This is pretty much a busy shopping center with nearby city close by, conveniently easy to get to. People love coming here. Famous stores like Nordstrom Rack, Best Buy, Michaels, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, Famous Footwear, Marshall's, Ulta, Bucca Di Beppo, PF Chang's, Men's Warehouse & Red Robin, etc... to name a few. With so many choices of departments store to choose from, it's a bargains or great value. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. Visited December 17th and 18th…read more Great restaurants and shops are in the immediate area! Catch a game at Golden One or a concert and then enjoy everything this area has to offer! The skating rink is across the street from my picture along with Butcher and Barrel and Sauced just steps away! So fun to be at DOCO! They have upped their Security which is great! Btw...I feel totally safe during the day in this area but wouldn't personally venture out at night unless with a group.

The mall was decorated for the holidays with plenty of Christmas trees and reefs, from the Ice Rink on 7th Street to the west end parking lot by Holiday Inn and the underground walkway to Old Sacramento. I enjoyed visiting the booths, and stopping by the Kings store to see the new merchandise. There are plenty of public parking lots with two that I know of on J Street, L Street and 3rd Street entrances that validate at restaurants and some stores in DOCO. Some validate for 2 hours, some for 90 minutes to cushion the total cost of parking. I have always loved this area in downtown Sacramento.

Calm, casual shopping is more my thing and this is the place to get away from the crowds of pushy people with uncontrollable children and teenagers. While you won't find discount department stores here, they make up for it with specialty merchandise that you may not find anywhere else. The shops are neat and clean, with pleasant atmospheres. Employees are friendly, polite and acknowledging when we enter the door. While I have to admit that as I grow older and on a fixed income, shopping in general is losing it's luster, this place lights a romantic spark as to what classy shopping is all about!

Exiting onto Pleasant Grove Blvd to get into the left turn lanes to Fiddyment Rd can be tricky & requires luck or patience to get an opening. Best to exit by the McDonald's to have more space.

With West Roseville community growing at a very rapid speed and with all the new homes being built we are overdue! Since our move to Roseville in 2001 we've had to drive 1.5 miles to the closest grocery store and 2.3 miles for the nearest gas station. This shopping center in the West Roseville Marketplace has a Safeway with both a grocery store and a gas station and is less than 0.5 miles away so suh-weet! but I'm still waiting for the donut shop to open. The only issue I have is getting out of the parking lot. Too many cars coming from Pleasant Grove if exiting out from McDonald's (right turn only) especially during busy commute times. Fiddyment Road and Pleasant Grove Blvd have became racetracks. Roseville is just too congested but it's nice to have these businesses nearby. Review #3973
