Unfortunately, this was one of the worst lab experiences I've ever had. I arrived at 8:45 AM and waited until 10:30 AM without my name ever being called. I understand appointments go first, but the pace was unbelievably slow -- in almost two hours only a handful of people were taken back. It honestly makes you wonder how understaffed this location must be. There were people who had been waiting even longer than me and were still there when I finally left. I even tried booking an appointment a week in advance and couldn't get a morning slot, so walking in was my only option. Now I've lost an entire month trying to get essential lab work done. To make matters worse, the waiting room was uncomfortable in every way -- overcrowded, stuffy, poor ventilation, and frankly tough to sit through for hours. Expecting people to wait 3-4 hours in those conditions is unreasonable. LabCorp needs more staff, better scheduling, and a serious upgrade in patient flow (and maybe some airflow too). This experience was exhausting and unacceptable. Patients deserve better. read more

I have used this Abington Labcorp near the Abington Police Station since it opened for my twice per year blood tests. On 4/21/26 I arrived and signed in at 10:30 am with perhaps 20 people waiting with no open seats. I waited outside and checked patient progress on the status board. At about 11:20 I went inside and my name was called. I went into the 3 desk check-in area and a nice pregnant nurse Diana started to check me in. She was stopped by the office manager woman who said it was another David who had been called. I looked at the property owner map on the wall c. 1890 to find my family home in Cheltenham as I had done in the past and the manager told me to leave. I refused as I was not blocking any new sign-ins and she threatened to call the Abington Police- who came and I explained the situation to them and her unfriendly racist behavior towards me. They videotaped my conversations with them and made no charges against me. I was told that many Labcorp workers have quit and they are understaffed. All seven blood taking rooms were filled with only Diana taking blood, no one at the 3 check-in desks when I was called by phone text at 12:22 pm. I left at 12:40. Suggest the office manager take training in customer service and hire more Phlebotomists. Appointments should be by scheduling, no walk ins. Diana should be commended on her professionalism and caring. read more

She sarcastically said, "I called you 5 times.", which she didn't. I am hearing impaired. My daughter isn't and neither one of us heard my full name called. They need a better system to alert patients when it's their turn and which window to report to, especially for hearing impaired! read more

I had an overall positive experience with my phlebotomist, however the location was a bit of a mess. I told the phlebotomist I am nervous and a fainter and she talked to me and helped me remain calm. The waiting room was EXTREMELY small and had about 20 people shoved in a room with only about 6 chairs so be prepared to stand. There is an option to check in and wait in your vehicle I highly highly reccomend you do so because the office is a clautrophobic nightmare. The check in process is all electronic which can be difficult for some people. The process is a bit rushed when checking in, its clear the place needs more staffing. Overall staff was helpful and nice, but the location and business is poorly poorly run. read more

You should see the queue of confused patient as we are all doing the work of Labcorp by checking in ourselves into their system that we are not familiar with. The same tech who tries to assist us at the machines might as well check us in at her desk. I don't understand Labcorp and their backward system and ways of doing things. And the crappy question they ask "are you fasting". Patient are confused about the question. Why not simply ask "did you eat today?" Labcorp is not ready. Many patients have expressed not returning to Labcorp for blood work, including myself. They call you by your name, to go in to be seen; there are several people with the same first names. Who are you calling on? The attitude is not good there; techs are lounging in the hall near the waiting room just gossiping, while patients are doing Labcorp's preliminary check-in. What a huge waste of money and resources. THEY NEED TO DO BETTER! Hire competent professionals, a friendly receptionist, and someone who will check in the patients. I personally will drive to Quest Diagnostics for my blood work, next time, just to avoid the stress with Labcorp. read more

Only thing worse than their aim is their attitudes. They proceeded to lecture me about their knowledge after I expressed concern over the injury they cause my toddler. I shared my experience with a friend who works for their corporate office and she said complaints at this location are nonstop. I've been here twice and all staff are courteous. There is an issue with the staff doing desk duty and phlebotomy duties simultaneously which makes things much more slower and less efficient. Labcorp- you need to establish roles and duties of your staff. Your locations need to run more efficiently. Having your phlebotomists tag team around each other to cut costs on hiring someone else to check in patients will not make things run smoothly. read more

I believe she's taken my blood before and she never has any trouble. I've had times where other labs have had an extremely difficult time. I went in this morning to have my prenatal blood work done as well as my son's one year pediatric blood work. I was so terrified of getting my son's blood work done, but these ladies were so kind, professional, and courteous! They even made me laugh throughout the process (even though my son was less than enthused haha). It went as smoothly as possible and I'm relieved it's over. As for my prenatal blood work, this is the first time in my life I can say that I did not even feel the needle go in or come out (and they took several vials). Hated the computerized check-in, and the unfriendly receptionist clerk who appeared personally unkempt and dirty (her pants were too long with rips and caked with dirt, ugh)!!! Usually the service at Lab Corp flows smoothly. It seems, today, they are in slow motion and disorganized. The music is a bit on the loud side too. The staff are very nice and friendly, except for one who is bossy with the patients or should I say customers. I've been here for almost an hour and still haven't gotten my blood drawn yet.
