Great campground. Dog friendly. Management was cool. It is a very quiet place. It has plenty of showers. The campground is located 10 minutes away from the Yosemite National Park entrance. I highly recommend this campground.

    Cutest cottage ever .

Absolutely love this place! At first I didn't know what to expect for the price because it was really cheap compared to other places . But I loved the little cottage that my group and I stayed at . Will definitely go back to this place , I recommend it 100% also the staff is super friendly ! And it's not that far from Yosemite. Great prices , good location , and friendly staff can't go wrong with that!

I really loved this place. Very close to Yosemite, about 7 miles. The grounds and cabin I stayed at was very clean. The host, Keith, was very friendly and accommodating. I went in the winter, so there was only one other guest in the cabin next to me. The river across the street has a small area to explore. The wifi is slow and the connection is weak, at least in the Rock cabin. The cabin has two beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Quick tip, bring food with you as the one store (Chevron) is really expensive. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. The cabin also has heat and AC. There is also a tv with some cable channels. I like cozy eclectic placard and this one fits the bill.

across the street from the Campground, drive 5min down around other side for better places like this one where you can swim.

Years ago we camped here as thousands trail members and recently we once again became members so we can follow our son around because he joined. ;) camping with grand babies is a whole new level of fun for me. The RV spots by the river are the best however with the kids we stayed by the playground. Full hookups. The clubhouse was beautiful. It had all the clubhouse things- pool table, foosball, games, books and tons more. They had just hired a new program director so there were no activities for the kids this trip, but normally there are. The mini golf still closed from the winter. The trails not maintained, I climbed over many fallen trees. They put solar panels over a portion of the RV spots. It's pretty ugly. The loss of a star is because most thousand trail members have good size RVs and the spots do not reflect this. The park wasn't full for our visit and thankfully we didn't have immediate neighbors behind us, but had we it would have been squished. We saw a few people unable to get their rig in the spot they were given. Overall, it's a nice place.

Property manager is so corporate she cannot make a move without disappearing behind a computer. I am a hard worker who got ZERO positive feedback. I was told I wouldn't hear from management unless something was wrong. Training falls off a cliff after 2 days of sitting at a computer watching HR videos. I was training a newer than me person to close when I had never closed. Property manager is ineffective and unaware. It took 12 hours to secure a new job but I insisted on photos of my campsite! Huge difference. Mediocrity flourishes at TTYL

After staying for nine days we found out that you had to become an escapee's member and the cost was $49. To join for one year. The park refunded this in a free night credit. While staying here we met the park manager and took a tour after finding out they are a 55+ members park. After reviewing the park information and seeing what a beautiful park this was we decided to make this our home base. We travel to many places after retirement but found that we needed a place to hang out hat for Dr. appointments, and staying connected with our family in the Central Valley. We bought in and picked our site. The unique nature of living here is that the members here all volunteer to help keep cost down to run the park. This gave us a sense of ownership and community. We volunteer 3 days per week for approximately 4 hours per day and join in on special events to help set up or organize events that are for the members. It's not like having a job but more like going to hang out with folks that have the same interests. There is constantly an event going on weather you like to play cards, pool, dominoes, darts, working out , or outdoor activities like pickle ball or mini golf the fun is endless. This amazing place has beautiful views of the Sierra foothills and there's even a casino across the mountain. Becoming a member here has given us a place to call home in between our travels and our site remains ours when we're in the park. If you're thinking of becoming a full timer or if you're looking for a great place to glamp, this is the place!
