We solicited estimates from four tree service companies. Of these, Michael Fisher, owner of We Care Tree Care, impressed us the most. He inspected every aspect of the problem tree. He also looked at other trees on our property. Finally, he gave us the most detailed analysis and recommendation. So, we decided to go with We Care Tree Care. We are so glad we did. Michael Fisher and his team arrived on time on January 12, 2026. They did a spectacular job trimming our two elm trees and one maple tree. They went above and beyond what they had quoted us to trim the big maple tree. Finally, they removed all the broken branches and debris and left behind a very clean job site. During the cleanup process, however, some cables connected to our satellite dish were inadvertently knocked off our roof. Michael wasn't aware of this. On discovering it, we asked Michael to come back and put the cables back. Without hesitation, Michael came back, climbed on our roof, and secured the cables to the house. He truly went above and beyond the call of duty to make these cables tight and secure for years to come. In sum, we think Michael and his team did a stellar job with trimming our trees. I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience with this tree removal company's owner…read more I responded to a flyer from the owner for a quote to remove a tree, and although I never met the owner in person, he left a business card at my door and provided an estimate, via text. After obtaining both HOA and city approval, I agreed to hire him and we scheduled a date for the work to be completed. Unfortunately, he showed up one week earlier than the agreed-upon date due to his own scheduling mistake. I have text messages clearly showing the correct date requested. I was not home, and he immediately began demanding a $500 cash payment upfront from my roommate before any work had started. The interaction then became even more concerning when he asked my roommate to put on his shoes and come outside to speak with him. After moving him away from our security cameras, he began asking personal questions, including what my roommates relationship was to me. After being told we are family friends, he left. I found this behavior highly inappropriate and completely unrelated to the job he was hired to perform. I tried to call him twice with no answer. When I provided proof via text messages that he had the date wrong, instead of acknowledging the mistake and rescheduling, he chose to cancel the entire job. Mistakes happen, but professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication are important when working at someone's home. Showing up on the wrong date, demanding cash from someone who wasn't the person who hired you, asking intrusive personal questions, and then canceling the project after being shown evidence of the scheduling error left me with a very negative impression. I guess they aren't "above it all", after all. While I was very taken aback at Stephen Bell's behavior, I was able to find an amazing company to take care of it.

Despite the business not having the hundreds of reviews the other companies had we looked into had, there was a sense of trust I got from Angelo. They have perfect reviews and now we know why! The longest part was informing my neighbors about us cutting down a tree we both shared but once I was ready, so was Angelo and his crew. The scheduling was fast and they were very professional, punctual and accommodating to our availability. What started as just a small trim job ended up turning into a much needed make over.
