This smash burger joint is mainly set up for takeout. There are a few bar-style tables with stools along the window storefront, but seating is pretty limited, and I don't recall seeing a bathroom. So it's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot, unless you have a small group. The service was very friendly and clear. The kitchen is right behind the counter, so you can actually see the team working together efficiently. Even on a Friday night when there was a ton of takeout orders coming in, they stayed organized. That said, be prepared to wait a bit, this isn't "fast" fast food when they're busy. Shoutout to whoever was DJ for the night! Great music choice that made the wait more enjoyable. The fries were my favorite part! They're pretty thick cut but still crispy on the outside. The cookies and cream milkshake was good, but it tasted a little too milky for me. And, if you happen to order a burger with a friend, you may be thinking to yourself do we need two sides of fries? I would state that you do not. I finally got a chance to try Rosie's after seeing all the hype on social media and was pleasantly surprised that they have a location in Mississauga. It's located right in the heart of Port Credit, so it's the usual parking situation for the area (big lots either by the library or near the lake). The restaurant can be easy to miss, but you'll see the ground and it becomes easy to spot. Storefront is small with a few chairs inside and some patio seating outside. It gives a quick serve burger joint vibe where you see everything being cooked on the flat top. Service was top-notch overall, they informed us it might take a bit longer with the big crowd but it went by pretty quickly still. For the food, the spicy chicken sando was the highlight, with really good breading and spicy sauce. The Rosie had a the lacy edges I look for in a smash burger, but felt it was a bit one note (will likely try the classic next time). Had this place bookmarked for awhile and she did not disappoint! I decided to go H.A.M and basically order everything I wanted to try at once. I'm not a burger girl but my bf loves them. I know they're just some simple crinkle fries but the way they cook them is perfect. It's crispy on the outside (not hard!) and pillowy soft on the inside. Nicely salted too. As you may have already heard or suspected the banana pudding is the star of the show. Not too sweet, fresh pieces of banana evenly distributed. *chefs kiss* It's that graham cookie crumble that pulls it all together. You need that slight crunch for a different texture and they nail this. I haven't stopped thinking about it since. The lemonade was good but I think it would've hit harder if I was outside on a hot day. The cookie was a great texture. I can see these being amazing fresh out the oven. I don't particularly like sea salt on my cookies but it was just a little, so it didn't bother me too much. It was nice and chewy on the inside and I liked that it was milk chocolate. Just ordered Rosie's on uber eats and felt compelled to write this review - hopefully the owner will take the constructive feedback. 1. The burger had way too much sauce. It was haphazardly globbed on so much so I had to scrape most of it off with a spoon. Had I not done that it would have been impossible to hold. And. 2. The first and last time I'll eat at Rosie's Burgers Calgary. I went there this afternoon and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Apparently they're supposed to smash their burgers? The smashburger preparation method (Google if you're you're unfamiliar) has become a trend in recent years. One of the reasons for this is to help ensure proper cooking. The other is to speed up cooking time. That being said, have a look at this photo. Unsmashed, with raw hamburger! Doesn't this place realize that by serving raw hamburger there's a potential for E coli, causing severe illness, and sometimes death? Ultimately I hold the ill-informed owner and manager responsible. They need to educate themselves, and train their staff in proper food handling and preparation, and not send raw hamburger meat out the door. How low has the bar been set in Canada that we allow persons who lack common sense and basic food preparation knowledge ownership of a franchise? Don't they realize how serious this is? I don't care how they try to justify it, the owners, management, and staff are not properly trained. If they were, I would not have received a raw hamburger, and I would not feel the need to post here. It's a good thing I was eating in a well-lit area, and after two or three bites, I noticed the meat was raw. 1 hour later, I really hope I don't get sick! A word of advice for anyone eating at this place, be sure to to eat your Rosie's burger in a well lit environment! Hands down one of the best smash burger spots in Mississauga! The