I called everywhere and the going rate is about 80 including the surgical steel earrings. You could go super cheap and risk infection or worse, by going to Claire's as some friends had done but that wasnt going to happen. State Street not only had a reasonable fee of 60 but they could do it the same day so long as we had her birth certificate. Minors can't be pierced without a parent or guardian present and they were sticklers for official docs. I consider myself conservative when it comes to piercings and tattoos so it was awkward to have my daughter surrounded by young adults covered in ink and metal and I secretly wished it wouldn't influence her later in life. But everyone was super nice to us. She was escorted to the back and walked through the whole process so she knew exactly what to expect. Our piercer was beyond professional. He took his time answered all of our questions as well as detailed how she needed to take care of her new ears. This is hands down the place to go if you have a kid who wants their ears pierced.

I tried to get an appointment with him marked down but he would take over 10-18 hours to reply. I tried working with his schedule and once I had a whole week free so he didn't have to work around me he stopped replying. I tried bringing up the issue of the communication and his resolution was to be upset that I didn't know his schedule and ended up blocking me for even bringing it and I wasn't even trying to offend him I was just trying to book in a time. While it would take him hours to reply when I was trying to schedule it only took him minutes once I brought up the communication. For this reason I would not recommend working with him or trying to schedule maybe you'll have better luck with being a walk in.

It really helps keep your mind on something other than the tattoo work being done and the time just flies by without trouble. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and doesn't look down on anyone whether you are in for your first tattoo or for your 20th. I highly recommend EVERY artist at 27 as Vic and ERIN have worked very hard to make sure that only the top talents and best people work for them. I have future plans and desires to get a piece done by multiple other artists in the studio, if I can get onto their schedules as well in the future. I also want to add that when I first told friends and coworkers where I got my work done, they have always been jealous and had excellent things to say about the studio and particularly for Erin and Vic. This was not a one time appointment. It was an ongoing piece that required multiple sessions to complete. The shop's public response claimed there were repeated issues with cancellations and deposits over "5 years," but after recovering the full timestamped message history, that claim simply does not match the record. The messages show: * Multiple confirmed appointments and continued sessions * Only two cancellations on my end, both with notice and accepted at the time * A cancellation by Cole in 2020 one week before a scheduled appointment * Repeated attempts from me between 2018 and 2021 to finish the tattoo At no point did I abandon the project. I repeatedly reached out to continue and complete the work, including coordinating while living in St. George and willing to drive 4 hours for appointments. The tattoo remains unfinished, and I've now been told no resolution or compensation will be offered. I have since consulted another artist and will have to pay approximately $1200 to complete and correct the work. This review is not about being denied future service. It's about being left with an unfinished multi session tattoo after years of documented attempts to complete it. All of this is supported by timestamped messages and direct communication with the shop owner.
