I use this 7-11 frequently for goods and services. The new owners have really changed things up! The outside has been cleaned up, painted and new pumps installed. They still have the car wash btw. Inside was a total remodel and it came with all the food and goodies 7-11 is know for! For this I thank you. The last business that was running this place ran it into the ground. It's hip, upscale and very friendly. Give this place another chance if you have not been here since the new owners took over. You will be happy. read more

I will NEVER patron this 7-11 again. I purchased a car wash at the store register (card reader at the machine was out-of-order). I went through the car wash, but it also seemed to be non-operable. Long story short, the employee on shift refused to issue a refund and was ridiculously aggressive. She had no name badge and would not provide any contact information. I stepped outside the store and contacted 7-11 customer service while she proceeded to yell things at me from inside the store. She continued to escalate, so I went to my car while I waited on the phone with customer service. She then came outside and took a picture of my license plate. At this point, I gladly called the police. The officer was familiar with her from PREVIOUS incidents - VANESSA apparently has a problem playing nice with others, but 'I got lucky because the employee on the next shift is even worse.' This was resolved with a free car wash coupon, which I had no interest in using. Do better 7-11. read more

This gas station was clean and spacious, though it did look a bit outdated. That said, all the pumps were in working order, and we had no issues fueling up. They don't offer diesel and they do have a car wash and convenience store. Overall, it was an easy and hassle free fuel stop. read more

I'm a loyal customer to the 7-Eleven business. We have at least 7 of these stores in the Monterey Bay area. This store is located not to far from Highway 1. I saw some bad reviews but I didn't see any reason to complain about this 7-11. It has a bathroom, gas station and a car wash. Its clean inside and outside. The workers are very nice and professional. I've been to 7-11's that were gross but this one is one of the good ones. read more

The gas prices here are average but acceptable after visits to Costco or Target. I really like the car wash though! The $12 option gets the car in clean shape with added bonuses like a car bottom wash. One thing to watch out for is buying the car wash at the pump. If you don't get your receipt, you do not have the code to use at the car wash. This happened to me and I spent over half an hour fighting with the manager to no avail. So I recommend just paying at the self kiosk next to the car wash machine. read more

Crappiest car wash. They updated the whole thing a while back but it does not work very well. My car is still dirty and has dirt spots on it. There are car washes that are older/haven't been updated in a while and they work better than this one. I wish I can get my 8 bucks back. read more

I go to 7-11 every morning, and every day I go, I always have the same lady check me out, and let me tell you Hope is the sweetest lady ever, she's always making conversation and asking how my morning is going. She's always alone in the morning and when she works the store is the cleanest and neatest i've ever seen it, she always has food prepared and is good at handling the morning rush alone, in my eyes she deserves a raise. read more

Staff was rude and racist. We are customers and does not want to use their restroom. We paid for our coffee and lottery tickets. A white individuals asked for restrooms and showed the way to restroom., and left after using. One of our friend with us have problem with his prostate, still not allowed to use either one of their restrooms. We were shamed in front of other customers. The name given to me by staff is Hope. I only get gas here, I've never used the car wash or bought anything inside. But it frequently has the cheapest gas in the area without having to go really far out of your way, and lots of pumps that work, and the parking lot is well lit at night. read more

I made the mistake of paying for a car wash at the store's location while getting gas on an updated automated pump. The pump station was set up not to produce a receipt & gave instructions to go inside. Once inside you have to wait in line while food orders & other purchases are taken care of. After waiting for a transaction to be completed I asked if I could get my receipt. I could see it lying on a machine. No, he was going to get a soda for someone. I was then told after waiting some more I needed the pump number that was not visible from the car location or inside the store. The clerk would not tell me the number even though I identified my car which could be seen from inside the store. The number was printed on one side only so it was only visible if pulling in from the opposite direction. So I guessed and he made some sarcastic comment. In the meantime several more cars arrived for the car wash, adding about 20 minutes to the actual wash, which was ineffective in cleaning the car. The entire point of auto pay pumps is to avoid having to be inside a store. That is particularly important during a pandemic where standing in line around strangers should be avoided. It's a sad commentary that this business disrespects the public in this manner & in particular its senior citizen customers. read more

Stopped in before work around 5:30am to get some snacks and use the bathroom. Walking into the bathroom the employee informed me the urinals were closed so id have to use a stall, i get in and there is nothing blocking the urinals so they are filled with urine, absolutely disgusting. I then go into the stall and the tp is just sitting on the ground, then walk to tue sink to wash my hands and the soap dispenser is broke so they just have a soda cup half filled with liquid soap. For being. Newer store this had to be one of the worst ive been in. Freezer section also looked like a blizzard went off in there, you could hardly see the product. Overall it just looks like management has given up on basic maintenance. read more

Please save yourself some money and frustration and DONT go to this place. Yeah it's convenient and yeah it may be affordable BUT don't do it. I took my car through the wash and when I got home there were so many dirty spots! - by the trunk, the hood and along both sides of my car. I opted for their best option, which is about $12 I believe, and I was disappointed. You can pay $14 or $16 elsewhere where people will actually hand dry it. I paid a visit to the Sand City Ca 711 on California Ave today Wednesday Dec 29th and the service was great by my cashier a female ladywith burgundy hair.She was a sweetheart.I was very upset by the way the manager talked to her.He said on line orders are first and I was too wait.That was way wrong on his part.She said no I am finishing my line first.He was very unprofessional and needs some new mgmt skills. I would give this station five stars for its good service and convenience. However, the gas pumps are very dirty and in need of a cleaning.

Without question the dirtiest store I have been in. There is garbage everywhere around the building and on all of the curb lines. The gas pumps are so disgusting that you don't want to push the buttons to get gas. The planter boxes and areas around the building are filled with weeds and dead plants. Bathrooms, well... Then there are the transients who are always on the sidewalks in front of the building or on the right side of the store hanging out. When this was a Beacon station then a Valero it was never like it is now. Owner clearly doesn't care nor do any of the employees. Sad because its in a nice clean shopping center, Edgewater, then you see this disaster of a store. read more
