages for you at the dealership. I am only able to draw three conclusions from my experience with you... not sure which one is accurate. 1. Business is so good that you can afford to blow off a large repair job, and a future trailer sale. 2. Your service department is incompetent, and just doesn't care. 3. There is no culture of accountability in your store. Sold me a H&H enclosed trailer. Bad for me that I was inexperienced with this type of trailer. But they didn't explain much of anything to me when I bought it. I just had to continue to ask questions. I was sold etrack to install to tie down cargo. That was a big and expensive jog. Then I find that there really isn't anyway to hook up the interior lights. The Trailer jack is not standard, it fastens with pins, like a trailer hitch. NO one carries this type of jack, if you want to replace it with one with a wheel. H&H really sucks, as they only sell parts through dealers, so the mark up is huge. My advice is to stay clear of Parker Trailer and their H&H products. read more

It was Thursday around 4pm and we had to have service right away so that we could make it to our destination on time for an important event on Friday. After making countless calls with no luck we thought we were bound to end up stranded waiting for a first available Tuesday appointment with some other company. Took our trailer in as a slide quit operating. Was told they couldn't figure out what was wrong and we'd have to take it elsewhere because the slide needed to be removed and they didn't have the facilities. The slide did NOT need to be removed. It needed a new gear box. My husband obtained the part and installed it in a few hours from inside the trailer. The young man at the service desk was polite and friendly but can't believe they don't know how to do such a common repair. What a waste of time and money. read more

I called looking for a specific hitch for my car. I had previously gone to another trailer store, but when they didn't have what I needed, they provided a list of places to call, this place being one of them. After calling and asking for specifically what I needed, the man on the phone said no problem, we have plenty. After driving thirty minutes out of my way to pick it up, i arrived and was told that they didn't have what I needed. Not only that, but the salesman first was extremely condescending and told me that I was wrong, that I didn't know what I was talking about. After I carefully explained it further, exactly how I had on the phone, he responded "oh we don't have that". Also, if you are taking social distancing seriously, do not enter the building because not a single employee or customer besides myself was wearing a mask. read more

Honestly the worst service I've ever experienced. I called to make an appointment for my trailer. Shared in detail what I was looking for and at the end was told that person I was speaking with didn't work the counter in the service department. I was told he would pass the information on as a message to someone who did and I would receive a call back shortly. 10 days later I received a voicemail asking me to call back and make an appointment. I was reluctant but decided to give the benefit of the doubt and schedule an appointment. Next available was over a month away. I scheduled it and arrived at 8am on the nose the day of my appointment. I waited inside for 20 minutes until someone acknowledged me. The gentlemen working at the service counter then passed me on to older gentleman who was obviously unclear of what he needed to do. He begins putting together an invoice even though I haven't even looked at available jacks to install yet. After we get the trailer checked in, pictures taken, products agreed upon and a number put on it I'm told to leave the trailer with my boat on it sitting in the middle of the parking lot. I was told I'd receive a call later in the day. A few hours later I received two calls within 3 minutes of each other. First was from someone who I haven't spoken to yet and the other from the old man who checked me in. They both are saying something similar but confusingly contradicting each other and offering different solutions to different problems. When I call back, I talk to a third person and explain what the other two calls are saying. Essentially I'm being told that my trailer can't be fixed because you don't have the parts and it is not possible to order them from the manufacturer. The tech tells me the he "can retrofit lights he already sells but that it wouldn't look right and probably isn't what I want" I respond by telling him " ok that's an issue let me drive down and take a look at what you are talking about and see what we can do". He abruptly tells me that he's "given me my option and thats my choice" I explain that I'm on my way and that we can go over it when I arrive. When I get there and explain to the man at the counter who I am again there is no response. A few minutes later the service person tells me that the lot tech is busy but will be bringing my trailer around in a minute. No explanation, no discussion, no apology or effort in anyway to work something out. I was disappointed at this point and decided to leave. When the lot tech came up with the trailer and was ready to load it the service person came out to help him load it on my truck. I asked him" is this how you normally handle your customers with $500-$1000 jobs after waiting over a month for an appointment?" He replied, " can't get the parts, sorry we can't help you". Keep in mind that I'm looking at a new jack, new tires, and reworked electrical. This isn't just one issue. The only thing not in stock were the lights. Confused, I asked the gentleman if he is the manager or owner to which he reply's "he is not". Thinking maybe this guy is having a bad day I ask to speak to a manager in the hopes of finding a resolution. I wait in the lot for an additional 25 minutes and no one ever comes out to speak to me so I leave. I will never do business with this company and have already recommended another local shop to my friends. Hopefully for your sake you'll review your procedures in the service department and strive to improve. Good luck Honestly your response is laughable, untrue and unfortunate in a variety of ways. I am a very reasonable and friendly person. I'm not sure who gave you that ridiculous information but it sounds like a pathetic attempt to save face after your employees acted so unprofessionally. Your assertion I left quickly and sped away is exactly the kind of nonsense I'd expect to hear. I waited for a very long time to speak to someone about the situation who I was told was coming out and never did. As I was leaving your unpaved lot and towing a trailer, I stopped and had a conversation with a gentleman working on the shed side and then stopped again at the end of the driveway as I looked up another shop to contact. I sat there for 4-5 minutes. So yea... that's a flat out lie. Its ok. You guys justify for yourselves in any way that works for you.
