We recently concluded a several-year-long search for a law firm to write our living trust. What we didn't expect was to find a truly competent firm that was also incredibly compassionate and kind. We met with over 5 people from introduction to notarization, from Sidd, who met with us at the beginning, to Laura, who became our lawyer. Each individual was kind, professional, and effective. There was no "sales" pressure to sign immediately. We also noticed that they took care of families with dependents with special needs. Meier has more than one lawyer, the importance of which was brought home to us in trying to make arrangements with a previous lawyer who was either skiing or off on golf trips and who had no one in the office when out of town. While the overall price was more than quoted by the previous lawyer we thought to engage, it includes a triennial review and the ability to ask questions without billable hours. The price point was slightly higher than some of the others but the package we selected included many options others didn't offer.
