These guys are a cut above the rest. TJ and company are absolutely amazing. Their response time and attention to detail are unmatched. I have been using ARC for our business needs for over 7 years and I've never had an issue. They have even stayed late numerous times to make sure I get my order when stuck in traffic. Last week, I came in with a thumb drive needing certain documents printed but was unable to find what I needed. I used to love this place but the customer service has gone significantly downhill. I made a rush order at noon yesterday, called to tell them it didn't ask for payment info and they said I'd pay when I picked them up. I asked if the plans could get printed that day as I needed them the following morning but they said no. I followed up in the morning to see if they were ready, but they weren't because they said they weren't sure if I still wanted the order and couldn't give me an ETA On when they'd be ready... They called back to say they could be ready by noon- I pushed my meetings to the afternoon. I get to ARC at 1:30 and they say they haven't printed anything because they emailed asking for payment info. WHY NOT CALL ME?! I end up standing at the front desk for over 45 minutes only to get the plans 15 minutes after my meeting started. Absolute shit show. Baseline customer service would entail calling someone when you've already been in touch via phone, and letting someone know it's going to take 40 minutes to print while you stand there. read more

I work for the Marketing Department at Turner Construction in Sacramento. We constantly have last minute printing needs, large printing orders, and difficult/ extensive printing requests. ARC always says yes. There is never a deadline or request that is too difficult or too soon for them. They have a large team who is all on the same page, super helpful, and really good with customer service. Recently I sent in an order for printing at 4:00 PM and needed it by 8:00 AM the next morning. They don't complain or scold when you give them literally the least amount of time and they always produce such HIGH-QUALITY products. We've gotten everything from poster boards, gator boards, photo placemats, 1500 page RFPs, binders, golf course signage, and more. They will ALWAYS be my first call when using a printing company. read more

I needed some project documents copied, and was advised the company I used, had to be "bonded". Not being from the area, I asked for a referral to a local "bonded" photocopy provider, and the Agency I was working with, suggested ARC. I figured, use a local business, for the convenience and shear logistics of it all, and save time and money in doing so. So after explaining what I needed, and who the company had to coordinate it with, I'm thinking I'm going to have my information the very next day, latest. Fast forward three days later, I'm still waiting for an estimate. UG! Hello people, this was supposed to be easy and save time, which it clearly wasn't doing. So I call, get another person, and again, find myself explaining what I was looking for. I'm told, we'll get back to you. I'm thinking, oh no, I've heard this before. But to surprisingly I got a call back the same day! I should have known the Customer Service aspect was a challenge for ARC when I had to follow up more than once, not only the quote, but the job itself. I'm a big believer in Customer Service. It's what makes you come back. So, it's probably a good assumption, I won't be asking ARC for anything in the future! I just don't have the time!! read more

I did, at one point, give Browniew 5 stars, they now have a generous 3 start rating. If you read below I write about how they f'ed up and then fixed the mistake and how i thought that was great...so then I though I could bring in business from the Crocker (pt employer), but they totally messed that one up too. Of course they fixed it, but I've only had two business purposes with them and they made major boo boo's each time, YIKES. Also, the staff is not very well informed on pricing, techniques, etc. I think I would search out someone else before returning... I went to Brownies to get my photographs mounted and ready for framing. Since they are 20"x20" I didn't want to attempt the job myself. They had a few issues with 2 out of 9 prints and gladly reprinted the files and re-mounted them. I appreciated that tremendously as the images are for a show. They are quick and professional and Ebone, from the front of the house is so friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back! read more

I went to ARC Document Solutions to get a print plexiglas mounted and they did a wonderful job. The print looks great, the plexiglas was cut nice and smooth, and they even finished the order a day earlier than scheduled. In addition, I e-mailed them multiple times with various questions before going in and their replies were always prompt and polite. read more

I printed a poster from Brownie's almost 2 years ago and since they did such a good job I decided to bring another order to them. Unfortunately, this print job was not nearly as impressive. First, the document was set up incorrectly and instead of telling me so, they went ahead and printed it. The issue was immediately rectified once I pointed out the obvious error but then the reprint was handed to me with crop marks still on the final cut pages. I had to be the one to point out that blatant flaw and then they fixed that right away. The overall quality of both projects were probably the worst craft I have seen from a professional printer. The edges of the business cards were not straight and there were heavy and distinct ink streaks all across every page of the other project. Not to mention the paper stock was extremely shiny. I would guess this low quality is due to not maintaining their printers. Unfortunately, I had paid for the projects before seeing their quality standard and therefore, was stuck with the purchase. I can say that I will never use their services again and these projects I had printed were thrown away and I found a better quality printer downtown. read more
