They have great sales on the regular priced items as well, 50% off jackets, 40% off sweaters, 30% off dresses, etc etc. The sales staff vary - they are usually very helpful (sometimes too attentive), but on the odd occasion I've never even received so much as a hello. If you're looking for something stylish for the office, or casual for the weekends, and don't want to break the bank - I highly recommend checking out Cleo!

I have tried for months to find just regular pants I can wear to work without having difficulty sitting down/breathing. With the exception of Sears, I've been SOL. Until I finally tried Cleo. They have all kinds of professional wear that won't be mistaken for workout clothes/club wear. The prices are reasonable and I had a very friendly and helpful staff person watch me practically cry with happiness. I nearly bought the place out. My first stop will be Cleo from now on.

Now this is a great product that will stand the test of time. Coats and shells, gloves,hats and even pants that are all designed for the weather. Now is this store pricy? It will cost a few extra bucks but if you think about it over the time that you will maintain the product it is worth it.

Plus they usually carry cute Christmas socks near the holidays. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. NR is one of those stores that always seems to have a good sale on. Some of their just-in items can be a bit pricey, but wait a couple of weeks and they will have a promotion on, I promise. Several years ago there used to be a Northern store geared towards every age group (I can't recall the one for young adults, but the store for children was Northern Getaway). Eventually only the Reflections store was left, which was more for older women. Fortunately they brought in some "younger" fashions and while it wouldn't appeal to teenagers, it does appeal to those who like to wrap themselves in thick sweaters for five months of the year. :-)

I talked to the manufacturer, the afore mentioned, "trusted brand", they declined to address the rip. So I went back to MEC to check on there guarantee. I also queried why the discount had changed from 20 to 25% in less than 24 hours and did they honour that. All said and done seems the shirt was finally sent and is being delivered since my query and no recognition of the additional discount but no problems with a $15 delivery fee and a false arrival date. I took the item off the shelf, and the assistant almost immediately came over to me, took the pull over, and said it will be in the changing room for you to fit on!!! I went to the changing room, please note there was a 7ft man standing at the door too, and I got undress/ dressed, and got out. when I got out of the fitting room the assistant once again said, Let me take that from you, it will be at the counter ready to pay... huh. I still didn't even have these items 2 minutes in my hands!!! when I got to the counter the cashier said, you can just tap your card!!! I will be honest I didn't enjoy this shopping experience at all, I felt like I was put on the spot, and I didn't even know what to make of this! The items I wanted, I got them, but you don't go to super store, and the cashier or assistant doesn't take the items out of your hands and put them at the counter when you are still busy shopping? no they don't, so why does these assistants do that? total amount was $218 for a 9 min shopping experience, it wasn't about the money, but you want to enjoy the experience of retail therapy, and this was not great. if you don't want customer to see, feel, and roam the store, then you should only have an online store!

The first thing that hit me when I walked in was a wonderful sent of tangerine, at least I think that is what it was, the smell was heaven. This place was packed today, I know it was a combination of beautiful weather, Spring Garden and March Break. There was no sign of recession in this store. The line went from the cash right to the back of the store. I could not believe it. And no one was blinking an eye at the cost, $58.00 top, $130.00 jacket, $90.00 pants. I do think some people will choke on the prices, but I believe you will get great quality. Either that or half of Halifax has lost their minds, because I have never seen so many people in a store, and no sale going on. The styles and colours here are a step above the others you will find. They had some great selections. There was one jacket I thought was a pretty good price, the $130.00 Rain Jacket.
