I have always loved this store since day one! As my followers know, I love love love a story split out by color. I've seen it with my own eyes on our bus trips that people will buy more and spend more if they can easily find things in size and color order. I know I know... It takes more time blah blah blah, but if you just set it up that way in the first place, it's not that hard to maintain! This store it seems has recently up leveled, it's merchandising... I overheard a woman, introducing herself to someone as the manager... I'm wondering if she is new because the level of cleanliness and orderliness is next level for sure. I never introduce myself when I am just shopping and not on the bus tour! (Shhhh) @thriftinista I have two suggestions for the store... If anyone from @arcthrift out there following me... if there's a way to get some higher tier brands in there... Do it! Although everything is neat, clean, and in order, I would like to see a little bit more Tahari, White House, Black market, Ann Taylor. Another suggestion... Someone needs to have a firm conversation with the grumpy cashier ladies... Seriously... No reason to constantly be sour. Every single time I go in there...grumpy pants! If you hate your job so much, go find another one! read more

Ever wanted to pay full price for things in used/bad condition? Come on down to your local Arc Thrift Store where things are missing half the screws they need and the books are tattered and worn but you get that new feeling by paying full price! read more

Why are the people that unload your car so crabby? I think they need some happy pills. They are rude and so crabby. I won't go there with donations any more. I'll have another thrift store pickup at my home. read more

This place will swindle you! All jewelry is final sale, which is understandable however I purchased an expensive ring, took off the tag in my car, and saw a giant chip hiding under the sticker. I tried to return it and would have been fine with/happy with in store credit, but they refused to take it back. Folks, Check under stickers because they over price things and hide their flaws with them. Literally bought it and tried to return it a minute later. Wow. It's very disappointing to feel taken advantage of at a charity shop. What a trash establishment. I'd rather give 25 bucks to a junky if I knew this is how i'd get treated. read more

Wanda the manager was very unhelpful. After waiting for close to 10 minutes to get someone to help us price something, she first sends the worker to go help someone move a couch all the way across the store and tells us to wait. When we say screw it and go up front to check out without the items the cashier asks why we didn't have the item, and then mentions that she can get Wanda to price it really quickly. So Wanda was just lazy and not doing her job. She literally went to the front of the store to chit chat so she clearly did not have something else to do. Will avoid this ARC from now on because of Wanda. read more

I am very disappointed in them for it being a senior discount day and all stickers are half off except for the yellow once a person gets up tp pay. It happened to three of us the same day yesterday April 6, 2021. Not one world was mentioned on any poster about yellow stickers. But should have known by all the yellow stickers that were on the products. They have lost my business for sure if one cannot be honest enough with advertising it hurts the children. read more

I like this location.  I am glad that Brighton finally has a decent size thrift store!  The prices on books are really high.  Many of the local mom & pop thrift stores or even Goodwill have books at 50 cents or a dollar at the most.  All books at Arc are $1.99 and up.  I feel like all that I grab are $2.99 or $3.49 so I try to mainly shop on Saturdays during the half off sales.  I get anything from shoes to shirts to skinny jeans here for both my daughter and myself.  All great prices!!  The books are the only thing that I think are WAY overpriced. The place if fairly clean for having as much inventory as they do.  One other thing I don't like is their limit at the dressing room.  It is 5 items or something like that.  Even when the store has barely anyone in it they enforce it.  I generally have about 15-20 items and go through them very quickly trying them on...just stinks to have to get dressed again to go out and grab another 5 each time. read more

Generally helpful staff and clean / organized store. Well, As organized as a thrift store can be anyway. Love their Saturday 1/2 off sales.

The very worst!!!! The gentleman at the front door is wonderful. The ladies, for lack of a better word , at the check out were beyond rude. Spoke in Spanish complaining about another customer that was in the dressing room. Took 3 of them to stand there and gripe. Then made me walk to other end to check out. read more
