Tried to fill the tank during a road trip. Pumps require a dollar amount to be specified BEFORE pumping, and there's no decimal point in the amount entered. Tried "40" - nope, that's $0.40 of gas. Went inside. Cashier looked at me like I was from a different planet, not someone who just got fuel in three States in two days. I prepaid for $100, filled the tank, and the pump then asked if I wanted a receipt. I pressed yes. The pump asked for my card. Um, okay... I enter my card and it asks me to enter a number to authorize for more gas! I went inside to ask for a receipt for the amount that went back to my card. He couldn't do it. This all felt like I took a time warp back to the 1920's. I'm adding this place to my "Do not return" list. read more

I am always greeted and made to feel welcome to the store on every visit. I stop in at least 6 out of 7 days a week and the team there is amazing from the manager of the who is gregarious and does a spectacular job with her staff to make sure they are aware of things such as promos or even events taking place that may cause overflow of traffic in and out of the store. the staff that cooks and cleans up the store areas are always busy and have food stocked up always. the gentleman behind the counter who rings me up has a pleasant and playful presentation and is always making me feel like,even if it's just a coffee,that my business is appreciated bids a good day to me very professional and knowledgeable and does a great job whatever he is doing other than the counter. I'd drive 20 miles out of my way to show up at this Arco. They have set the bar high for any other attendant to even match. Great job guys keep it up read more

We were on a road trip to see a Turkey named dinner. We needed fuel and stopped at this ARCO. The pictures on YELP do not show the current conditions of this store. The gas attendant was nice enough. He had a 3 walled shack to hang out in from the elements. I think he was Egypt. Poor fella looked cold and home sick. The grounds could have used a little TLC. The garbage cans out front looked gross and dirty. The floor to roof recycling right outside the front door was also offputting. Would I come here for anything other than fuel? NO! read more

This review particularly concentrates on the AM/PM as opposed to the Arco gas station itself. I come here fairly regularly and buy my fountain soda. I come to realize as of recently that I am actually addicted to caffeine. It never crossed my mind until my wife mentioned it to me. So to get my fix of caffeine I don't drink coffee, I partake in diet Pepsi. I buy a 42 oz soda probably 2-3 times a week. The cashiers never judge and I go on my merry way with a large cup of caffeinated goodness. Never heard of the horrible gas station attendant but would imagine that I wouldn't put up with his attitude either if I had to buy gas here but I don't. The staff that work inside this store are pretty friendly all the time and helpful if you have any questions or requests. Like with all the other AM/PM stores if you use your debit card they do penalize you .45 cents. Bear that in mind when purchasing your goodies inside. read more

People who run this place don't really understand English. Don't have much technological aptitude either. Some of the pumps weren't working but instead of blocking them with cones or handwritten signs the attendant continued to service other incoming customers and only when nearby informed us to go to another pump. Parked at another pump, the lone cashier inside had a nervous time entering the orders while the line grew longer. At this point the debacle took more than reasonable 4-5 minutes, more like 13. Had to leave without purchase. Low prices never compensate for untrained personnel. read more

This is one of the least expensive places to fuel up in the entire Portland metropolitan area. There are other ARCO AM/PM convenience stores nearby so you may want to check around for the best price. As a reminder, all ARCO fuel stations do NOT accept credit cards. They do accept debit cards over ATM network processing, but charge a $0.35-0.45 convenience fee. I paid cash at this location so I don't know how much they charge. Attendant was efficient although not entirely friendly. I needed a receipt so I had to go into the AM/PM store. Clerk inside was very prompt and had no problem giving me a receipt. read more

Bathrooms are nasty - toilet paper and water all over the floor. Went in to buy some snacks, the cashier watched TV on her phone (young hispanic girl, 3:54pm on 7-17-17 if any of the management reads this) the entire time including while she was ringing me up. This has got to be the most disgusting place with exceptionally horrible customer service that I have ever stopped at. Will never stop there again on my weekly trips. read more

I wish I could give them a half star. The guy pumping gas, in the three or four times I've been there, is ALWAYS on his phone. Besides that, he is ride and disrespectful to everyone that comes through there. I've said something to him twice now because I felt that he was so terrible. I don't know how he even has a dang job. Never again will I bring my business to this place again after the way I was just treated! Welcome to the neighborhood!! Was in a family emergency hurry and needed gas before getting on the freeway to Portland. I pulled up around 130pm on a Wednesday and the place was super busy (must be the cheap prices). I waited by my pump for 2-3min and then decided to go prepay so that gas could be pumped a little faster(getting me out of there faster). As I walked towards store I passed the guy working and let him know my pump# and amount I would like & that I was going in to prepay. He mumbled something and said he would get around to it when he could. I went inside bought something and paid for my gas. When I passed the young man again who was pumping gas I let him know that I had already paid. He made some smart as remark and then rudely stated he would get to it when he got to it. Lol...I was a little shocked, laughed, and told him I was just trying to help him out since clearly he was having issues handling the pumps on his own and got in my car. When he came over he looked at me through windshield and made this face like a kid not getting it's way and started to mock me Asking to have my gas pumped. That was ir! I opened my car door just as he was about to pump my gas and asked him what his problem was and to fix his attitude! This kid put the cap back on my car and said have a good day and walked away. I told him I had paid for my gas and was then told to go get my $ back. Walked inside, let her know the situation, and she asked if I needed her to pump my gas. I asked her to so I could leave & get to my family. The little a-hole kept running his mouth the whole time we were all outside. What type of management lets their customers get talked to like that? I came in yesterday about 5ish the female cashier behind the register made me wait almost a minute to ring me out because she was to busy texting then after she finished texting she asked me if that was everything and went right back to texting for another minute. This is someone the absolute worst customer service, you might want to retrain your employees on customer service. read more

The guy who works there pumping gas is oblivious even when they're not busy at all. Didn't take the cars in the order we came, didn't tell us when the gas was done, just put the nozzle back and walked away, leaving out receipt hanging there. Customer service, anyone? Nope, not here. read more
