It was my first time choosing a doctor through Yelp, so I was a little nervous, but I'm so glad I did. I originally went in for orthotics. The first pair didn't work well for me, but he quickly identified the issue and had me come right back in to re-scan my feet. He had a new & different pair created for me that worked far better, and I really appreciated how proactive and committed he was to getting it right. Dr. Khadavi is warm, truly listens, and genuinely cares about his patients. I've since gone back to him for additional foot needs and continue to appreciate his responsiveness and attentiveness. I consulted with 3 different foot surgeons before I chose Dr. Khadavi. LOOK NO FURTHER, BECAUSE YOU CANNOT FIND A BETTER SURGEON AND CARING "UP TO DATE" PHYSICIAN. When I could no longer walk because of the pain my bunion was causing me, a friend told me about Dr. K. Not only is he conservative in his thinking, he is one of the most empathetic doctors I have been to in all my senior years. As I was closing my eyes at the beginning of surgery, I told Dr. Khadavi I was nervous. He pulled over a chair, sat down, took my hand in his and said very comforting, reassuring things as I fell asleep. I NEVER took a pain pill, not even a Tylenol. I walked out of the surgery in a surgical shoe and didn't have to deal with a cast. I was in a sneaker just a couple of weeks later. Had an appointment yesterday. Had seen two other podiatrists who didn't really explain too well about my plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendonitis so I was in pain and confused. Dr Khadavi explained to my wife and me what was going on explained the treatments and answered all of our questions. Dr Khadavi is one of the best podiatrists one could ask for.. an expert who is advanced in his field and who is on the cutting edge of technology . He is personable, communicative and genuine in his desire to help me with my chronic foot pain. He has given me painless injections that were formerly excruciating with less experienced, less caring doctors, so I am confident of his skill set as a surgeon as well. His office is gorgeous and calming like a zen spa with an amazing view of the city, so it takes away that uncomfortable clinical feeling of a hospital/ medical setting which can raise one's blood pressure. Dr. Khadavi is great. I was having hip and foot pain bc I have flat feet. He got me custom Orthotics for my sneakers and dress shoes. After a week or two my pain went away.
