Stop reading and stop in! You can thank me later…read more Food: I had the baked stuffed jalapeños for an appetizer. Such a unique mix of ingredients that compliment so well. Slight crunch, soft pimento. Delicious! Bulgogi- sandwich was for lunch. It was insane!!! Packed with sweet flavor and the toasted bun was perfect. I added fresh jalapeños for that sweet heat! Miso sesame ahi tuna- my buddy had this, and I almost ate half haha. It was amazing. Super shocked how fresh tuna was in Wisconsin! Service: Aaliegha was amazing! Super sweet and such a fun personality. Sit at the bar and chat her up! Ambiance: They did incredible with this place! I know the owners and these girls have busted their butts on this place and it shows. Hands down best food in Fond Du Lac. I used to live here and I travel all over, this is top notch! You ladies overdid yourself here!

Our server was pretty hands off and encouraged us to use the QR code on the table for ordering, but was present for questions and needs after the food arrived. The truffle cheese curds were phenomenally seasoned and more of a fried bite. The goat cheese flatbread was good at first, but very heavy on the goat cheese. I'm a lover of goat cheese, but it was way too overpowering. I wasn't able to finish! Overall, we had a good experience and I would just select another entree next time!

This place is a cross between a bar and a sandwich shop. Half the menu consists of deep fried starters, burgers and the requisite Friday fish fry, the other half has a great selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. We ordered adult beverages and they arrived fairly quickly. Even though it was Friday, we turned down the fish special and opted for soup and sandwiches. We both ordered the French onion soup. It was excellent. My order was for soup and the half sandwich special with a cheeseburger as my sandwich. This was a great option for me as the regular menu cheeseburgers is 1/2 lb which is way too big for me. One of my husband's favorite sandwiches is a Reuben. The caveat being it has to be on dark rye, not marble rye. Friar Tuck made his day serving up a meaty corned beef Rueben with Swiss cheese and sauerkraut on dark rye with a side of thousand island dressing. Both sandwiches came with carrot and celery sticks with a side of ranch dip. Nice touch! We will stop here again the next time we're in town.

The inside is wonderfully retro with faux medieval touches and rolly Naugahyde chairs from the 80's. The servers still wear uniforms (unflattering mini-monk dresses) and they still have an old school comment box - take that Yelp! The menu is simple - sandwiches, soup and a few fried apps. It's really cheap and the portions are hearty. They give you veggies and dip instead of chips so it's healthy I guess. I had a nice hot roast beef sandwich served on a nice toasted roll with au jus. Two thumbs up from me. Service was fast & friendly too. Lunch was $25 for 2 including drinks - definitely a great value.

I chose to get the Spotted Cow without the meat patty, it was amazing! My boyfriend got it with the meat patty and thought it was great as well. I also loved the Magic Mike drink, that was recommended to me by a friend. It was fruity and I was unable to taste the alcohol. I love that they handmade their chips and they're not super crunchy. The resturant was calm and had a pleasant atmosphere! We will definitely return!

As soon as you walk in, the bar and restaurant is lively with a good vibe, so I had high hopes. Our server was great, very personable. But the food was subpar at best. We started with the Fire Cracker Shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were frozen cheap shrimp tossed in a little sauce with soggy coleslaw on the bottom. I would be embarrassed to serve that appetizer. The Spotted Cow burger sounded amazing but the burger is a frozen burger with no seasoning and it was not juicy at all. The homemade potato chips were greasy and soggy. I have never had chips like that, ick. The green pepper soup was ok. It may have been homemade, I am not sure but I was so turned off by the other food I could not eat it. Such a waste of money. There are food & drink specials posted all over. My guess is that they are hurting. Plus parking is terrible.
