David is an excellent hygienist who is super thorough and gentle and always does an awesome job making my teeth look and feel great. Dr. Wang is an excellent dentist, very friendly; I've had to have one filling replaced with him (it cracked years ago, and he finally convinced me to replace it) and although it did get/stay a little sensitive for a while now it's perfect. He was really good checking in with me every time and giving me tips on how to help with the sensitivity issues. The front staff is usually very friendly and helpful as well. I've been going here for a few years and only had one incident that I can remember where maybe somebody was having a bad day (hey it happens to all of us!) :) all in all I definitely recommend going here for your dental care needs.

They don't stand behind the work they do or they do work that isn't a permanent fix. The first thing that the doctor said to me was I anticipated you coming back by they way we fixed your tooth the last time. If he knew I would be back, why didn't he suggest or fix the veneer so I didn't have to come back. Instead he let me leave with the idea that I would be back, either sooner or later. That tells me that they did the cheapest, easiest fix, and did not permanently fix the problem of my veneer falling out, and the chances of me having to return would be great and I would have to pay more money. Now he expects me to pay more money for sub par work that wasn't meant to be a permanent fix. Nobody explained any of my options and now this is the THIRD time I have to have this tooth/veneer replaced. Smiles Dentistry as a corporation name did the work, so smiles dentistry should fix the problem. The doctor basically told me to go find the original doctor that initially did the work and have him guarantee the work. This owner at Maple Grove did the work the second time and when I came in the third time his first statement was I figured you would be back. That doesn't tell me that he fixes teeth to permanently help the client. He fixes them to a level that is sub par and just do happens more beneficial for his finances. He told me I knew you would be back and that he didn't even have to look at the X-rays tells me that he KNEW what was going on my mouth was not permanent. **Above and beyond during an emergency visit**…read more My son was sent to AOMS for an unexpected emergency visit after his regular dentist accidentally punctured the roof of his mouth while unsuccessfully trying to remove a back molar. From the moment we arrived, every person we interacted with was fast, efficient, and incredibly professional. They got us in quickly, examined the puncture, and clearly explained what they were seeing and what needed to be done next. They not only successfully removed the back molar, but also found and removed small shard fragments left behind in another extraction site from the earlier appointment. Throughout the whole process they were patient, kind, and very reassuring with both me and my son, checking in on his comfort level and walking us through each step so there were no surprises. What impressed me most was how they made a stressful, last‑minute emergency visit feel smooth and organized, almost as if it had been planned in advance. I had opted for Novocain and what amazed me was I barely felt the shots as they went in to my gums, and I hate needles. The surgeon then proceeded to extract the teeth and did so with care, always checking in with me to see how I was doing. Thee was even a moment when we had to stop so I could be numbed a bit more. I appreciated being told what was going to be done and the explaining what was happening as we went on. In my opinion, this is definitely a quality practice.

In May, almost two months ago, I went in for a quick exam to evaluate a sharp pain in one spot on one tooth. I saw Dr. Lam and she tapped around that tooth but couldn't find the spot that was causing my pain. The pain had only been there for around two weeks, which she said wasn't long enough to investigate further. She suggested it was from clenching my teeth at night and recommended a night guard. I have had brief episodes of clenching in the past and it results in a totally different dull jaw ache so I said I really did not think that was the issue. I also already have a night guard. I then proceeded to leave town for almost two months and decided to just avoid hitting that tooth until I could come back and have it checked out again. I had told them I might go to another clinic while I was out of town but ultimately decided to wait because I overall trusted Almond and wanted continuity. Last week, I scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. This morning, I got a call informing me that my appointment was being canceled because Dr. Lam didn't want to see me and none of the other dentists wanted to take over. All because I disagreed with her initial conclusion after a 10 minute exam, based on knowing what normal and abnormal pain is like in the teeth I've had for 25+ years. Sadly, my whole family was part of the dental clinic for the past 2+ years. If there was a 0-star rating, that is what Grove Dentist would receive from me. Recently my insurance change and Lynn called me asking for the photo of insurance card and policy numbers. I explain my situation and let Lynn know that I have not received the card in the mail, that I will bring the insurance card in at time of appt, and if I haven't received the cards then I would be calling BCBS for that information prior to the appt. Back story, I made an appt due to a chipped tooth. The clinic initially scheduled me for the beginning of September 2025 only to be told by Lynn that there was no available slot prior to Sept 22nd, 2025. I ask Lynn how she knew to call me back to ask for insurance information if I didn't have an appt in place. Lynn then said, "oh, sorry that message was for someone else, I do see that you have an appt already". Sooooooo Do I or Do I Not????? Lynn then proceeds to ask for insurance information in which I shared that I have not receive my cards yet as this is a new Insurance plan for 09/2025. I told Lynn that it will be BCBS. Lynn said that was fine then texted me a couple days later asking again for the information. I inform Lynn again that I have not receive the card yet and should I not get then in time I could give BCBS a call. Lynn said OK. A day later Lynn text me again for a picture of the card and policy number, once again I told her I have not receive the card. The following day Lynn text again for the information and at this point, I'm starting to feel harassed. What don't they understand about me bringing in the card at the scheduled appt time? Again, I let her know that I have not gotten the cards yet. Lynn proceeds to tell me that if they don't receive the information the I would be responsible to pay for the appointment. Lynn, how many times do I need to tell you that I'll bring the card info in on appt day? So, I ignored Lynn's text message and didn't reply to such ignorance. Surprise! Today I get another text from Julia asking for the insurance information. At this point, Grove Dentist has basically harassed me all week long so I let Julia know that if they can't wait for me to bring in the information, they can cancel the appt and I can go somewhere else and not be harassed about "INSURANCE INFORMATION" daily. Julia basically replied and said, "Ok your appt is cancel and let us know where to send your X-rays." Wait, my appt was not even for X-rays though??? they don't even know what I'm going in for??
