Great Hoagie! I will be back for a cheesesteak next! Augie and crew are awesome! I am taking some back to San Diego in a few days! I was born and raised in Delco, and have been missing great Hoagie, and Cheesesteaks! Love this place! 10 Stars!!!

The originators of the Italian Hoagie! Awesome story and phenomenal hoagie. Meats, cheese, and veggies sliced fresh for each sandwich. Augie D. and his Staff were very friendly and the place was jamming. It's clean inside and there were even a few tables to eat at inside.

WOW! You have to try this third generation steak shop! My husband and I stopped by after we landed in PHL. Easy to get to off 95, the sweetest and friendly owners, everything made custom to order. The quality of the steak is amazing! I am gluten free so got it without the bun but it's not missing any flavor! My husband got the works & he didn't make a peep while chowing down. They have a great selection of chips & drinks too! Will be back next trip!!!

Vibes are Breaking Bad meets PA suburbs. Can't believe I've been eating Italian hoagies without hot or sweet peppers. Really good.

Found Dicostanza Sandwich on Yelp and it was beyond great. A small Italian was nearly a foot. Compared to a Subway there is no comparison. The man that greeted me, made my sandwich and later came out to clean tables and asked me how it was is actually a 3rd generation grandson of the founder nearly 100 years ago. Price was reasonable for a lunch and when you compare the quality and amount of sandwich meat there is no way to brag enough about this place.

Best chicken cheesesteak I ever had. I've had many others from top spots, but this one is easily the best.

At least they have a good variety of soft drinks. Its more drinks next to here.

Oh no, I did not forget to post my review on DiConstanza's, just been a little busy but now that I have more than enough time to express the experience I had...Disappointing. Always heard about their hoagies being so good and even when I pulled up to the shop I seen alot of ppl going in and out so you would assume that either "Yes, their still good" or they'll always be good by the looks of the traffic of customers. Ordered a small Italian hoagie which I have to say was a decent size for $8 and a little change. Smelled good and all but the first thing I noticed, the presentation was off. The hoagie looked like anybody could throw it together, wasn't looking appetizing. Ordered my usual Italian over the phone just so it could be quicker since it was always said it could take a while if ordering in the store. Extra mayonnaise, light onion, oil and oregano. Know that it was heard over the phone loud and clear cause my order was repeated to me and I confirmed. The best thing off this hoagie was probably the roll it was on cause it was soft, would be real good if the rest wasn't trash. My first bite wasn't impressing. The next bite wasn't then the next and so on. Kept biting trying to taste EXTRA MAYO but their was NONE at all. Honestly the onions were okay too I forgot to mention but the hoagie is basic as hell and taste like a grocery store could made a better one. Overall, no I wouldn't recommend this spot for a hoagie unless you or somebody's struggling with starvation. Maybe it was hype about here or they've lost their touch but I know Im really unimpressed and had way better. My first and last trip here Im sorry. Not even given them another try for a Turkey and cheese and that's not even hard to make. DiConstanza's appreciate the loyal customers you have cause after that performance I don't see how it's that many. Oh yeah I gave them 3 stars but it's really for 2 cause I just wanted to make sure this review is posted along with the good reviews cause lower star reviews aren't shown with the others.

    Italian Sub!! Just awesome!!
    Natasha L.

Oh my!!!! One of the best subs I have had in my life!! I just started a new job in the area and was advised to try this place for a good sub and cheesesteak. They were right! I ordered 2 Italian subs and 2 cheesesteaks. The place is a staple in Delco and is well known. The service was fast and the price reasonable. The Italian Sub was soo good!! Full of meat and spiced perfectly! Cheesesteak was good as well. Word to the wise, get the smaller size if you are ordering for yourself!! The portions are HUGE AND THEY ARE GENEROUS WITH THE MEAT. Just writing this up I wanna cheesesteak from there.

