I recently saw Dr. Gruver for lower back pain which I have been suffering with for the last 10 years. I have had little success after seeing various chiropractors, Physical Therapist and Physicians. CORRUPT! Sub-standard level of care. Avoid at all costs. Dr. Gruver knowingly prescribes and performs procedures that are not needed. They do not return phone calls if it has to do with your pain. But harass you to keep scheduling follow up appointments and further procedures. Fyi: you should not be paying for every follow up appointment. This practice is so corrupt. Being a doctor and a surgeon, I'm very picky about who I trust my health with, especially when it comes to the health of my spine and neck. This clinic is beautiful with super professional staff. Was carefully diagnosed and treated quickly. I was in a great deal of pain due to a car accident and with the procedure recommended I was back to swimming and doing full on work outs within a month. It saddens me to write this review bc Dr Enayati's office Crew is one of the nicest I have encountered but I feel like I would want to be warned about him ... NEGLIGENCE and DISHONESTY make the fact that he over prescribes just the tip of the Iceberg. There are so many glowing reviews here but I wonder did half of them actually need what he prescribed? Here is my story I went in with severe headaches. He on the first visit seemed so knowledgeable I thought I finally found a doctor that will help me figure out my headaches. He ordered an MRI. When I went for my follow up visit is when this story gets interesting. He let me know that my neck looks like an 80 year old woman w the amount of arthritis in it and showing me to bulges in my disks. (I am in my mid 40s) These words alone let my heart sink. (not so great for a doctor that should be aware of the power of words and placebo effect. ) But great to convince me to get injections in my spine. A lucrative biz model for him. That or physical therapy. I left confused and at a loss. I barely asked any questions bc I didnt know what to say. I decided to proceed with the physical therapy as well as the injections.I was awaiting to hear back on an opening in their schedule that works with mine. Meanwhile over the period of 2 weeks I asked DrEnayati's assistant several times for a report on the visit as i was confused that he barely gave me any information. Looking for as any other advice on how I can manage my neck so that the arthritis doesn't get worse. I get a short email that my diagnosis is a servical disk disorder. and all the advice he can give me is to not run or jump. and that they will send me the full report when it's completed. But for two weeks I get nothing. I opt to see a physical therapist and the first thing he tells me is" ARE YOU AWARE THAT YOU HAVE A LARGE LOBE ON YOUR LEFT THRYOID AS CLEARLY STATED IN THE MRI?" It's the first time I hear of it and I am shocked that Dr Enayati never mentions it. If he has neglected to tell me such an important fact, I decide to ask the Physical therapist about the recommended injections to help with my disk disroder bc my trust in Dr E is now fading and he advises me to perhaps wait for those as a last measure BECAUSE ONE CAN ONLY HAVE TWO OF THESE INJECTIONS IN A LIFE TIME IN NEEDED AREA!!!! So if I use those now AT 46 and in 10 years my condition worsens i won't have it as an option ANYMORE. Did Dr enayati mention that ? NO! Last I call Dr Enayati office to let them know how dissapointed I was w my care and that it was greatly neglected and that I have still not received a full report several weeks later as I had requested the day of the visit. By the end of the day DR E has completed a false report filled with lies that he disucssed my thyroid mass w me etc and he has given me excercises for my neck.. The report now even showed I have a regular heart beat and clear lungs which he actually did NOT examine .. had he done so he would have seen that I have strong heart arrhythmia as well as mitral valve prolapse. So not only did he neglect my treatment and was only giddy to prescribe a very expensive treatment that was completely unnecessary. He had no problem lying and misrepresent his care for me in my visits to cover his tracks once I called him on his neglect!!! You want to trust him w ur spine??? No thank you read more

Dr. Enayati is currently treating my fiancée after countless treatments by other doctors over the last year and a half. During her first appointment with him he mentioned a few things to her that other doctors had previously overlooked and undermined. Dr. Enayati offered to do a form of an injection that he believes will offer her pain relief and although she has had injections in the past she was basically on hold with moving forward with any other treatments. He was very reassuring and gave us hope. He is very knowledgeable in both injuries and treatments plans and trust he will get her going again. We definitely recommend coming to see him. I had such an amazing experience here! Every single member of the staff are rockstars. I was referred here after being rear ended in a car accident 4 months ago. After many sessions at a chiropractor I was still experiencing pain so I was told to take an MRI and bring it in to Dr. Enayati to be evaluated. I kid you not I was in and out of my appointment in 30 mins including the time spent doing paperwork. They were fast and the doctor explained to me he recommended joint injections to target the pain I was feeling in my lower back and minimize inflammation of my joints. This was my first procedure so I was nervous and I feel like every member of the office came by to reassure me it was gonna be fine. I feel amazing after! I am very happy to have found Dr. Enayati here in LA. I have been on pain management for a while, and had a great doctor in NY but was worried if I would find one out here. But Dr. Enayati is very knowledgeable. He is always looking for new ways and solution's to deal with or get rid of the pain, but he is also very good at listening to what you say personally works best for you.This is extremely important in a doctor. He and the rest of his staff are very sweet, and he even called to check up on me once when I had to cancel an appointment due to hospitalization. You do not have to wait long to be seen and the office is very nice. The only thing you should know is that he works inside of a plastic surgeons office space. My first appointment I walked around for the block and building for 15+ minutes because I did not know this and couldn't find the place. As a very active 40(something year old)... I have had many injuries over the years that needed treatment. After a long and treacherous hiking adventure, I had been nursing a hamstring and lower back injury for some time. I had been receiving treatment from other Doctors, to no avail.
