We stayed here at least 4 times so far. Note to my future self, only stay in the river/pond front…read moresites like 140s. It's literally across from the fishing area, picnic area, farthest from the traffic and road noise. The water has a fountain and ongoing movement of water, perhaps that's why it seems more natural looking vs stagnant and gross. Most of this area and the opposite side of the river is undeveloped so it has a nature feel that most campsites I've been to don't give. And I've been to lots of them. My Hubby and sons caught like 7, 8, and 20 fish they said. All catch and release. Tons of catfish & bass. Some are so huge. Keep staring at the water near the small metal dock there and you might see them all. We are in site 122. The road noise woke me up at 6am, so I put in my earplugs and slept until 9am. For my future self, make sure to keep a permanent earplug stash in the RV. Other times I've been in other sites and the noise wasn't an issue and we've stayed here at least 3-4x. It's not glamorous, it doesn't have a ton of extra like a pool, putting greens, pool table, snack bar, etc. But it does have a small, shaded kids play area, volleyball net, basketball hoop, shaded picnic tables. It's so country feeling and relaxing. Its quiet & thats what I prefer when I go camping. This is one of my favorite camping spots in the cooler months of early Spring like March. One day I'd like to come here & camp on my way to Yosemite or Kings Canyon. Great rates & highly suggest.

Dirty and sketchy park, majority of the sites are occupied by long term campers. Bathrooms were…read morefilthy. This is a glorified trailer park that should be avoided.

My wife and I recently became full timers and we stayed at Park of the Sierras looking for a place…read moreto visit our son. After staying for nine days we found out that you had to become an escapee's member and the cost was $49. To join for one year. The park refunded this in a free night credit. While staying here we met the park manager and took a tour after finding out they are a 55+ members park. After reviewing the park information and seeing what a beautiful park this was we decided to make this our home base. We travel to many places after retirement but found that we needed a place to hang out hat for Dr. appointments, and staying connected with our family in the Central Valley. We bought in and picked our site. The unique nature of living here is that the members here all volunteer to help keep cost down to run the park. This gave us a sense of ownership and community. We volunteer 3 days per week for approximately 4 hours per day and join in on special events to help set up or organize events that are for the members. It's not like having a job but more like going to hang out with folks that have the same interests. There is constantly an event going on weather you like to play cards, pool, dominoes, darts, working out , or outdoor activities like pickle ball or mini golf the fun is endless. This amazing place has beautiful views of the Sierra foothills and there's even a casino across the mountain. Becoming a member here has given us a place to call home in between our travels and our site remains ours when we're in the park. If you're thinking of becoming a full timer or if you're looking for a great place to glamp, this is the place!

Unlike our forest campsite, we had full hookups, internet and cell worked great at the park. My husband was concerned about the neighborhood but we had no problems. The manager was gracious and greeted us and wished us farewell. The pool was lovely and shaded much of the day which was great in the 109 temps. The showers and baths were very nice and commented on by all in the group. It was a bit of a drive into Sequoia park, but it's still very doable. About 2 hours to the main attractions. We had dinner at the Sequoia Brewing Company which we'd recommend- see review. While this wasn't our first choice, it was very nice and still allowed us to get into the park.

Over the year we had absolutely no issues with our personal belongings or management. They took care of the lawn, bushes and flowers very well. I will definitely miss calling this place home. They are also great with receiving mails and packages!

Suggest calling to book as the managers can recommend space based on your needs. We have a 28 Ft Class A and space 116 was perfect for our needs with full hookup including sewer. We didn't need a pull through as we unhooked our jeep during stay. Easy access for backing in and relatively level space. We were there during Firefall last week ( 4 nights ) and there were probably 6 to 10 others while there. I can see in summer that it may feel a little crowded as they are maximizing space to accommodate more guests. Bathrooms very clean and well set up for trash/ recycling etc. Hidden benefits were access to Cedar Lodge amenities with a small store for necessities, bar and restaurant, and a game room and indoor pool. Also, great if you are traveling with friends or family that want to stay in a nice lodge while you stay in the RV or camp. "Orlando" in the hotel registration is a great marketing asset for the compound as he is knowledgeable and very courteous, clearly wanting you to enjoy your stay. We camped at Indian Flat RV Park in a Motorhome.
