Canada Post Strike resulted in a $65 quote from UPS or Purolator to return a jacket. Contacted Rude…read moreBoys and asked if I could wait for Canada Post strike to be over. They said no. I went through everything I could to find a cheaper method, and applied for a UPS business account and got a more reasonable rate of $28. Contacted Rude Boys on day 15 of the 15 day return period, asking to return the item the next day (on the 16th day). They refuse! They wont even consider the Canada Post strike to return an item, even if I am shipping on the 16th day, and asked them on the 15th day of the return. Never shop with these guys online. There is a reason why they are still a small business, as they do not understand customer satisfaction even when it wont cost them a cent! AVOID !

When I first went into the shop I was greeted by some friendly sales people and told them what I was looking for and they pointed out the wall of socks and brought me over to the side of the store with the women's boots. I was a little disappointed with their smaller selection of socks, but I ended up with a pair of Stance Feel 360 So Fly Snow Women's socks and they were great on the mountain! They were also the only pair that I saw that were size small on the wall. I told them what kind of riding I did and that I wasn't really too sure what I was looking for since I've only ever rented snowboard boots before this. I knew I wanted to try all three of the different lacing systems and different brands as well. The man helping me was very nice and went downstairs a few different times to pull more shoes out for me. He was very patient as I tried on three different boots, and then asked for more, he brought a few more out and I went back and forth between the different pairs. I also asked questions about the fit and he was able to answer them. I ended up purchasing a pair of ThirtyTwo boots which were on sale. I used them during the week and they felt pretty good.

Stores like these in the resort / tourist towns seem to be more like an advertisement storefront than actually focusing on product sales to stay afloat (looking at Banff, Boulder Pearl Street, etc).

The items here were not nearly as plentiful as I had expected and while everyone in town carries North Face, I was surprised that some of the stores nearby actually had stuff these guys didn't. I had to have them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I've worked in retail for many years, so I also know you can ask for a discount at any time. You don't have to wait for a sale. There were many items on sale at the back. Everything is beautiful. It is true that some of the accessories are manufactured in China, but the fur coats are Canadian.

On a previous visit there, we had spotted a handmade birdhouse that we planned to send as a gift for a family member's birthday. When I called and enquired about stock a few months later, that particular one wasn't available. They offered to get in contact with their supplier and try their best to track one down for me. They took my number to stay in touch and kept me updated every step of the way. We're so grateful for the effort they put in to helping us track down the perfect gift!
