Here are the rules on who is allowed certain privileges for using Military stores, etc.
    Tough-Critic O.

Someone posted that any Veteran holding a VA card regardless of their disability status can now shop at the PX or commissary as well as using this gas station. Well that is absolutely bullshit and not truthful. I will be posting the rules on who qualifies for exchange and commissary benefits using their VA healthcare ID card.

Proof of All service connected eligibility...

I am a frequent visitor to the gas station. I am happy with the services they provide. I get my gas, a few snacks, and sometimes even alcohol on sale. My VA ID card is always accepted. I am not 100% service connected but the new law Jan 1, 2020 that one of my critics posted shows that All service connected veterans are now eligible. It doesn't specify 100% disability. That's new old law. The change is to allow ALL service connected disabilities. They provided the proof to my claim in their own post all the while trying to damage me. There's some pretty dense people out there but the folks in the store know what they are doing when they accept my ID. For those that don't know, it is possible to have a service connected claim and have 0% disability. I am not one of those people though. Don't miss out on changes that are made to improve the lives of veterans out there. Stay informed and open minded. Here's an image of the statement being made...

Cheapest gas in town that is if you're member of the Military, however the inside of the store has groceries, car accessories and a very handsome liquor selection. Employees are always nice.

Great prices, good stuff. I always go here to pump gas. It's in a convenient location, too. Always worth a visit--I don't go anywhere else!

I came to put gas I work down the street on empty and could not put gas due to not being in the military. Don't waste your time coming here.

Convenient for gas if not crowded by non military members in my opinion. Mini mart is simple but good. Easy to walk to on side walk

He's honest about what actually needs to be done and what can wait, which is rare to find these days. The parking lot just looks like a crowded permanent pile of cars - are these vehicles all in queue to be seen by him? Because I went on a Thursday to try to schedule an appointment to be seen for the following Thursday - 4 full business days in advance, and he didn't even want to talk to me. I said, "Will 8AM work next Thursday?" and he said, "Not really." and then told me to bring it in and maybe he would get to it. I'm not bringing it in because even if I did have the time and patience to be seen, it's insulting to be treated the way I was by him. I just stand there feeling like an idiot because I want service and can barely get a word out of him. It's like I don't matter at all and he's better off without me. Everyone posting 5 star reviews must be the very privileged insiders. Maybe they've been customers for years, but now in May 2026, like Emily said, there's no point in trying to be a new customer. They should build a satellite shop somewhere else on the peninsula so the work load can be spread out.

Aaliyah's Auto Repair - Price for diagnostics

    Aaliyah's Auto Repair

    (82 reviews)

I met with the seller of my vehicle at Aaliyah's Auto Shop for a pre-inspection. During the…read moreinspection, the owner, Jesse, informed me that my vehicle had a "very small" water pump leak and that the coolant level was low. He stated that he topped off the coolant with fluid and showed my husband a picture; however, the picture he showed was only of the coolant, not of an actual water pump leak. At no point was I shown a picture or physical evidence of a leak itself. Due to the stress of the transaction and being surprised by this diagnosis--especially since I regularly maintain my vehicle every three months--I did not ask to personally see the alleged leak at that time. Jesse also stated that the vehicle needed new brake pads because they were due for replacement. A few days later, I contacted Jesse to request a photo of the water pump leak. He then informed me that he did not have any photo of a leak--only a photo of the coolant. He went on to say that the car was otherwise "perfect," drove great, and that the only issues were the need for new breaks and a new water pump. Because of these inconsistent statements, I took it upon myself to have the vehicle inspected at a Honda dealership while also completing an oil change. The certified Honda mechanics did not find any water pump or coolant leaks (please see attached video). Additionally, they confirmed that the brakes were at approximately 50% life remaining and did not require immediate replacement. Based on these findings, I am deeply concerned about the accuracy and integrity of the inspection performed at Aaliyah's Auto Shop. It appeared that unnecessary repairs were recommended without sufficient evidence. Jesse also emphasized that his shop was the cheapest in town and that he offers the best prices, which further raised concerns that the diagnosis may have been influenced by sales motives rather than factual mechanical issues. I believe this experience demonstrates a lack of transparency and reliability. I strongly encourage anyone seeking a pre-purchase inspection to consider using a trustworthy and reputable mechanic or dealership service center to avoid receiving misleading or inaccurate information.

Would definitely recommend.
