Saw this store driving through town. The prices seemed fair, but like any thrift store, you need to know your prices. They had a good selection of wall art, some furniture and lots of everything else. Hubby found a pair of cargo shorts for $7. They are hard to find so he was happy. It's nice that they have dressing rooms. Lots of parking. read more

I walked over to this thrift store from across the river where I was staying for a work training. The store is really big and had a lot to look at. The prices of some stuff were just a little higher than I like to pay but I still found some stuff to purchase. If I didn't have to walk and get on an airplane I would have loved to pick up some of the larger items they had there like a sewing machine and a cool old fashioned hamper. I liked how they had the baby clothes arranged by size on the back wall. The store was pretty clean except for some random drink cups people left on shelves (do better people!). The staff was really nice when checking me out and accommodated my request for a bag with handles for walking back to my hotel. read more

This is a review of their donation ops, and I'm sad to deliver it. These guys have been great for years. They pick up stuff in front of your house, and it all helps the community. The other day I left a large plastic bag of clothes on one of my folding card table chairs out front, using the chair to keep the bag off a wet sidewalk. I've done the same thing for years, but this time my chair went with the bag. I thought 'no big deal,' and I'll give them a call to get it back. Day One: Leave a message on their donation line explaining this issue with all my info. No call back during the rest of business hours. Day Two: Call again the next morning. Get the name of the manager who receives donations. She's genuinely concerned, friendly, and promises to call me right back after she looks in to it. Apparently, they have just hired new pick-up drivers. No call back. Day Three: I call back the next morning and get the same lady on the phone, after being on hold for over 5 minutes. She's not even close to being as friendly as the day before; insisted she told someone to call me (they didn't), and basically said they came to the conclusion that the chair must have been stolen from in front of my house and they were not responsible. In a word... Really? We live in a nice neighborhood with no history of property crimes, and I fail to see why the 'alleged' perp who committed this act would have taken just a lone card table chair, and not taken the several expensive fishing poles leaning on my garage door 10 feet away, or my neighbor's expensive ladder which sat 30 feet away. I really have to question the ARC's judgement on this conclusion. I certainly don't want to hurt those who need the support the ARC gives to our community, but after 15 years of donating, we will no longer provide any more. And yes, I suppose I was foolish for using the chair to keep the bag off the wet ground, and trusting that it would remain as always--but in the end--it's hard to want to help them any further after this unsatisfactory customer service experience... Very unprofessional crew.....I needed to open a couple of bags to confirm the contents and was then accused of stealing and "stuffing bags to get more items"....at 5.99 a bag , I don't need to do that.! Great store! I got a 7ft Christmas tree for my dad from here, and they helped me disassemble it and get it into my car. They also offer a student discount every day on all items. Oh and their books are on a fabulous sale, I got two textbooks for 99 cents a pop! Highly recommend checking this place out if you like to thrift shop read more

I have been here a couple of times. Sometimes, there are incredible unique pieces and other times, I walk away empty handed. I suppose that is just about any thrift store, though. The one reason this place gets the rating I gave it was because they often just have broken junk on the shelves and I think thier prices are a tad high. Other than that, it can be a thrifting adventure here! I do love what the charity does for the community, though, so that's why I keep coming back to see if it's a goldmine day or not. read more

I'm in Spokane visiting so my friend asked if I have ever been to the Ark Thrift store. I have not. The store is huge mostly filled with clothes. Along the perimeter is all the hardline goods. Which I'm more interested in. This place may not be the best place to purchase items for resale. The store seems to do some research and marks up accordingly. However if you are purchasing for yourself. You probably won't get a better deal. I I did find two items that I think I can flip. Making an okay profit. Also the store in my opinion has the worst lighting. read more

