This place is amazing! Fabiano welcomed us with a tour and went over the different classes they offer. We took advantage of the first free sessions they offer. We ended up joining with a monthly membership and feel it is affordable as we are regular paycheck to paycheck people. This place is very clean and everyone is so friendly!!! It is a very different experience for me compared to other gyms or classes I have been in. It has been life changing for me to feel accepted and supported as I am in NO WAY an athlete or "in shape" person. I have felt nothing but support and kindness. It has been very positive for my 11yo son as well!!! Arena training center truly has a family vibe! You walk in and you are welcomed. Full disclosure.. I have a 5 star review from 2017 when my boys were wrestling here.. As that program ended and I've been absent from the facility for many years, this to me, warrants a full NEW review which I will be updating as I try out more of the amazing recovery and biohacking services. I just didn't want to wait until I tried everything to post a review of this hidden gem! Don't let the name distract you from all the amazing offerings. I tried the Vasper system last week which was SO awesome! I fell off a ladder a couple weeks prior and still baby'ing some soft tissue damage. The cooling system integrated with hi/low intervals really awakened my body again and alleviated some lingering pain. At the same time, as someone on permanent disability from chemicals and fighting lung function challenges, the versatility of this system from strictly rehab to the other end of full on cardiovascular and strength challenges for the most fit is super cool.. literally, as you cool while you work out or rehab.. I just don't know what else to say except come in and try it for whatever your need! -- sorry no photos this time, but will get some next time for you! And then today! I have to say I'm one of those that can't calm the mind.. so I do, and I teach, Pilates.. which is an amazing way to better your body and health by redirecting the mind to notice what your body is and can do.. it also involves a lot of breathing experiences... So, this Float Therapy had me thinking my mind would wander and what is the point? Well, I will tell you it's SO worth it.. Yes, as a crazy single mom also caring for a parent thought no way would I "float" for an hour... You WILL! Everyone will float.. once you float you kind of have to well, relax.. you have the choice for music and soft light, or one or the other, or just none.. I found out I was the "none".. I loved the calm, no lights and connection with my breathing and if I chose to move, I was so aware.. which was great with knee injuries too... mostly the sensation for my back after the ladder fall was amazing.. tonight I actually feel like my back is "all good"... My experience is MY experience and I was doing other self healing for my back, even chiropractic last week, but this was what I needed to get over my recovery hump... I can't wait to try everything at Arena Training and Recovery... I highly recommend as a fitness and Pilates professional, that you will be pleasantly surprised to find some amazing treatments here for rehab and recovery as well as what you would expect from kick butt workouts for both kids and adults with alternate classes for movement and strength. read more

I'd give this place a 10-star rating if I could. My son has been going here for several months and ABSOLUTELY loves it. Coach Fabiano makes this gym what it is. He is patient with kids of all ages. I've seen kids come in that act like little tornadoes and by their second class with Coach Fabiano they are so well behaved and attentive. About a month ago, I was finally fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and this was my first BJJ class since the pandemic. I had a wonderful time getting repeatedly beaten (in a safe way) by the 3-stripe white belt whom I thought I'd be able to handle. I was also very gassed because the only exercise I'd been doing during the pandemic was 20 minutes of made-up "parkour" on my backyard wall every 2 days. This training session was a good reminder of what a good fitness level is supposed to be like. The only caveat is they taught a Judo takedown in the BJJ class, which made me excited because I love Judo, but the sparring was still "rolling" instead of standup, which means we couldn't learn to apply that technique in a live situation. However, most BJJ schools don't regularly spar standing up, so this is to be expected. I ended up going with another MMA gym which was closer to where I lived (and have since restored my fitness/endurance to a more decent level), but this is definitely a great place to train. read more

