I understand appointments go first, but the pace was unbelievably slow -- in almost two hours only a handful of people were taken back. It honestly makes you wonder how understaffed this location must be. There were people who had been waiting even longer than me and were still there when I finally left. I even tried booking an appointment a week in advance and couldn't get a morning slot, so walking in was my only option. Now I've lost an entire month trying to get essential lab work done. To make matters worse, the waiting room was uncomfortable in every way -- overcrowded, stuffy, poor ventilation, and frankly tough to sit through for hours. Expecting people to wait 3-4 hours in those conditions is unreasonable. LabCorp needs more staff, better scheduling, and a serious upgrade in patient flow (and maybe some airflow too). This experience was exhausting and unacceptable. Patients deserve better.

On 4/21/26 I arrived and signed in at 10:30 am with perhaps 20 people waiting with no open seats. I waited outside and checked patient progress on the status board. At about 11:20 I went inside and my name was called. I went into the 3 desk check-in area and a nice pregnant nurse Diana started to check me in. She was stopped by the office manager woman who said it was another David who had been called. I looked at the property owner map on the wall c. 1890 to find my family home in Cheltenham as I had done in the past and the manager told me to leave. I refused as I was not blocking any new sign-ins and she threatened to call the Abington Police- who came and I explained the situation to them and her unfriendly racist behavior towards me. They videotaped my conversations with them and made no charges against me. I was told that many Labcorp workers have quit and they are understaffed. All seven blood taking rooms were filled with only Diana taking blood, no one at the 3 check-in desks when I was called by phone text at 12:22 pm. I left at 12:40. Suggest the office manager take training in customer service and hire more Phlebotomists. Appointments should be by scheduling, no walk ins. Diana should be commended on her professionalism and caring.

The first bad sign was when Quest pulled out of the building, then they started reducing and overworking the staff. Receptionist gone, managers gone. Even the coffee machine, gone. One word about "AR Resources," They treated me very poorly and would not listen. By the way unless there has been a lot of complaints about this collections agency I do not blame Lisa Smith, the amazing woman who helped me; in the context of business people I have dealt with over the years she really is. In addition I don't blame Doylestown Emergency Physicians PC as an entity for their (AR Collection's) behavior. I'm virtually positive they hired a collections agency for their billing and, from the vibe I got from Lisa Smith, I'm very certain that Doylestown Emergency Physicians did their due diligence to do make sure they don't have a bad rep and that they do their best and are ethical. Nevertheless I would be remiss if I didn't state that a different agency; a kinder gentler collections agency. Anyway without going into details I will just say I got frustrated and finally "went to the top," which is pretty much what you should do when you need help. I don't care what kind of entity it is, why not deal with the person at the top who is most qualified to help you? At the very least they will direct you back down the ladder to the person most qualified. Anyway the person I went to at "Doylestown Emergency Physicians PC," was LISA SMITH I'm not sure of her exact title I believe she is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) or the equivalent within that organization. FINALLY someone was able to help me, and with lighting speed no less. LISA SMITH was spectacular (she deserves the Caps, each and every one of them, because she is the only reason I wrote this review), she looked into it herself and saw that the particular issue was not my fault. He then tells me I had had a heart attack and need to go to a hospital ASAP. I went to Doylestown's ER with the EKG in hand and was promptly told by 3 triage nurses nothing on the EKG indicates a heart attack. They reran one which was fine but due to all the unneeded stress my BP was through the roof. I was in the ER for 3 hours where both Covid & flu were negative, troponin blood was negative and my chest X-rays were clear. I was told what I have is viral NOT bronchitis or a heart attack. This place is an absolute disgrace and I truly feel they should give me my $90 copay back as well as really question Dr. Applebaum's ability to properly screen and diagnose people. Thoroughly disgusted with the way I was treated.
