Paid for a detail inside and out. Got a very nice car wash and they vacuumed the inside. Maybe wiped down the surfaces. I have a black car so it's easier to see when things are missed. They didn't buff out surface scratches that someone who knows what they are doing would have easily got out. My mechanic confirmed. If you have a luxury car I would not bring it here. read more

We were very happy with Octavio's work at Details-Details on Saturday. Our story is a big gross, but I figured it's worth sharing due to his good work. My family was on our way to Monterey to visit family, when our toddler got sick all over the back seat of our Audi. We cleaned it up the best we could, but the car still reeked the next day. We called Details-Details and luckily Octavio had an opening that morning. I was nervous about whether he was going to be able to get our car back to normal after the mess. I was more than happy with the results! Not only was our interior clean and normal smelling, including the car seat, it also looked brand new! I brought my three-month-old 2021 Subaru Forester in for detailing on 7/12/2021. When I picked up the vehicle later that day, I noticed several places on the rear seat bottom and seat back where the cloth fabric was torn. Instead of accepting responsibility for this damage, I was told the fabric must have been like that when I brought it in, or maybe I owned dogs that could have damaged the fabric (wrong on both counts). The car was in immaculate condition when I dropped it off, except for what looked like a minor water stain on the back seat and some dirt and dust from a recent road trip. Because of the situation, I was told I didn't have to pay for the detail job, but that didn't fix the problem because now, instead of spending $160 dollars on a detail, I have to spend $960 to replace the damaged fabric on the seats, and then pay to have it installed. I recommend you avoid this business if you value your vehicle. read more

It used to be a good place not anymore! I have had take the car twice and the cleaning is not what you expect. They have this plans platinum and gold and all that crap and if you want the interior to be wipe you have to pay extra base on what the "manager" told me. So if you think that platinum is gonna do the job no mam totally wrong. They just vacuum and a light wipe inside but the exterior is what they specialize for. I called in the morning to see if he had time to clean the inside of my Honda Accord that I am going to sell and he said he did. We agreed to a very reasonable price over the phone. I'm sure he didn't realize how dirty the inside of my car actually was but let me just say wow! He did an amazing job on it and took over two hours to make sure the inside was spotless. This guy is the best! He is honest and extremely hard working. If you want your car truly detailed, take it here and avoid places like El Estero and Del Rey Car Wash. Del Rey Car Wash said it would take about 15 minutes to do exactly what it took Octavio to do in 5 hours...that right there tells you that there is a huge discrepancy in the quality of work! I took my 06 Honda Civic here before selling it and it was honestly cleaner than I had ever seen it--cleaner than when I got it from the dealer! I shopped around quite a bit and Ocvtavio definitively has the best prices. Not only that, but it always feels so much better giving money to someone who works as hard as Octavio. read more

GREAT SERVICE!!!! I needed my husband's Honda Accord detailed within 24 hours so I could turn it over to our son -and it was in a dreadful state. Lets just say it had been my husband's office, diner, storage shed, tool chest and dog shuttle to dog park and back vehicle for years. You could do an archeological dig in the crumbs and debris between the seats. I cleaned out the debris from the car, which revealed layers of filth. I called around and found Jose at Details Details. He said he could take the car at 8:30 the next morning, When I picked it up a few hours later, I didn't recognize the car. The exterior was gleaming silver. The interior smelled like a new car and the leather seats looked as new as the day we bought the car 7 years ago. The carpets were clean and smelled fresh. All the little crevices and creases and hard to reach places were perfectly clean -even inside the trunk! Jose did a fabulous job. He even pointed out the chips in the body paint-I'm going to get the touch up paint from the dealer and bring the car back to Jose to fix the chipped paint to prevent rust. Jose charged $150 based on the amount of work needed and it was worth every penny. My son loves the car - and he won't let his father near it! read more
