The employees at Archangel Care Services are truly angels. On very short notice they were able to send an awesome caregiver, Candy, who took excellent care of my wife while she was in hospice. She treated my wife with loving care. They are very friendly, professional, and caring toward their clients. Mary was especially kind and always accommodating. She really made it very easy to get coverage when we needed it. We were totally blessed that we used them during our difficult times. We recently had a very close member of our family become gravely ill. My aunt and her husband had no children and I thought more of my family members would come through. Unfortunately, everyone had their own lives to live and the Covid 19 didn't make it any easier. However, we found a new family called Archangel. They were a God sent! The agency, especially the director, Mary, did not hesitate to come to the house and assess Uncle Tony the same day we made the phone call. Immediately, Mary's experience and expertise went into action and we were able to get Uncle Tony to all his doctor appointments and treatments, along with a schedule for feeding, exercise, and hygiene. When my husband was unexpectedly hospitalized for a very serious illness, we were wondering about next steps in care when he was discharged. After he arrived home, I interviewed several companies and Archangel immediately rose to the top. Mary came right away, and, it was clear that her primary focus was on the well-being of my husband. She was knowledgable and immediately gave us some extremely important information about care, which helped us out so very much. We felt that her main concern was empowering us to have the tools we needed to care for him while he was so incredibly fragile, on oxygen 24/7, and requiring very attentive 24/7 care. I told her that I needed time to review all the medical information, communicate with the medical team, communicate with our family, and take care of the many and varied responsibilities that come with running a household. Together we decided that the 8 hour/7 day support was perfect for our needs. Once our care started, I felt so at-ease. Our caregivers (one weekday and one for the weekends) had levels of expertise that amazingly matched my husband's needs. They had deep compassion and provided such extraordinary care. I attribute my husband's steady recovery to the many on his amazing Kaiser medical team and his daily at-home next steps provided by Archangel.
