Best pizza we have had in Yuba City so far. We ordered an indy girl on the low carb crust for $17.50. The crust was super thin and crispy, and the curry sauce was very light. You can tell they use quality ingredients. Prices might be a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Now that this place is on my radar, I will be back. You can sit at the bar and have drinks and food from the grocery store that this place is inside. The staff was friendly enough it was just two girls who were working. They have music going which is also kind of nice. It would be a good place to chill with a small group of friends (if I had any in yuba). Order a pizza and do some shopping win win. read more

This place is amazing! It was a little challenging to find as it is within a "Whole Foods" type of marketplace. What a menu! I had the "Mexican Mama" pizza- perfect crust from a wood fire oven, just the right amount of sauce, pepperoni, carne asada, cauliflower tips (trust me this works), the right amount of cheese, pepper flakes and the ultimate star of this pie is the smoked jalapeños! Amazing friendly and engaged staff and a lot of full and fun conversations at the bar. On a side note, when the Paradise fires wiped out homes and dreams, Rolling Stone pizza took it upon themselves to take their food truck up there and feed the brave firefighters and the Paradise evacuees who lost everything. Is there any better pizza to eat than a freshly made, wood fire grilled pizza, hot out of the oven with some sweet BBQ sauce drizzled over the bubbling cheese? I think not! This is a small pizza bar located inside The New Earth grocery store. I love to sit and watch my order being made. I also love the idea that you can order one (1) pizza, but have it your way and his way with completely different toppings and sauce! We have eaten pizza both in-house and take-out. The take-out (baked at home) was just as delicious. The last time we were here there were two new employees (new to us anyway). I was a tad bit put off when they were touching the phone, cash register, oven, money, AND the ingredients as they continued to make pizzas all without washing their hands or changing their gloves. I knew my half of the pizza tasted different, but couldn't put my finger on it until I saw another pizza, like I ordered, being made ~ the tomatoes were left off! I am hoping these two less than acceptable issues will never happen again because we absolutely love Jim's pizzas! read more

What a joke this place is. I ordered a large pizza and asked how many slices it was. I was told 14. I figured enough for 4 people. I guess they consider a slice the size of a cracker. 37.50!!!! We ate here on 6/11/22. The service was great and the pizza was fantastic. We had the ordered 4 pizzas: Mother Clucker; Sod Busters; Hang Loose Hawaiian; and Slamm 'N' Sammy. They were all fantastic. The ingredients are fresh, colorful, and beautiful! They have different crust options including cauliflower crust for the Keto crew. The flavor combinations are fantastic and mouthwatering. The staff have always been great and very friendly. The owner is a staple in our community, CONSTANTLY hosting fundraisers for fallen military service members, teachers, law enforcement service members, and was a main contributor to helping feed the fire fighters and survivors of the Camp Fire dozens of times on his own dime. I was looking up new places to try and found this gem on Yelp! If you like pizza you have to try this place. We ordered a medium pizza half indie go-go and half blues brothers. Both of them were phenomenal. I'm a big fan of ranch with pizza, they don't have ranch but they do have a homemade garlic sauce, it was better than ranch honestly. Went here for the first time on 2-15-19 for lunch and sat at the counter talking with my friend. The two females working were very stand-offish the whole time, acting like we were putting them out!! As we talked they continually turned up the music until we were practically yelling. Worst pizza margarita I have ever had. It was cold. The crust was from prebaked. The sauce tasted like spaghetti Os. The cheese was barely melted. The tomatoes tasteless. The staff complied with our request to take a picture. Although they were quite put out about it. I think they were put out that we were there at all. Usually we LOVE the pizza. But today, I order a pizza with extra toppings including extra artichoke hearts. I got home and there was none. My mistake for leaving without looking at my pizza but usually it's perfect. I drove back with pizza in hand, and asked them to remake one with artichoke hearts. One of the girls told me "oh I forgot to tell you we ran out of artichoke hearts"... so I proceeded to buy 2 jars of artichokes from the grocery section. I then asked her to remake the pizza. She was VERY irritated that I asked her to remake the pizza and argued why it wasn't their fault. She did not remake the pizza, and the pizza came out extremely crunchy and just not up to par with the usual. I didn't have the energy to have a second argument about why it should be remade. I'm bummed that I paid $25 dollars plus a fat tip for a shitty pizza, and that she was so rude about their mistake. May never purchase again and it sucks because I love the pizza but when a customer pays a pretty penny for a 10 inch pizza, it ought to be right. Hubby and I are sorely disappointed. This isn't the first time this girl has given a bad attitude but I try to brush it off. NOT a good face for this business! The owner is so nice. I wished he was there for this mistake. We catered our daughter's graduation/4th of July party on the 2nd of July. The truck equipped with the pizza oven came to our home. The pizza was amazing as was Lucy! Jim nailed it! I think most people thought I was crazy when I had the vision of pizza at my wedding. But once my fiance (now husband) met Jim King I knew I had him on board! My wedding was August 1, 2015 in Sutter, CA and I had the task of planning it all the way from San Diego. Jim was great and completely put me at ease that this would be a wedding to remember.
