My boyfriend asked her if he could use the restroom, and she said oh we don't have one so use the 76 next door. But when he spoke to the mechanic, the mechanic himself said oh yeah, just ask the lady in the front. My boyfriend went back to ask about it and she rudely said NO. Let me start by saying this is probably the cheapest gas in the area minus Costco. However try to avoid going into the convenience store if at all possible. There is a reason why the picture for this yelp is a lady flicking you off. The other reviews regarding the customer service are all TRUE! Gas station lady attendant will literally STEAL your change. This has happened to me twice with one lady. Do not pay in cash for your gas, or make sure you do not overpay. Came by for a fill up the other day and it was okay. This is an updated Arco as it features pay at the pump with a color screen! (vs. the older Payment island that was separate from the pump) The fuel pump was in good working order although the grounds, pump and walls all seemed grimey... maybe they need to hose off the entire gas station? read more

The service station isn't bad. I've had my cars smog check there before. The gas station is cheaper than any other place around. This is usually the first place I go to when I need to fill up. It can get kind of busy sometimes, but overall it isn't bad. I usually come to this gas station after work but I would just pump outside. However, today I had to go inside because I wanted to get cash to get my mom some food while she's in the hospital next door. This is my last time going to this gas station. The lady that was working was VERY rude and I have never experience such disrespect from a customer service worker... I went in and greeted her and told her what I wanted on what pump... she did not greet, did not say a word to me when I told her the amount and the gas pump. Since she didn't say anything, I waited. I went to my regular mechanic to get my smog check done when he pointed out I needed to go to a place that is STAR certified so he sent me to this Arco on Garfield and Hellman because it was the closest. I didn't know what I was supposed to do there so I asked the cashier. She said to talk to the guys in the garage. I approached one guy who told me to talk to another guy, who told me to talk to another guy who told me only the boss man could do it but he wasn't there. I asked when he was going to be there and he said in a really rude manner "I don't know - maybe 10:00 maybe 10:30". I stared him right in the face for a bit then turned and walked away. Oh wow! I'm in shock! The cashiers here are usually pretty decent, nice even. However, I just met a heck of a lazy & ignorant man behind the register. Stopped by here for some gas and a cild drink. Doors were still locked so I asked the cashier for a can Starbucks coffee. He tells me they are sold out. I look again at the cooler - there were at least 10-15 bottles available!
