The man who owns the place is very nice, and will take you for a carriage ride. We fed some deer marshmallows, watched the sunset in the carriage, and had a nice evening. He is a chatty man and makes for good conversation- lots of stories. The rooms were very nicely decorated, and while they were admittedly a tad "musky," the antique charm makes up for it. There were also fans in the rooms to help. Additionally, there was a very cool copper bathtub in our room. The location is great, right by the main stretch near a restaurant and antique shop. Additionally, there is a stash of board games and puzzles for guest use. The breakfast was nice, and included a lot of options. It was a very "country" meal, and pleasantly tasted hearty. It was filling. And if you're hungry, the tavern (about a black away) has GREAT grilled cheese and is open until 1 am :)

We had a successful stay in the beautiful civil War themed country Colonial bed and breakfast. everything was clean and bright and the breakfast was so delightful and absolutely too much however the six of us sure enjoyed everything.
