This is not a large store, it is ran by only a couple of people. You cannot expect them to get through an entire crowd of customers as quickly as Walmart could. Also most of the purchases are for ammunition or firearms, which you must do paperwork for every single time in this state. You shouldn't be surprised that it takes a little bit more time to serve customers than other stores, especially with how popular this store is. Every inch of the store is covered with gun parts, ammunition, guns, etc. I've always been able to find what I need and the employees were always eager to look through EVERYTHING for what I need if I couldn't find something on my own. The employees are also very knowledgeable, and have frequently given me advice on gun maintenance, cleaning tips, and warnings about flaws in older models of firearms and how to avoid putting myself in danger while using them. They care about their customers and there's no questioning that. I've also consistently found excellent deals at their shop, particularly in regards to military surplus rifles/antique firearms (I just got a mint condition replica traditions muzzleloader for $150, and normally this models sells for about $400 online as a kit). Multiple reviews say that the employees are rude, however I have never seen that, even when I was new to the firearms community and would ask the most braindead questions a shop owner could hear. I'm not discrediting other people's experiences, but none of the workers have ever spoken down to me or disrespected me for any reason. I have however seen my fair share of snobby and "know it all" customers try to argue with the shop owners, and that's when they tend to get dismissed by the employees. It's as simple as treating others how you would like to be treated, and I guess some people missed learning about the golden rule when they were in kindergarten. Overall I love this store and will continue to buy from them for as long as I can, just try to come around when it's not as crowded cause it will take a little bit to get to the front of the line.
