I give a 5 star because of the service. I went in on a Saturday night and put an hour in. I failed to recall the name of the guy working there but they were slammed with orders and he was totally consumed with work and kept his composure throughout. Outside of the service, the pizza was absolutely exceptional. As many pizzas as they were dishing out, the quality didn't get lost. We got the X-Large Combination pizza and it was delicious. No red sauce but the balance between the cheese and bread was money. Anytime I'll visit my parents pizza it is. read more

So we go there for "quick trips," which is kind of an inside joke for us, since it is a 15 minute drive, door-to-door. We just discovered that they are probably THE closest pizza place, so we tried it out. "Nirvana" is a very good description! Have been shopping here my whole life, but the new owners have really poured their love and attention into it. New freezers, new refrigerators for beverages and a crazy amount of unique beers and fun drinks like hard cider and canned spirits. I used to have to go to Williams to find a better selection, but not any more. Their butcher counter is amazing. Never had a bad cut, and really enjoy their pre marinated items as well. Great flavor. They always have the best staff behind the meat counter, always friendly and helpful. Don't be afraid to ring the bell if you don't see anyone - they might be in the walk in prepping an order. The pizza - the what? You might be thinking. Well, they put in a pizza oven and holy cow is it amazing. I remember when they first got it and were testing sauce and dough recipes, kept asking for feed back on the slice they would hand you while you shopped. They really took the time to perfect their pizza and man, is it delicious! So glad the new owners have given the store some TLC and invested in our tiny town. Ordered one pastrami and one turkey sandwich. Huge portion for the cost, flavors are basic but solid. The guy behind the counter said to his coworker "That makes 5 sandwiches today", which worried me that the ingredients may not have been that fresh. Especially since I was browsing the grocery store area and found multiple expired ingredients in the isles. I tried not to think about it, but the sandwiches looked and tasted clean and fresh. I normally enjoy shopping here especially under the new ownership however I was in the store yesterday evening 07/29/20 and there were 4 customers in line the customer at the register had an item that wouldn't ring up. I heard someone from the deli counter say "she has a lot of people in line up there" the cashier called for help and a woman (blondish, sunglasses on her head) from the back of the store came up front to punch in a price for the item, when she was done with that she looked at the line and walked away the cashier said to the customers "I thought she was going to open the other register" then apologized to every customer when she rang us up. Mostly I'm writing this review because someone with the same first name wrote a negative one and they didn't post a picture of themselves and I don't want people to think it was me. I shop here all the time when I am in the area working.The fresh pizza in the back of the store is super good. There are actually other small grocery stores in the area and this is one of the better ones. This is a very small town surrounded by other small towns and this and a handful of other stores make it easy for people who live here to have access to produce , pizza , toilet paper etc.It's about a half an hour drive to a large grocery store . This is good for cat food, pizza, donuts, And household supplies that you need immediately. The fresh pizza in the back and the donuts in the glass case by the checkout stand really are quite good. There are also small bags of chips that are cheap.Thursday's pizza is 25 percent off. Super convenient to pick up a hot pizza , bag salad , and drinks all in the same place. read more

I don't know who put those nice reviews , probably friends of owners, but this is my honest review of this Arbuckle Market. First of all the produce section is very very small and the fruits and the veggies look like they've been sitting for at least 2 to 3 days. Also I would not buy meat from there because all the meat ,has a suspicious color. But the most important thing is the pricing in this store. The prices are outrageously High. $5 for a dozen of eggs?? $2 for a white bread sliced which is usually $0.99 ?? Every item in the store is priced double. They take advantage of the customers, because they know they are the only Market in the area. But is not Fair to consumers. I am pretty sure that if they dropp the prices the place will be packed with people shopping there. The only thing good about this place is that the people are friendly. But unfortunately you cannot put that on the table when you cook dinner. read more

I just moved to Arbuckle and found this place by accident. The woman at the cash register was super nice and get a cart for me after I absentmindedly walked right past them and was attempting to carry my infant in his car seat and my groceries. Its very small and more of a 'market' to grab the few things you need to complete a meal or pick up something you forgot at the grocery store. Since I usually go to Woodland for my groceries it was a nice surprise to find this place just incase I need a few small items and don't necessarily need to drive 35 minutes to Woodland. :) read more
