Not $15 okay though. The beef was moist and kind of tasted like it was steamed and then quickly fired over the grill to give it grill marks. Office Worker 2 Baa Baa Burger - 8 hour slow braised lamb shoulder with tzatziki, olive tapenade, tomato, cucumber, Spanish onion, rosemary roast potatoes & a brioche bun $15 Worker 2 was not particularly impressed with the burger. Looking at the lamb it seemed a little too dry for something that had been slow cooked for 8 hours. He didn't really have much to say and looked at me strangle as I took pics of all the food. Office Worker 3 Falafel Salad - Falafel served on a bed of rocket with haloumi and roast field mushrooms $15 Fries with aioli $2.5 Enjoyed the falafel but wasn't a fan of the salad. Looking at it all the proportions looked off considering what looked like a whole lettuce in the bowl. We all enjoyed the chips but ended up in deep conversation about the difference between mayo and garlic. We all agreed the service was good and the place looked quite good and would probably be a good place to go for a few drinks after work. The food needs more work on it. I feel they have adopted a cooking style out of convenience rather than looking actually improving the flavour of the dish using the sous--vide technique to have everything ready ahead of schedule which is good to get food out quickly to hungry diners, but in this instance I don't think it worked. The waitress went to confirm with the cooks and charged us the price of the nachos. When the food came out, they actually had the chili and cheese in a separate bowl and the fries on a plate. I thought it was a bit weird, but I poured the chili over it and it looked pretty damn good. It tasted damn good too. My friends were pleasantly surprised and we scarfed the fries down pretty quick. The buffalo wings were also really good and had a nice spicy kick. Another plus about this place is they have a Stacker machine, which is the most addicting game in the world. Overall a very cool pub, slightly pricey for pub food but any place that has or is willing to serve chili cheese fries is alright by me.