We took a 30 minute drive from Newark Delaware to check this place out. 20 inch subs were $20+ each. We got the honey turkey sub and it was pretty well packed, seasoned well and tasted really good. Only critique is it had too much oil on it, don't save the other half for lunch next day or the bread will be soaked. Unless you like that. BBQ chicken cheesesteak, while very tasty, had alot less meat than expected. It's not cheap, at all, but I wouldn't come back for that. I can't complain too much as it was seasoned well and they didn't go overboard on the sauce. For over $20 they could have put more meat on it. Staff was friendly, was greeted a couple times. This place is super convenient off exit 2 on I-95 North, can't miss it. They have your normal cold drinks, chips and Tastycakes but no salads (that I saw) or other cold snacks. I definitely want to try their Italian sub but not a cheesesteak as I don't think it's worth it. Cold sub 4.5/5 Hot sub 3.5/5 Staff 5/5

Was here for the first time in a while and was not disappointed. The Italian sub was meaty and the vegetables were plentiful. Be sure to order in advance.

Every sandwich I have ever had was on point. However, I must get used to having a hoagie without lettuce.

They don't have a menu (except for party trays) so you make up what you want and voila. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially for their young age. The young man who made our food said, "I hope you like it," when he handed them off to us, which was very thoughtful. It shows pride in good work, which is really appreciated. Meats were decent and fresh, rolls fresh too. I was told I'd get a 12" roll for $5.50, which would have been an amazing deal, and I was all ready to rave about the deal on Yelp, but what I got was only an 8" roll, which, in light of my anticipation, was kind of disappointing, but for $5.50 it was still a good deal for the quality of deli meats. The store was clean and tidy. There was a dining area if you wants to eat in, and typical selection of tastykakes, chips, drinks, etc. that come with the deli atmosphere. Typical old school corner store.

Unfortunately, the experience was kind of a mixed bag. I stopped in on Mother's Day and they were really overwhelmed. I'm keeping that in mind for this review. While still giving my experience and feedback. I had ordered ahead but still ended up waiting 40 minutes past my pickup time. That would have been more understandable if the food came out hot and fresh, but the fries had clearly been made earlier and left to the side, so they were cold by the time I got them. You know those sad limp fries that should've been amazing? Yeah, those. There were three young ladies behind the counter, each seemingly working their own station but at completely different paces. It caused a bit of a bottleneck where food was just sitting while one person tried to catch up. The phone was ringing nonstop and there wasn't a clear sense of urgency. One staff member kept stopping to text mid sandwich, which, hey, we all have lives, but it really disrupted the flow and made everything slower. If something was going on, communication with the team would've gone a long way. As for the food: My steak sandwich had zero seasoning. I mean none. The only flavor came from the peppers on it. Two hours later, after reheating it in the air fryer and adding salt and pepper, it was decent. My husband had a cold sandwich and enjoyed his more, so I'm guessing results may vary depending on what you order. I didn't rate the service too harshly because it was clear the staff was overwhelmed, not rude. They barely had time to offer a smile, let alone conversation. Still, I gave this spot 4 stars because I see the potential. The menu looks genuinely interesting, the space is nice, and I imagine on a slower day with tighter processes they probably put out some fantastic sandwiches. I'd definitely be willing to give them another try, but next time I'll show up with extra patience and maybe a backup snack just in case.

The owner was sitting at a table chatting with a couple of old veterans. He was nice and very appreciative for my business. They had a TV inside with the midday news on. The menu had a lot to choose from (burgers, steak sandwiches, chicken, roast beef and meatballs to name a few, but I wanted to see what "THE PORK BOSS" theme on the menu's was all about. I ordered the Hot Hooker at $13.75 - Smoked Hot links (think foot long hot dogs), topped with House pulled pork, mild provolone & bacon, topped with Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce. The sandwich was huge. The bread was fresh, pulled pork was a tad dry, but the bbq sauce made up for it. I would have asked for sharper provolone, but I'm not sure if they had it. The bacon was crispy and the hot links provided a nice kick, but lacked the smoke I was looking for. If they make that BBQ sauce homemade and available for purchase I would be a buyer. Overall it was a huge meaty meal of a 'wich and it held together really well! If I'm in the area I'll return for a second round. The menu is well rounded and the staff knows how to put together a sandwich!
