If you need help with your RV, you are lucky to have found this company. Our electricity went out in our Rv on a hot day at the river. We called, talked to Jack (the owner and technician) and within two hours, he was at our campsite. The problem was found and fixed, and we were back in action. The funny thing is, we could tell that he really enjoyed the challange! he found a needle in a haystack and fix the problem! If he is in your area when you need help, consider yourself very blessed. we were leaving our very rural camp spot when our slide refused to go in - it actually tried and got stuck at a big angle. This was 220 miles from our home. we called several mobile techs and Jack from are vee in a fix was the only one to call us back. we made an appointment for 2 days later. Jack stayed in touch with us via text and was actually early to our appointment. all we were after was to get the slide in so we could GET IT HOME! turns out the slide controller was shot, so Jack did some kind of McGyver trick with a small cordless battery and some wires and by passed the controller and got the slide to go in. read more

Jack, the owner of Are Vee in a Fix, made a total of three service calls to work on the furnace of my RV during the week of January 5, 2026. During the first, he stated that the furnace needed to be cleaned but said that he could not complete the work because he had no shop vacuum on that day. He arrived for the second visit and cleaned the furnace, which worked when I tested it. However, it failed to start that night. Now, I'm old fashioned, and I believe that once you start a job you should finish it properly, so I gave Jack that opportunity. He returned and announced that the furnace needed a new board. So, I paid for a new one and paid another service charge. On the third visit, he claimed that the furnace was just a "piece of sh*t" and, for that reason, he could not fix it. Then he left, running back to his SUV and speeding away--with all the money I had paid him. *Although this business is registered in Washington, it operates in Parker, Arizona. This situation took place at the La Paz County RV Park. I have notified staff that this is a dishonest business owner, and park users should steer clear. He deserves negative stars. read more

We called Jack to come to our campsite to repair a leak under our sink. We sent him photos of the plumbing so that he could arrive with the parts he would need to repair. He arrived without any parts, looked at the plumbing, and said he needed to drive 40 minutes to the store in Parker to buy parts, and then return. 90 minutes later, he returned with the parts, and repaired the plumbing leak, but not a very good job, as the pipes were not aligned correctly after he finished. He charged us $175 and hour for two hours ($350), which included his trip to the store. He bought installation parts as well, such as glue, primer, a saw, ect. He charged us for the parts, and then kept them! The glue, primer, saw, and the other parts should have left with us! He also should have arrived with the parts in hand, as we sent very clear photos to him. Then he wanted to charge us tax, until I told him Arizona has no tax on services. My advice to you...avoid him!! read more

Do not do business with this guy. He is rude and demands his money up front. His ad says he is open 24 hours which is not true. He does not respond ro your calls and texts you in an unlimited cell area. If you say something to him he yells at you and slams rhe phone down. He sent me a text telling me that he would be at my place at 9 and if I was not t h ere he would leave the part and leave. I paid him 150 for labor. It did not matter to him. He is fat, rude and not a business type. 150 dollars and hour for a 30 minute job is a bit much. These guys do not accept credit cards because thet do not report there income. He wanted me to put a pizza slice in the description because he does not want to pay taxes on his work. These people are insane for charging 150 an hour and definately not worth the money. They take advantage of women and people who have an rv. Forget him. read more

Jack repaired our fresh water tank. I had three attempted repairs and the tank continued to leak. Jack did an amazing job of welding the plastic in the bottom of the tank, problem solved. He did it quickly, quality craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Jack for any RV repair. read more

This review is 100% true. this guy was the biggest joke of a mechanic. He doesn't really know what he is doing. I called him out for a non working tail light at a camp site. he comes out and takes the tail light off puts it back on and says it's the cord from the RV to the SUV. then said it's $500 charge for drive time and to look at the RV. I said huh. I said I'm not paying $500 for a diagnosis "that was incorrect, it was a fuse" the idiot didn't even check the fuses. I gave him $200 just to get the slob off my campsite. he started yelling and screaming I was a crook in front of the entire area. if you want an idiot to take your money for nothing this is the guy to call. read more

BEWARE!: We called and got his rates ($125 an hour including drive time, which we accepted). I reminded him by text of the appointment at his request (because he "had a lot going on") and texted 3 times asking what time he'd arrive. He finally called and said he could come now. Great! He showed up, used a volt meter to determine our control board was bad, and ordered a new one for us whole we waited (20 minutes total). He charged 3 hours ($375) labor for the drive, the work and then $167.87 for the new part. We told him thanks and that we were leaving in a week and would.prhbably just swap it out ourselves, and even pick it up if needed. I texted and found out he had it in, so offered to come drive to pick it up. THE DRIVE TO THE ADDRESS HE CHARGED US WAS 45 MINUTES. That means 90 minutes round trip, plus 30 minutes of work should have been 2 hours charged. I arrived and he said "ohhh" as he recognized me, and I said "you thought I was someone else, didn't you?" He left my board hours away even though he texted me he had it sitting on his front seat. He quickly said "I'm not paying to overnight it, that's expensive!" I stayed calm and we worked out him shipping it to a stop of our two weeks later. We got it, I swapped it, it works. I asked after that for a refund of an hour for his mistake. What followed was 10 minutes of texting where he said he shipped us the part at no extra charge (really!) and that none of the situation was his fault. My hot water tank went out so I bought a new one and put it in, it worked for 2 days then quit. So I called and had him come out and he fixed it, then left. It quit working again so I called him and he came back free of charge and fixed it. Very nice guy. Thanks read more

After calling for multiple days with no answer and a full mailbox I thought the business might be closed. I called one more time and got a hold of Jack who said he had an appointment Saturday but could see me after that. I said that worked great and I would send him details of the job and more specific directions. When trying to confirm the day before he spent 15 min texting me back and forth confusing me about his appointment on that day acting like he was on his way. Saturday morning at about 930 ( with no communication that he was arriving) he texts me saying that he had gotten lost and damaged his truck. Firstly he made no phone call confirming he would be coming that early or to clarify the directions, I specifically stated if they were confusing I would meet him at the bottom of the hill. then this guy just says " I' cant help you don't call me again" when I was just trying to figure out what was going on. Terrible communication and terrible business practices. left me with no hot water and no heat in the 5th wheel. What a gentleman. read more
