We had a diseased 60 foot tall maple tree that needed to be removed, before the harsh weather ahead. We got three estimates. Ervin came in 33% below one of them and 14% below the other. He also offered another $300 savings option but we chose to have them do the complete job, through final cleanup. Ervin and his crew arrived on time and quickly and efficiently cut down the entire tree, mulched the smaller branches and chopped the larger, healthy ones into firewood. It was amazing to watch. He showed up for one day of work, during which his machine broke down, and he completed only about 25% of the removal job(have not started on stump grinding yet). He then pressured my elderly parents, who are both in their eighties and suffer from Alzheimer's, into paying him $2,000. They are not in a condition to handle high-pressure situations, and I was not present at the time. Given that $2,000 significantly exceeded the value of the work completed, the contractor happily chose not to return and instead began making a series of excuses. At one point, he offered to refund $1,000, but when I tried to collect the refund, he changed his story again saying he will come back to finish but stopped responding to me. It appears he does not keep his words, lie consistently, and is willing to take advantage of vulnerable people whenever the opportunity arises.

They were amazing, they communicated extremely well, and did exactly what they said they would do. They had to use the crane to lift the trees over the roof of my house, nothing even came close to my house, even though some of the area's they worked in were really tight. They dropped the trees close to the ground, then the ground crew pushed them into the street BEFORE anything touched the ground. Throughout the process they had the blowers running, making sure my yard stayed clear of any debris. When they were finished, they again blew the yard to remove any debris, and cleaned the street as well. There wasn't so much as a leaf left behind when they finished! The entire crew was friendly and communicated very well throughout the entire process. I can't say enough good things about the crew that did the work!