only downfall is that It's a small storefront that's easy to miss, with limited side parking. Since the store is small, it gets crowded pretty quickly. However, food wise? Amazing. Service? Quick yet attentive. Patties are seasoned to perfection, crispy on the edges but moist in the middle, and always fresh! The buns also don't get soggy fast so that's a bonus. They added some chicken items to their menu recently but honestly, not the biggest fan. I found the popcorn chicken to be wayy too salty, the chicken was dry, and the breading was tough. The burger is, meh. Just OK. On a positive note, it's a smash burger made fresh to order. On a negative note, it's a small patty, smashed very thinly, and burned to a crisp. The bun is a generic Martin's potato roll you get in any grocery store. The fries are also meh. Very average and super greasy. The place is small and uninspired. Inside there are a handful of stalls and outside a couple of benches right on the sidewalk in the searing heat. The place seems somewhat unkempt. But my main complaint is about the cleanliness. It's one of my pet peeve when employees handle the food without gloves, especially right after handling the cash register. After seeing Rosie's pop up on my Instagram numerous times, I caved and got it since I was in the area. I ordered the single burger ($8), fries ($4) and a coke ($2). For the price, I was expecting more (size wise) to be completely honest. The food was definitely fresh so that's a huge factor. Let's start with the fries.. they were a huge letdown. It seems like they were over cooked or double cooked? They were bland, too crispy, and majority were hollow...?? Look at my photos for reference. I would not repurchase these. The single burger was really good! Definitely makes up for the fries. The burger had a great crisp to it, as it's a smash burger, but still tender and juicy. Simplicity and a good burger go hand in hand. I have never been a fan of loaded burgers with unnecessary toppings and sauce. Rosie burger has definitely got it right-a solid 4.5 stars. If you were to ask me their burgers and fries are a 10/10. Starting off with the burger bun which was superb-soft fresh yet didn't break apart. The patty was juicy and flavorful topped with the basic toppings along with their homemade sauce which doesn't overpower the patty and you can still taste the meat and it's richness. I got a single this time around maybe next time I'll try their double. The fries are thicker and go great with the burger. I also tried their vanilla shake it was ok I felt it needed a bit more sugar. A 7/10. I ordered the food over the phone-the customer service was great the gentleman who take my order was friendly and courteous. The order came out in a timely manner. As soon as I walked in I can smell the burgers being cooked it was a very nice greeting as I walk through the door I ordered the double patty and then I got a side of fries as well as well as a side of pickle. The burger is delicious I loved the flavor I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of smash burgers but if I had to have a smashburger this is definitely one of the top choices. The flavor reminded me of those old mom and pop shops that you used to get burgers from when you were a child in the '90s. I didn't care for the fries I found them to be dry maybe if I had gotten a poutine it would have taste better because it would have sucked up the flavor of the cheese in the gravy but by themself they were not that great. The pickle yum yum yum it was crunchy, salty it was the perfect pickle if you are a pickle fan and definitely splurge and get that side of pickle! I only recently found out about Rosie's Burgers and it is definitely one of the best burger joints in Mississauga. The burger joint is a small restaurant with a small seating area. So, I like getting their burgers to go and enjoy it at home instead. They are also super quick with their service and I got my burgers within 10 minutes of ordering it! I had to go all out and get the double Patties of course. I also added a side of fries to share too. The crispy and juicy smash patty is paired with their soft burger buns. I absolutely loved their secret sauce in their burgers as well. The fries are fried with a crispy outer layer with a soft interior; fried to perfection. They also have a great LUNCH DEAL: Single Patty, Fries and Can of Pop for $10 between 11am - 3pm on Monday to Friday. They even have some cute merchandises for sale as well! The milkshake tasted like more milk than strawberry, but again it was okay. Overall, the food was what you'd expect and cured the craving for an all American meal but honestly for 27 dollars? One thing that really hiked down the rating to the 3 star was when a customer walked in without his mask and the workers said nothing and chatted with him for 10 minutes.
