They drained my oil -- and only then informed me they did not have my oil in stock. At that point, my car was undriveable, and we were stranded there for over an hour while they searched around town for oil. I spoke with the manager, who explained they have not been receiving full shipments when they place orders. I understand supply issues can happen -- but inventory problems should be identified before beginning service. Draining someone's oil without confirming you can complete the job is entirely preventable. When I later called to request a refund, I was told it "wasn't their fault" that the oil wasn't in stock. Respectfully, inventory management is absolutely the responsibility of the business. I did not create the shortage. I simply came in for a routine service. This isn't the first time this has happened. On a previous visit, they removed my air filter and then informed me they didn't have the replacement, which also caused a significant delay. The issue isn't just the wait -- it's the pattern of beginning service without confirming parts are available, and then shifting responsibility when it causes inconvenience. Because I frequently have my daughter with me, I'm not comfortable returning and risking being stranded again. I was offered a half-off coupon, but that doesn't address the underlying issue. Very disappointing.

The brakes were faulty, and when I pressed the gas down to the floor, the car would stop mid traffic. It was a very dangerous driving situation that Tracy's Auto Repair allowed us to drive in as soon as we left their lot. Keegan (who works at Tracy's Auto Shop) claimed it was a faulty part, and he said that they would fix it, and yet, now, when it is still under time warranty, we brought it back, because it had completely broken down again, and Keegan said although it is in time warranty, it is out of mileage warranty, thus Keegan refused to repair it. Just minutes before, we had left Jiffy Lube to change the brake pads, which were still in time warranty, but were out of mileage warranty. Jiffy Lube fixed the break pads anyway, free of charge. We then drove straight to Tracy's Auto Repair and Keegan had us put on the break over and over again. He told us he could not repair it for two days and to return then. When we drove off, the same driving condition that was extremely dangerous occurred all over again. Additionally, it had completely melted the brand new brake pads and all the work that Jiffy Lube had just done for free. Keegan was extremely rude to my son and myself. We were in the middle of a move, and he could not have been more inconsiderate . Keegan then called this morning and said that it was not out of time warranty, but it was out of mileage warranty, thus Keegan refused to repair it. This is the worst treatment we have ever received at any auto shop, and it is the worst treatment that we have ever received as human beings in the way that Keegan treated us - ever. I would highly recommend Jeremy and his team over at Jiffy Lube in Heber City. I highly discourage anyone from patronizing Tracy's Auto Repair in a Heber City, Utah.
