We paid and then waited for our food. We got our waters, Frosties, and a bag of sauces of each variety. And then came our nuggets only instead of the same worker who gave us our waters and Frosties, it was someone who looked like a manager or assistant manager. We drove away assuming everything was correct only to discover we had no straws for our drinks, no spoons for our Frosties, and zero spicy nuggets! I was looking forward to the spicy nuggets! The sauces were for the 25 plain ones that my girlfriend wanted, because she doesn't like spicy nuggets! The worst part is the worker who took my order confirmed the order. The workers who filled my order, one of which I'm fairly certain was in a management position, was too incompetent or had no reading comprehension to understand half spicy/half regular. Admittedly, the screen didn't say half spicy, but special build. However even if thats the wrong term for the front workers to understand, they might question it and it could then be clarified. But considering its 50 regular nuggets, how much context does someone need to understand "special build"? I mean they offer 2 kinds of nuggets... Not like special build means to throw a Baconator in the box of nuggets. I did eat some of the regular nuggets, with sauce of course and had to dirty a spoon for the Frostie. The food was good but the service is why they get 3 stars. Unless they can get their act together, Exit 25 will have 2 incompetent fast food restaurants. (if you're curious, the McDonald's across the way has screwed up my order so many times, I refuse to go back and they are one of the few McDonald's with a play area and I have kids and won't go back). The menu was a little confusing to read since it was a screen that did a continual scrolling. The response was priceless, the young lady looked at me with a smile and said McDonald's no longer has a dollar menu. I think she felt like I couldn't afford anything else so she pointed out a McDouble special that came with a small fry for $3. and she offered me a free cup to get a drink in.
