    Entrance and menu.

Pros: tasty curly fries and vanilla milkshake. Tip: From 2PM-5PM there is a dollar menu available that includes: -ANY slider -Small Shake (chocolate, vanilla, jamocha) -Small Drink -Small Fries Cons: Everything else. The bathroom was very dirty. There were fruit flies all over the sink and there were used paper towels on the floor. My Bacon Swiss Cheddar Chicken sandwich was cold. The chicken did not taste fresh. It was sloppily made. The Beef and Cheddar sandwich had so little beef I thought the sandwich was empty when I opened the packaging. The salted caramel cookie was not warm. And after I asked for it be warmed up, it tasted old and stale. It was way too sweet for my liking. The soda machine sprayed water down my arm when I was filling my cup up with High C. It was just a negative experience over all. Not worth my money and I honestly should have asked for a refund. Highly disappointed.

Got into Philly and heading to Delaware, found this spot based on reviews. Did not disappoint!…read more Service was great, prices were not bad and most important, the food was delicious! It had that welcoming, hometown vibe where everyone seemed comfortable, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about the food and the people they were serving. I've had Italian subs all over the country and this one is honestly the best I've ever had. Fresh bread, quality meats, crisp toppings, and everything perfectly balanced. Nothing flashy, just an incredible sandwich made the right way. The biggest compliment I can give is that before heading to the airport to fly back to California, I made sure to stop here one more time. I knew I'd regret leaving without one last Italian sub and I even bought a shirt as a souvenir. If you're anywhere nearby, don't overthink it. This is one of those rare places that lives up to the hype. Great food, great people, and the kind of hometown atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been coming here for years!

After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try…read more Upon entering, the restaurant is small and casual, with plush black booths lining the leftmost wall and tables seating up to 2-4 people sitting by the window. The walls are red with a black wainscoting paneling and framed pictures, sconces, and a small wine rack can be found on the red part of the wall. The ordering counter is also nearby and has a display case with pizza pies in it. We were immediately seated after arriving and ordered the following: Medium holiday veggie pizza, which has mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, ricotta, green peppers, and diced tomatoes. We didn't realize that the pizza didn't have red sauce but we still liked it. Hubs said that he needs to read the menu closer next time when ordering pizza. This wasn't the first time we accidentally got a no sauce pizza. LOL. Daughter and I shared Vongole, which is linguini tossed with 12-15 little neck clams with your choice of white or red sauce. She chose red sauce. We also got a choice of soup and she chose pasta fagioli. She liked the clams and said that the entree was nice and saucy. I prefer white clam sauce, though. So, I will try that next time. Fried calamari- calamari golden fried squid with side of homemade sauce. I liked that the calamari wasn't breaded. This is my favorite type of calamari. We should've ordered linguini on the side and this was Hubs' favorite dish of the night. The place filled up quickly after we arrived. Hubs had been wanting to try Italian food in Delaware. This place is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. We were expecting it to be a fancy restaurant when we saw the exterior and were pleasantly surprised that it was a pizzeria. The place felt very homey and we loved it. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return when in the area to try other items on the menu!

We've enjoyed their pasta and pizza, and the garlic knots are a must. It can be hard to get a table during peak hours and there isn't really room to wait inside. If you have a choice of booths, I'd recommend heading toward the back, as it's further from the takeout pickup area and the front can get chilly during the cooler months from the door being opened frequently. Additionally, they have wine though it's a limited selection.

Five stars honestly doesn't feel like enough…read more Boro Cafe catered breakfast for a meeting I attended in Delaware, and I am still thinking about their cheese danish a month later. And I need to be clear, I am a pastry girl. I have eaten my fair share of danishes. This was something completely different. The pastry was unbelievably flaky and layered, with this slightly crisp, almost crunchy outside and what tasted like the lightest glaze over it. Then you get to the cheese filling and somehow the whole thing is just perfect. The textures together were ridiculous. I genuinely remember taking the first bite and thinking, what IS this magical delight?! It may sound dramatic, but it was one of the most delightful things that has ever touched my lips. I cannot understand how these pastries are coming out of this little cafe in Delaware and aren't being shipped worldwide. Boro Cafe, PLEASE figure out nationwide shipping because I would happily have a box show up at my door. I'm writing this review a month after the summit, and I still wake up some mornings wishing I had access to that cheese danish. If you are anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and go get one. And then eat another one for me.
