I have fond memories of my first summer job at The Ex (Canadian National Exhibition). There was an Arby's portable stand steps away from where I was working. I would crave a medium roast beef sandwich. I would get one either during my afternoon break or after work before heading home. These days, there isn't a single Arby's in the Toronto area. A few years ago, my closest one was in Ajax. That location has since closed down. These days, I have the option of going to Whitby, Burlington, or Waterloo to get my fix. I recently did a staycation in Mississauga. On Easter, I craved Arby's and took half an hour to drive over to this location. It's in a quiet part of town. There are businesses and some industries on this street. This Arby's seems to have been there for a while. I pulled in and parked. You can't miss the huge Arby's sign on the wall. Naturally, I had to take a picture of it. This Arby's has a drive-thru, but I opted to eat in. Staff there are extremely friendly. Everyone seemed happy to be there on Easter. I ordered a medium beef and cheddar sandwich, with curly fries and a drink. I also got Oreo bites for dessert. It didn't take long to get my food. It was nice that the person preparing my food said, "Enjoy!" I found a booth and sat down. It has been roughly three months since I had a roast beef sandwich at Arby's. This one hit the spot. I loved my curly friesl, too. The Oreo bites are here for a limited time. You must get them. They are essentially Oreo donuts with cream filling. It's crack, I tell ya! So delicious. They come warm. It has been ages since I stepped into an Arby's that had a dispensing area for your Arby's and horsey sauces. I enjoyed using it -- perhaps too much if someone were observing me. I liked being here. The atmosphere was relaxed. The washroom was clean and nicely stocked. I have no complaints. There is plenty of parking all around the restaurant. If I am around the area again, I'd stop by here in a heartbeat (155)

Why don't they have Arby's in Toronto?? :( Anyway, I go to this Arby's everytime I pass by Burlington just because I love their roast beef sandwiches. Today I got one of their new menu items: Oreo Bites. Served warm. Just 6 pieces of sugary goodness for just $3.49. Really good, but really really sweet. Food is always good and consistent. Their sliders are cheap and great for a quick small snack. Friendly service. Over-all clean restaurant. It's always a must when I visit this area.

Went today for the 2 for $8 Bacon Beef N Cheddars. Very good and quite a good sized sandwich. Great deal for less the $10.

Arby's chicken club with curly fries.. Was actually very tasty!

I love the name of this Oakville establishment, the Sandwich Society, however I did not like their…read moresandwiches quite as much. Let me preface by saying that their OG The David sandwiches are not bad. The focaccia bread was nice, and the sauce is solid where they didn't overdo the truffle flavours. What they however overdid was the prosciutto. Sometimes in life, less is more. They just went 'ham' with layers upon layers of what tasted like the cheap San Daniele prosciutto (according to the website they used ones produced by local Niagara farmers), where in parts of the sandwich that didn't have the mozzarella cheese, the sandwich was inedible because it was so salty. By eating the entire sandwich, I would have exceeded the entire week's sodium intake. By the end, I had to throw a quarter of the sandwich out since it was so heavy and salty. Had they invested in higher quality prosciutto and included just two or three layers of it, it would have been a pretty good sandwich. I remember, outside the restaurant they said something along the lines of if someone ate a sandwich from Sandwich Society, he/she would not regret it like their EXs. But after having one, I experienced a certain degree of buyer's remorse. Remember, "we don't eat sandwiches because we are hungry. We eat sandwiches because we are members of a Foodie app called Yelp."

The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for lunch or a quick bite. Definitely one of the best sandwich shops in Oakville, I'll be coming back for sure, appreciate the warm hospitality again. Thank you.

Staff are pleasant and always and WILLING to listen which is a rarity in the Hospitality Industry. I know I spent 40 years in the business in all different capacities. Operations, training to franchising. With AI having an impact in all businesses especially the banking and food service business, there is no hint of any staff cutbacks at Denningers. The complete opposite impact is prevalent. The food is always fresh from the kitchen at the sit down restaurant where schnitzels, sour kraut, bockwurst, potato fries are made to order from a very nice sized menu but simple enough to not confuse customers. Latte's are also available as well as tea and assortment of cold drinks. Seating area is large enough to seat 100 people easily and lunch time is packed. Outdoor seating is available and so is a beer with your meal. The retail store has a bakery, butcher for all your meats, cold cuts and cheeses and lots of sampling takes place during the week. The store is immaculately clean and spacious washrooms are available for those trips after consuming a cafe or an alcoholic beverage. Great place to complete some paperwork while enjoying a latte. I am so glad that the Denningers has only improved over the years and they are pillars of the community in Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville. Having moved to Calgary for 22 years I missed my visits to Denninger's and their high quality foods. Bravo Denningers of Burlington Mall you have me as a customer for life!

Nice and clean inside, the staff was friendly and very helpful with the menu. I decided to get a karaage side dish and a bbq pulled pork sandwich. The fried chicken was nicely seasoned and complimented with the mayo dip. The bbq pulled pork was very tasty but was a bit messy to eat with the sauce and the bun. Overall, I think this place is good and would love other things on the menu especially their milkshakes.

Mind you the reviews were all old over a year ago. Since COVID I do noticed most restaurants quality post COVID has gone down. Ambiance: It's pretty small with a few tables. Decor is pretty cute and modern. Also super clean with one unisex washroom. You order at the counter and seat yourself like a fast food place. Service: Service was good. The lady took our order and the food came pretty quick. We also got there at 1:30pm so it was empty. Food: We ordered a easy as pie milkshake which is like you apple pie in a milkshake! Pretty cool idea. The pics on the website looks great. However in reality it didn't look like the website pic at all. Just white milkshake. There are tiny chunks of apple/ cookies and a hint of cinnamon. But overall tasteless and not sweet. It's was like I was drinking ice milk with some texture. I was not impressed. We only took a couple of sips and it left a weird after taste so we didn't end up finishing it To share we got the Kimchi poutine. It was essentially fries that were not that crispy soaked with Kimchi and some mayo on top. It was ok a little underwhelming. The 3 sandwiches we got were different so we can try them all: 1. Sriracha honey Karaage chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit soggy maybe from the sauce. The bun was fresh. The lettuce inside was a bit wilted. 2. Pho beef banh mi sandwich. The beef was a bit dry and the banh mi was tasteless with no flavour 3. Bbq pull pork sandwich. It was sweet and flavourful but again too much sauce made the sandwich a bit soggy. Pricing is fair. But probably won't come back. For $50 I can get better food elsewhere.
