This review basically is just to echo every word Chad M. wrote as we seemingly had identical…read moreexperiences here. Truly, if a root canal is a must, Buckeye Endodontics does them as well and efficiently as could any office could. I found them online in a search engine through my insurance provider, which listed them among a handful of other endodontists in the area that were supposedly within network. Now, I have a rare federal dental plan that most dental offices have never even heard of so, imagine my surprise when I called Buckeye Endodontics and the employee on the phone immediately said "oh you have the AVN6 plan? Your co-pay will be $X" AND that number actually matched up to the number I'd seen on my fee schedule prior to calling! I am also 15 weeks pregnant and the staff here communicated with my physician to ensure they followed all recommendations for my safety and that of baby's, which included not using epinephrine in the anesthetic. I felt terrible for arriving a few minutes late on the day of my scheduled treatment but, when I called to alert them, the front desk employee politely said "as long as you're not more than 15 minutes late we'll be able to see you, drive safe!" Upon arrival, both the senior dental assistant (Miranda) and Dr. Simpson were aware that I was pregnant - I know that seems obvious given that they'd already communicated with my doctor prior to my visit but just 2 weeks prior to coming here I went to a dentist, told her I was pregnant, returned for treatment, and almost was injected with epinephrine if not for my asking what was in the numbing agent to which the dentist responded "wait, you're pregnant?!? Did you just find out?!" and I had to point out that, no, actually I had already told her staff that and they actually also had communicated with my doctor. The actual procedure was quick and relatively easy - the TV right above the dental chair playing HGTV sure made the time pass quickly :) Dr. Simpson was diligent to answer all questions I had following the procedure, gave clear verbal and written instructions, and soon I was on my way. I was advised to take pain medication before the anesthetic wore off but, with the whole pregnancy thing, I decided to chance it. And, as Chad mentioned, while expecting the worst, I never did experience any pain - even after the anesthetic wore off! Sure, there was some discomfort and the area was tender but no more actual pain in my mouth - truly life changing! If you need a root canal, look no further than Dr. Simpson and his entire team at Buckeye Endodontics, you won't regret it!

I had to get a root canal done. I was send to buckeye endodontics. Dr. Simpson and his assistant…read morewere lovely. I was so scared. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend buckeye endodontics. Okay, with that being said. Let's talk about his receptionist. I arrived on time, got to the receptionist desk ,stood there for a good three minutes. The receptionist was clearly visible and knew that I had came in to the office. Never looked up and acknowledge that I was there. Never said hold on I will be with you in a minute. She finally came over, with an attitude like somehow I interrupted her day,and asked are you the 1:15 fill this out and shoves a clipboard in my face. She was so rude and nasty.

This place needs more and more…read more of the dental instructors in the clinic. They are unconscious nobody to watch Some of the dental students have egos and treat the volunteers very bad.. The person I was speaking of already thinks they are a dentist. when trying to schedule she would not let me know her schedule but she would fill her schedule with her other patients. we were low life's compared to their other patients. i would not try to volunteer here because your phone number will be blocked if the dental student does not like you. The Dental Staff really need to teach these dental students manners and not to treat volunteers like dirt. I never would ever go back. This program is not like it sounds you have to go 10-12 times and they will always find a reason to knock u out of the study. The Dental Students should be observed by the dentists and how they treat volunteer. This woman was a real jerk she should not become a dentist if she is insulting to volunteers of any kind. I really observed a male dental student treating his volunteer like dirt I was told by his volunteer that.hewould constantly play with his phone. It was a cellphone hidden behind a landline. When u could get thru he never had anyvoicemail. He blocked me all of his phones. Two faced nice to youTo your face but destroys your reputation when you are not there. i got this info from another volunteer These so called dentists need to teach these dental student how 2 treat voluntrees with respect There is one dental student and I was told by this volunteer that this guy blocks your phone number or says it is not in service. He gives you a cell phone number u can't use but if u go online and put in the cell phone number a different number comes up can call it with a land line. Threal number pops up. The teachers don't even know what these nasty students are doing and how they are treating you. How blind can these professors be. i have never seen such rudeness in all my days. They oral Clinic at Ohio State needs to be revamped so the dental students can't refuse to schedule you can disconnect your number just be so unplesant. They need lessons on how to be nice to other people and not just refuse to schedule you. tThis dental student should be expelled he is a male chauvinist he doesn't even give you the correct number. This female dental student should at least learn learn to be polite thank you great work instead of constant criticis. Whoever runs the dental clinic for volunteers and dental students should be fired and hire someone for the students to go to. There is one student who screws with your phone he now blocks your phone blocks you from any communication. He is rude and never has any respect for any of his volunteers. He blocks your number. my dental student has said so many nasty things about me behind my back but as one dental student said you are nobody just do what you are told even if the treatment is terrible. Begire any volunteer starts in the dental clinic they should be given the name of someone you can go to if the dental student is rude nasty a narcissist full of himself and will just block u from being able to communicate. what right do these students have to block your phone call give you their phone number that does not work. i have no clues if the people in charge of the dental clinic know this is happening. The dental students can be abusive and jerks and they refuse to answer if u try to call. Do not volunteer here u will be treated very badly. The people in charge should double check all the phone numbers they give out to their volunteer and then block it or it is no good. There is a real dental school jerk that does this. There is nowhere where the volunteer can go to get help. These dental students female and male are doing things to the volunteers that the people who run the oral clinic are even aware of. Do not go to Ohio State School of Dentistry the dental students are mean and faculty does nothing to pay attention. Try to call the phone numbers that were first given to the volunteers by the dental students and see who blocks changes numbers is nasty. My female dental student was no better trying to schedule on her days was impossible and she does nothing to help at all. The Ohio State Dental School is a joke but one guy blocks u never answers any questions if the volunteers the woman are just as bad. Where are the faculty they should be making rounds at least once an hour. I never ever saw a faculty member while I was being insulted laughed at it is terrible but the school needs to check their dental students because a lot of them are bigots they refuse to call you back. Close it down till revamped and more dentists watching.
