So happy I checked out their warehouse sale today!! We found so many great items at deeply discounted prices perfect for The event rental company I am working with my boss to grow. All the ladies were super helpful and willing to work with you on the price to give you the best possible deal. I went last minute and without a truck but figured if I found something, I would rent one then. However, I contacted every rental truck company in the area, and they either were out or charging 800+ dollars for a two-day rental. Fortunately, the archive also offers delivery for only a $200 charge, which is impressive considering I live in LA. My wedding was two years ago! I never gave a review, but recently decided to because something similar happened to a friend with another company and I wanted to warn brides. I am absolutely not the kind of person to freak out about specifics, but this has been the one mistake from my wedding that still frustrates me today, and it could have been avoided. Let me get a few things straight: they have beautiful items for rent - very unique and clean pieces for higher rate than other rental companies, but worth it for me because I was bored to tears with what the other companies were offering. The woman I worked with was very kind and helpful, and the company clearly had a trendy community vibe going on. I was happy with what I ordered and how I was treated. My problem came on the day of the wedding - if I remember correctly, the wonderful woman that was working with me had hurt her arm in an accident and was not as hands on. Because if this, we had a few staging problems that I had to step in for, but my biggest issue was that she left before the venue was fully set up. Because of this, I did not receive the expensive rose gold forks, knives and spoons I paid for because the incorrect pieces were placed on the truck and she left before they were set out on the tables. Instead I received rose gold forks, and gold knives and spoons. All in different styles- like literally contemporary, vintage, and victorian. Honestly it looked so bad and I hated it so much. The company contacted me a few weeks later to tell me that I owed them a large sum of money because there was wax on the table runners, which was in my contract and I was aware of it. I was, however, a little upset about that because I had personally been out there before I walked down the aisle trying to sort out the things that were wrong and I KNOW the candles were not on the runners when I left the floor. I really feel like if the Archive employee had been there, she would have been able to step in when they were moved by whoever the heck felt like it was a good idea. I don't know who moved them but it wasn't my coordinator. I called them and told them I understand, but I did not receive the silverware I asked for so I would appreciate a refund. I had to hassle them a little to refund all of the silverware, and not just the difference in prices between the styles. It left a bad taste in my mouth, because I felt like these were things that could have been avoided if the job was done thoroughly. They apologized and met me with a gift bag to say sorry. I felt they handled it well after I gave them a little trouble, but be wary of these issues! They can absolutely be avoided. I'm still mad about it!! read more

I used Archive rentals for my wedding day. the venue space was completely empty so i had to rent a lot of different pieces from Archive - couches, chairs, tables, decor and flowers. I love their inventory of vintage items as I was going for the modern vintage / repurposed feel. a lot of décor these days is new, made to look old.. but Archive has actual original vintage pieces which bring extra charm to their collection. not only did I love their inventory of items but I was extremely happy with their very talented design team-Krista, Kori & Christina. I am super picky and tend to micro manage, but after meeting with the design team I was confident that they would be able to execute on my idea with minimal involvement from me. I was also impressed with the creativity behind the flowers. the team introduced me to many different flower varieties that I had never seen before. they mixed in some classic and modern pieces to seamlessly coordinate with the décor selected.. and while it was all coordinated it wasn't too "matchy-matchy" .. I was one VERY happy bride with the end result the only downside is that they are on the $$$ side, but I suppose you get what you pay for because all my wedding guests were over the moon with the décor and flowers. in fact, Archive made a custom piece for the alter.. and my eyes literally filled up with tears when I saw it setup for the ceremony - tears of joy because it was so beautiful and even better than I could have ever imagined. read more

I found Archive Rentals through a wedding blog and was immediately drawn to their furniture through their dreamy photographs. When I saw the Martha Settee I knew it would be a perfect fit. In all we ordered two sofas. the settee, three benches, two steamer trunks and a side table. Its funny, b/c we didn't really want a vintage feel at the wedding, so we made it modern in other ways and in the end, the furniture just really made the space feel comfy and cozy AND people loved taking their photos on them! I worked with Archive Rentals to make my wedding day because they have such amazing pieces. I worked closely with Al (Alexandra) with picking our pieces to go with the rustic romantic theme of my wedding. She was absolutely amazing to work with. She was always very responsive no matter HOW busy she got. I got married beginning of October which is evidently a very popular time in Southern California. I was pretty fixated on one vintage chair in particular that I wanted at our wedding. The green color was spot on, plus I loved the fabric and I kept returning to that piece to include with a seating area we wanted staged. By the time we were looking at reserving the chair (among other dinnerware) it was actually promised to be shipped out to a wedding in Northern California the day after my wedding. My heart sank, but Al jumped to the action and volunteered to pick up the chair the evening of my wedding so that we could have it, and personally bring it to their shippers so they could load it and take it that same night up to Northern California. Talk about customer service!!! She went above and beyond and was always so very understanding and accommodating.
