They have a bunch of excellent beers and there is a food truck in the back that serves delicious wood fired thin crust pizza and other "gourmet street food" according to the writing on their truck. We had two of their large pies and an order of Wisconsin cheese curds. Between the four of us, I think we are all but one slice. As for the beer, I think we had at least 6 different beers. They have a great selection of pilsners and lagers that are around 5-6% abv, which is good since we had to drive. They also have a couple coolers with soft drinks for kiddos, DDs and those that don't drink beer. They also had a couple of hard seltzers available. All of the beers we tasted were great. I'd recommend getting a flight of 4 if you want to try a few different kinds. My favorite is probably theirr Free Stone lager. The space is pretty unique. All parking is in the back in a crushed stone parking lot. There is a deck off the front and the back. I think most of the action is either inside or on the back seating area. There was a gigantic TV inside where there was a football game showing, but we stayed mostly on the deck outside except for coming into get more beer and use the restrooms. There were three restrooms, M, W and either. Lots of high top tables inside and a handful of rocking chairs on the back deck. Be sure to bring a jacket or other layers because as soon as the sun goes down, we'll, it's Colorado so you should know. The temps dropped pretty quickly. It's a great place to bring well behaved dogs and meet up with friends for good food and drinks. We're adding it to our down valley rotation.

My two friends and I each got a flight of 3 wines and they were very nice sized pours. We all enjoyed our wines, but the favorites (and bottle purchases) were the Malbec, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel. The ambiance is awesome! It was a beautiful day, so we sat at the exposed bar (wild west themed) and was quickly greeted by Patrick and Jordan. They were so friendly! They felt like long-time friends! Patrick poured us each a taste of a Sangiovese that wasn't on the menu and it was great (which is why we both ended up buying a bottle). We also had pizza with Patrick's secret ingredient - a drizzle of balsamic glaze - YUM! We didn't get the charcuterie board but another patron had it and it looked very, very good! Customer service was seriously exceptional! They were friendly, personable, and helpful. I felt like they genuinely wanted to get to know us and they genuinely wanted us to leave happy. They even told us about upcoming events they are having at the Winery. Value is super reasonable too. The flight of 3 was $18 (and again, Patrick hooked us up with a few more tastes) and the bottles are approximately $35 each. I can't wait to come back and bring my mom and sister. This is seriously my favorite yelp review I've written to date. This place is super special!

"Straight On" - Heart…read more I made my way to this store right away (straight on) as it was only a block and a half from the Glenwood La Quinta, and directly across the historic Hotel Colorado. I bet this store stays mainly afloat from all the people from all the hotel traffic that comes across their door, and it's a good thing, because the people here were very friendly. The prices were not exactly bargains, but for the convenience and the walk-a-bility factor in Glenwood: Hotel Glenwood Springs, Hotel Colorado, La Quinta Inn and others, this store is right off the main strip. I managed to find a 6-pack of my favorite beer, a Tropical IPA called "Idol Time" that I had in a local pizza joint. The beer is made in Oregon and has flavors of coconut and pineapple without all the sweet - it was the BEST IPA. I bought a 6-pack and managed to pack it away in my checked luggage without the thing blowing up, which was a big plus, since this beer is non-existent in Hawaii, how ironic, given the fact that it says "Tropical" and has the word "pineapple" and a tiki head on it. Thanks, Springs Liquors, for carrying this. You're my best bud in Glenwood Springs! RETURN FACTOR: Going Straight On for Springs Liquors.
