I went to Arcola at 1550 Fremont St., Seaside. California asked if they would fill my propane tank. The young lady said yes she locked the front door went over. I had two propane tanks to fill during the first one there is a minimum of 5 gallons. She proceeded to fill my tank without opening the vent, filled it up to The Max which was overfilled without the vent, opened introducing moisture to my tank on the interior, creating a hazard which could potentially fail any equipment that I hook it up to. I called this morning on July 6 spoke to the lady and asked if she was the one from yesterday she said no. I proceeded to ask her did she know the young lady's name she said she does not know any of the ladies that work there so I jump in my vehicle and drive down to 1550 Fremont St. in Seaside California the lady that answered the phone was standing There I looked at the young lady next to her, and she was the one that filled my tank. That's odd that she said she did not know who the other employee was when actually she was standing right next to her liar I hate liars. She proceeded to tell me to leave my name and phone number that the owner would be back on Wednesday in the afternoon I called the credit card company disputed these charges and called the fire department in Seaside, California to inquire what should I do with this hazard that I have now Do not get your tanks with propane filled here. If this was a motorhome, she would've had to destroyed the regulator. And any equipment that may have been used some of these motorhomes are up in the millions do not get your tank filled at this local Arco in Seaside California 1550 Fremont St. plus if you do not like liars highly recommend staying away read more

This is my local gas station. I have a long commute for work. My tire pressure came on late one night as I was returning from work and the gas station was closed, but my tires definitely needed air. The air pump said it was $1.50. I put in the change, no air. I had work again the following morning so I drove back on a mostly flat tire. Luckily I didn't have far to go. I explained I paid the night before. The woman behind the counter would only start the air pump if I gave her $2.00. I told her the sign says $1.50, and in California, if you buy gas, the air is free, legally. This woman did not care. As I needed to drive the 80 miles round trip, I paid the extra $2.00. I didn't want to drive around to another gas station and further ruin my tires. I'm so fed up and disgusted with the attitude and way I was treated. For a few bucks this place has lost a loyal customer for life. Greedy and willing to rip people off does not earn my loyalty! So very disappointed. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS ARCO. THEY ARE OVER REPORTING ALL GAS PUMPED AND HENCE OVER CHARGING YOU! I've noticed that every time I go to this Arco, my fuel mileage (determined by taking miles traveled per trip divided by gallons pumped) would plummet. I average around 38 MPG in my 2001 Honda Civic, and that hasn't changed until I started going to the Arco in Seaside. The first time I realized this piece of crap gas station was defrauding their customers was about 2 months ago. I went to this Arco with an almost empty gas tank. I still had some gas in there since the low fuel light didn't come on. After the fuel dispenser went over 12 gallons pumped, my interest was piqued. When it went over 13 gallons, I was like, WTF?!?!? In my 12 years of owning this car, I have NEVER EVER seen it take 13 gallons before. When it finally stopped, it was at 13.75 gallons. WHAT?!?!? So, I went to Honda's website to check the fuel specification of a 2001 Honda Civic LX. Guess what? It's only 13.208603 gallons max fuel capacity! WHOA! What the heck, right? That's straight up wrong! So, I took my five gallon back to this Arco to get it filled. The gas pumped registered almost 6 gallons to fill a 5 gallon drum. Ok, so, maybe these guys have uncalibrated fuel dispensers? I checked the weights and measures seal, and find the local inspector. I called the local U.S. weights and measures department and tell them about this problem. They call back and ask for the pump and blah blah blah. The guy on the phone, frankly, sounded fat and lazy. That may sound like biased stupidity, but trust me, over the years, you can hear fat talking over the phone. Anyways, this guy is like, we checked that pump, and it's calibrated correctly. Are you kidding me? I just went to check the pump and it's pumping 5 gallons but reporting 6! Go back and recheck it, dude. He calls back in a day and says they retested it, and it's still calibrated. Whatever, I can't trust these dumbass gov't employees, I might as well switch gas stations. So, I started going to other nearby gas stations, and lo and behold, I consistently get 38 mpg. The gas pumped never goes over 12 gallons. And everything is hunky dory. However, tonight, my suspicions got the better of me, and I thought I would check out our good ole, fraudulent Arco. So, I pull in to PUMP 3 (this pump in particular is over reporting, but be wary of ALL the pumps) and get ready to pump gas. Guess what? 13.545 gallons pumped in a gas tank is only 13.208603 gallons! Wow, U.S. weights and measures, are you guys that incompetent, or are you in cahoots with this Arco?? Who knows, maybe Arco has an over ride switch that reverts back to defrauding their customers to make up for their ultra low margins on gas sold. So far, several people I've talked to said they have experienced similar things at other Arcos. To be frank, it wouldn't be surprising. Although, that is here-say. Anyways, what I DO know is that the Seaside Arco is a piece of crap. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Welcome to the hood Arco! This place used to be called Seaside Alliance and it was also the Seaside Valero but today I noticed they are now Arco. What caught my attention was $3.49/gallon which was THE cheapest gas on Fremont Boulevard. Great way to get some new customers, drop it like it's hot. read more

This is one of the smallest Arco locations I have been to in a long time, and although they don't have the greatest selection of refreshments or snacks for the cost, their gas is definitely some of the cheapest I have seen around Seaside. Also, the bathrooms here are surprisingly clean; considering that people make constant use of the facilities all day long. I may not be able to get my munchies here, but I'll definitely stop in for gas or a blunt wrap when I'm in the area :) read more

Today I went to get gas and I had the worst horrible customer service experience in my life. The attendant put my money on the wrong pump. The second time I went inside he tells me I was talking too much. I was talking to the customer behind me but I stopped talking when it was my turn to be helped. The attendant also put her debit card on the wrong pump. He put her debit card on my pump. He told me I won't get my money back if I told him the wrong pump. It was like he was doing me a favor because it was his fault. I have never seen that policy posted before. I told him I didn't tell him the wrong pump. No man should tell a woman they need to stop talking. He needs to learn how to do two things at once and stop criticizing the customer. I looked on my receipt and I can't find the pump number. I hope the owner has a talk with the attendant. He was very rude to me. read more

THE cheapest place to get gas in town. Just bring cash. There is a .35 cent fee for atms and do not take credit cards. The card machine at the islands do take cash. Depending on the time of day, you may face long lines to get to the pump (almost always for me). read more
