I've worked with many contractors and this crew paid attention to the details. Downspouts were placed properly and symmetrical to the house. Gutters look flawless on the roof line. They took the effort and time to make it look seamless. It was a clean installation and the quality is apparent. Had our first heavy rain after the crew left and I watched the system at work. No more runoff. Tight water flow. I researched and had 10 plus estimates done on this project. Josh was professional and wanted our business. Our building was one of the first ones done. The first thing they did was scrape and leave marks on the street in front of our townhome with the cherry picker. Then, 2 weeks of feeling like our roof was going to fall in on us due to all the constant pounding . Never, did I think it would actually happen , but I was sleeping and my husband woke me to show me that a board had come through the ceiling and there was a board hanging from our ceiling and plaster everywhere. My husband went out to try to find the owner who was not there but his workers came into our home to look at the damage. I was listening from the bedroom and heard them deny that their constant vibrations and pounding had caused this to happen which I was could not believe I was hearing. Then, the owner comes into our home and begins screaming at my husband who was still very calm and denying that they had done anything to cause this, This was incredibly unprofessional and made me so angry. They claimed that the board was there from the builder of the townhome. It may have been but we bought the townhome in 2005 and since the attic is not a walk up attic, my husband and I have never been up there,. Despite this, the board was there from 2005 until 2023 and it was due to the vibrations and pounding the roofers did that caused it to fall through our ceiling., I would have thought so much more of them if they would have offered to pay for it,. They were paid I I believe ) 420,000 to replace the roofs and could have afforded to pay for it,. However, they refused to pay for anything . My husband had to pay the additional assessment from our homeowners association so the roofing could be done which was around 3,000 + and then we had to pay an additional 1,200 to have the damage fixed that their pounding and vibrations caused. The initial sales experience with Mike was positive. He was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, execution fell far short of what was sold. What was represented as a one-week project extended to nearly a month. The assigned supervisor, Eduar, spent limited time actively supervising the work, frequently remaining in his truck on the phone or managing repeated trailer issues in and out of our driveway. The crew itself was subcontracted, had completed only four metal roofs prior to ours, spoke no English, and lacked basic equipment--including ladders--which they repeatedly took from our property without permission until Ridge Max was contacted directly. Jobsite cleanliness and safety were unacceptable. Our pool and lanai were left covered in debris that we ultimately had to clean ourselves. The crew regularly worked after dark on a steep roof using cell phones for light, creating a serious safety concern that required intervention. Beer cans were later found on our property, which the supervisor acknowledged purchasing for the crew. Communication deteriorated after the first few days when Ridge Max reduced crew resources and continued to supply faulty equipment. Promised timelines were repeatedly missed, and concerns were consistently raised without meaningful resolution. We were pressured into purchasing attic fans with the assurance they would be installed at no charge; however, installation was delayed for weeks and nearly placed in a highly visible front-facing location rather than the agreed-upon rear placement. After escalating concerns to the original salesperson, a second supervisor was sent who acknowledged our dissatisfaction and stated the company "owed us at least a steak dinner." Despite requests, the owner declined to contact us or visit the project. We were asked to leave a five-star review and told a gift card would be sent--this never occurred. While the crew returned once to address outstanding items, numerous scratches and signs of rust remain on our new roof. Overall, the workmanship and project management did not align with what was marketed as a premium, professional installation. Buyer beware. Ridge Max Roofing did not deliver on its stated promise to "protect what matters." Less than a year later the paint had faded making the front section of my home above our front door look like it had the measels. I began requesting repar in September of 2024. It's still not done mid June, 2025. I've had two of their staff come look at the damage, document it, and promise to order materials. The most recent visit was in March. I've place numerous callls and texts. I've received numerous promises, broken promises, and postponements. The crew manager will not answer or return my calls. I finally got ahold of someone in the office this morning and they told me they hadn't even ordered the material yet. They told me they ordered in last November. I've been a contractor and hired many companies in my 50 years of doing business in the trades. This contractor is the worst I've dealt with regarding customer service. We called Aries and upon their inspection, they said that we only needed to fix one side, which had the most damage and the rest of the roof has five more years left. They gave us an estimate, which we thought was pretty reasonable compared to the other 2 quotes we obtained. We proceeded to select the color. On installation day, they noticed that the color we previously selected didn't really match the existing roof given its age. They no longer make the existing roof that we have so we had to find the closest match. Instead of just going with what we picked installing it and saying hey that's what they picked anyway , they took an extra step to make sure that all sections of the roof matched. We also had to change the location of solar power dock and they did it for us for no extra charge. They're great to deal with very professional, timely, and accommodating.