My first visit to the store was great...I got some good stuff...I bought a green leather chair it was vintage...I asked if they would come down a little on the price and the gentleman did...all the employees are very nice...they all aked if I needed help out to my car to load up the chair... definitely looking forward to my next visit...the only thing I was bummed about was this beautiful bouquet of flowers... perfectly put together that wasn't for sale...I figured it was part of the store decor...but I still asked...the cashier was super friendly...it was a good experience... Have been to the arc thrift store in Orange County where I'm from and this was one of my favorite local thrift spots. The pricing is amazing and they always donate to a good cause and are helping out locally and in the community. I got two things while shopping in here and I am picky. One of them was a super cute turquoise vintage shirt and the other one was a vintage sweatshirt that said Amsterdam Holland on it. Both were amazing and unique, so I went ahead and bought them, and also there was the fact that I knew I would never be able to find these same items anywhere else ever again. This was an okay thrift shop! It's a huge warehouse where CompUSA used to be. I always check out framed art and theirs seemed to be reasonably priced. Kitchen stuff didn't look too junky. Their electronics section was kinda janky the day I went in and sporting goods left something to be desired. Just my two cents. I'd go back though! Who doesn't love thrifting!? read more

A decent sized thrift store with a variety of things from household goods, furniture to clothing and shoes. We love to thrift store shop and this is by far one of the best in town. The prices are VERY reasonable (unlike the V.V. Thrift store) and they always are having 50% sales. We went in just to browse. My wife ended up buying 2 old school Barbara Streisand records... FOR 50 CENTS EACH!!! Amazing! She was so excited with her find.:) Of course, as with any thrust store, some days are hit and miss depending on what you are interested in. Their furniture selection is fairly decent too. Went in about 6 months ago and found a brand new love seat for $35.. It was exactly the color, material, size we were looking for. Such a great find! Also found those U shaped body pillows (which are heavenly) brand stinkin new, for around $10 They have a shopping incentive card, if you spend $10 you get a stamp and after so many purchases you get $$ off! This Thrift Store took over the giant vacant building just north of downtown (nestled basically on the campus of Gonzaga University). They have a nice selection of clothes and household kitchen supplies. Tons of easy access parking and convenient dressing rooms. Proceeds go to support the http://www.arc-spokane.org/ so that is rad! read more

Great selection of items and fair prices. The entire store as well as bathroom was very clean and the store was organized. They have several dressing rooms to try things on. The staff is great, helpful and kind. They often have sales on certain colored tags. When I went I got a shirt originally priced at $5.99 for only $0.99 because all yellow tags were $0.99. I was told they have discounts for military and senior citizens, it may be certain days these discounts are done but if those apply to you be sure to check into them! read more

They tape their games shut so you can't tell most of the pieces are missing. At Halloween, they had Halloween items marked 75% off. Even though I had several items marked $2 or $1 the clerk would not give 75% off. He said "no we are making it all 99 cents. He wasn't smart enough to understand that 75% off my items was cheaper than that. read more

I was thrown off the property the last time I was planning on stopping by to enjoy a little time looking through my favorite thrift store in the whole area..... I was rudely told to leave as soon as I entered the store by a very angry checker woman with huge wrinkles in her whole face, she was literally 2 inches away from my face with her screaming and disrespect for me. I was not offered any sort of professional explanation after respectively responding and exiting the property of the store. I am respectful to the request of the business to not return to their property and definitely not after how that employee embarrassed me totally, just think I should be able to face my accuser and accusation thus accused of me in the reasons why I was removed to begin with. Not sure still today and it has been almost six months since the attack at the Arc thrift store happened.... I really did enjoy that place over all. read more

When I first found the Arc thrift store I thought it was great! That was early 2015. The store was clean, well kept, lots of things to choose from, smelled nice and great prices! Well...as I understand it there was a change in some main person in the back.....the store now smells musty, it's not organized and well kept, the prices are as much as new things MUCH OF THE TIME, the workers don't seem as happy, and the stock is really low! I understand they sell large lots to other stores rather than stock their store. Interesting way to run a thrift store. Whoever this new person is....THEY NEED TO GO! read more

I was very disappointed by the girl who came to pick up some household items. She told me I hadn't packaged some of the items in the correct way, grilled me harshly about one item as if it was broken (it wasn't), refused to take another item in perfectly good condition ("we already have too many of those") and said I should have told them ahead of time about the amount I was donating (I had). Just a bad day for her. I'm looking for another donation charity. read more
