The lady at the front desk checking me in was very kind, explained the paperwork I had to fill out and made the process quick and smooth. However, the physician I was seen by, I didnt care for. He is not displayed on the business images so I cannot point him out. He was condescending while 'providing care.' When he asked questions. He'd have me repeat myself as if I didnt understand the questions or wasnt responding correctly. When speaking, he was either mumbling, grinding his teeth or just not speaking clearly and he made it uncomfortable to ask him to repeat the question. While I was trying to make out what he said, he was making facial gestures displaying his clear annoyance by me not answering immediately. I also witnessed him treat an elderly patient with lack of patience and annoyed that the patient could not understand how the pronounced their name. Dr. Dini is a wonderful Orthopedist and person. He puts you at ease with his disarmingly honest, humorous (pun intended) and straightforward bedside manner which leaves you comforted and informed. His staff is top notch and they will work hard to get you the attention that you need. Biggest waste of time and money I've ever had with a doctor. He mis diagnosed me, always had one foot in the door and one foot out, didn't show up for appointments, and left me abandoned an hour from home after his office promised to take care of transportation for me after their mistakes. I ended up having to pay for an uber to get home and they refused to reimburse me. This is strictly my experience. The staff doesn't communicate and although he's a pain specialist, he doesn't treat pain. Ends up with my new surgeon, this doctor completely missed a fractured elbow as well as an ACL tear, from the same MRI. I'd avoid this guy and his unorganized staff that cancelled my surgery 2 days before when I live 4 hours away. I'd have been better off handing out hundred dollar bills to strangers, at least I'd have found a real doctor who actually took the time to properly diagnose what I could see with my own eyes on the scan, and I know nothing about medicine. Don't just go to whoever your attorney tells you to, you have the right to see whoever you want. After all of this he wanted me to return 120 miles just to close out my file. Super sketchy. Happily sent here for a workers compensation issue, Dr. Dini, senior, is very pleasant and personable, he thoroughly reviewed my chart, my statements, asking relevant questions, never making me feel inferior. I shared my attempts to relieve myself of my condition, one being water aerobics, he shared his experience as a life guard, and encouraged me. He enquired what if anything has helped me, and to my delight he shared therapy is available at his Pico office, which is very convenient for me! The entire staff are delightful, very pleasant and welcoming, the imaging office had issues contacting me and much to my delight one of the office staff, Elizabeth, made the appointment on my behalf and called me to provide me with the information. Dr. Dini is my favorite, by far: he's kind, cheerful, informative; most of all, speaks to me with the attentiveness and compassion that makes me think I'm his only patient. I couldn't say better things about Dr. Dini. I had a hellish experience tearing my ACL and getting care while on Medi-Cal, but Dr. Dini has been the one glowing exception. Once I landed in his office, he was amazingly attentive, reassuring, and encouraging. He gave me a pro/con breakdown of the potential graft options and performed a patellar graft reconstruction for me even though that wasn't his first choice, when I explained my long-term sports goals. He has been an incredible resource every step of the way, and I look forward to my appointments with him, which you can't always say!! Highly recommend him for your knee needs. read more

I was referred to Dr. Dini after I broke my elbow. I saw him for a brief appointment, and was told that my follow-up would be scheduled for two weeks after. The receptionist let me know that Dr. Dini would not be in the office in two weeks, and to schedule for 3 weeks out. No problem. I scheduled my appointment and left. 3 weeks later, my appointment is canceled the day of via voicemail (about an hour before my appointment, good thing I hadn't left yet, I guess). I was told what my next appointment day/time was, and to call back if I couldn't make that day/time they scheduled (without asking). I tried to call back, as that day/time did not work for me. I tried calling back three times. I couldn't get through to anyone, just transferred multiple times and put on hold endlessly. I never showed up for that appointment since I could not get through to reschedule it, and no one followed up with me from their office. Not sure if my experience was because I'm on medi-cal, but I think everyone should be treated the same. Now I'm having issues with my arm, but know I won't be able to get help here. It's a bummer. Love this man. Both my hips have been giving out over the past few years. I went to a few osteopaths, always left jittery, especially about having a bilateral hip replacement; everyone downplays it because it's such a successful and helpful operation, but the reality is they're taking a major chunk of your body out and replacing it. It's a big deal. The moment Dr. Dini first bounced into the treatment room -- bouncing is his energy; positive, there's a solution to this, everything's going to be great! -- I knew I could trust him to steer me in the right direction. My left knee with a meniscus tear has worsen after my last appointment here on 3-1-24. Destroying my injured knee. Teamed up with workers comp & my employer. Asks me why I haven't had surgery as he's shaking his head. Dr.Dini then overrides my helpful previous restrictions with his second opinion. My leg swelled more daily after he added 2 more hours/approximately 2 more miles of walking with weight on my back to his new/latest restrictions. I could barely walk afterwards & had to go to urgent care after a few days of what he added to my workday. Maybe he's great without working with workers comp, because he sure didn't help me at all but made my left leg worse by aggravating my injury. I was forced to come here by workers comp for a second opinion. Now I need a third opinion from a different specialist, because he's very helpful with workers comp & will work against the patient for them. I would never choose DR. Dini as a specialist if I had the choice. It's sad that these doctors can do this & get away with it. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Dini and his staff for roughly 2 years now. I have had one operation on my left knee for my meniscus and also a workers comp case for my right hand. He really cares for his patients and has a lot of empathy for them. I can tell that he wants what is best for you by attentiveness and through explanations. So , not only is he a ( EXCELLENT DOCTOR) with a caring staff, (Nellie) did everything regarding my disability claim and made it so easy for me. Also regarding the rest of his staff Elizabeth's she is the front desk first person you see her first with a smile and a voice so calming , for example for myself running late last week for my appointment stressed out and I called the office to say I might be a few minutes late and Elizabeth answered the phone and just hearing her voice saying not to worry it made my stress level go down and I did not worry. Elsa and Hector are also very caring and very helpful. This office is the BEST never a wait time they call you in at the at the time of your appointment. I would give a ten star if I could.