My whole family trains at arena and we love it. It offers a full range of combat and fitness classes and is an Ares Brazilian jiu-jitsu affiliate. One fee per person gives you access to all the classes. My son and I do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the world class Ares BJJ instructors, my daughter does kids Taekwondo, my wife does the bootcamp classes. The trainers are great. the facility is clean. They offer a float tank and cryo tank as well. It is a great atmosphere with good classmates and training partners. I started out at Cyclone MMA doing the Cardio Combat classes as well as some personal training with the owner, Fabiano. It is nice because there are many different times that the class is offered every day - starting at 5 AM. This really accomodates my work schedule and gives me different options throughout the week. The variety and intensity of the cardio combat classes really makes you want to keep coming back for more, especially when you are seeing the results. Even though I have been doing the Cardio Combat classes for months, the workouts continue to be very challenging. I originally started personal training with Fabiano and Cyclone MMA to lose weight. After losing over 70 pounds, I am now more motivated than ever and am going to start incorporating some of the Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling classes into my workout schedule. The great thing about Cyclone is that there are different classes for different individuals/skill levels. I don't have any prior martial arts/wrestling experience, but now that I have lost some weight there are classes for me to learn. I HIGHLY recommend Cyclone MMA. read more

About two months ago my family started mentioning how great Cyclone was and how I should go try it out or at least stop by and speak with Fabiano. On a whim I dropped by after work and was able to speak with him about what his facilities offered. I enjoyed his enthusiasm when speaking about everything he and his staff offer and what stuck the most with me was when he said he only wants people at his gym who want to be there. So simple but it stuck with me. Before I signed up for anything he wanted me to join in on any of his classes that he offers when you become a member. My first day I participated in the 'Cardio Combat'. At the end of it I was exhausted, in a good way. During the class of approx 5 people Fabiano had us pushing ourselves hard for the full hour of the class. The entire time Fabiano was very motivating and like the poster before 'Josh' says Fabiano does tune your workout to your particular strengths and limits so everyone is safe. After a month of solid training 3 days a week of the Cardio Combat I feel great and am addicted. This past week I just started with the boxing classes that are offered and now I will be going to the gym 4-5days a week. Before too long I will probably be trying the Muay Thai as well since I have been hearing great things about that class. I thoroughly enjoy my time at Cyclone and talking to Fabiano. He is a great source of knowledge when it comes to being healthy, taking care of yourself and athletic training for just about anything. Don't get the 4 out of 5 starts wrong, I enjoy the place, but I'm not a big fan of giving out max ratings because no person, place or thing is perfect. With that said, Cyclone gym is a great place to workout and train and here's what I like about it: VARIETY AND INTENSITY - I was in the Marines for 6 1/2 ('03-'09) years and the training I received there and the training I'm receiving at Cyclone are on the same level when it comes to variety and intensity (not in that Marine DI way), yet they make sure you aren't pushing past your limits and give you plenty of time to recover between exercises and routines. ENGAGED STAFF - The staff are very friendly and approachable. They take the time to asses what your current level is in a given martial arts and will pretty much personalize your training to meet your needs. The fitness courses are great, they can be real gassers at times, but you can feel and see the benefits of them in a day or two. KID FRIENDLY - I don't have kids, but some of the staff do and there are times when I show up early for my sessions and I see the kids having fun in their training and it's always nice to see how much respect the kids have for their instructors. The only complaint I have would be the hours they are open for. If you start work at 8AM or 9AM then the early hours are great, but my schedule tends to lean to more free time in the evening and the gym closes at 9PM. I trained at gyms that stayed open later, but they didn't have as great of an environment as Cyclone does. I could keep going on about the place, but the only way for you to decide if this is the gym for you is to show up and try it out. -WTP read more

Monthly dues are reasonable, considering there's no where else can you train 7 days a week in various programs. Great family run business with quality teaching and ethics. This gym is a great place to get and/or stay in shape. With so many different unique workouts that they offer it is hard to get bored. Over the years I have tried their Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA and cardio classes. They have all taught me so much which improved my fitness and wellbeing. I recommend this place to everyone I know. Hidden in a warehouse, it boasts a huge mat and plenty of space to get a huge workout in. I went to cyclone when I lived in the area and it got me in the best shape of my life. I haven't found another place as clean and welcoming since. Fabiano and the other trainers know how to push you to your limits safely and help you get the best out of yourself. If I still lived in the area I would still be going there regularly. I have been going to Cyclone for just shy of three months and It has been a life changing experience. I have been doing the cardio class (which is just insane) and the wrestling training. I have dropped 20 lbs. and my endurance has gone through the roof. I look forward to going not only for the results but for a great time. The trainers are very friendly and hard core when it counts. I have never met a trainer that is more invested in his clients than Fabiano. The knowledge he provides is beyond amazing. The cardio classes that he teaches provides crazy results and instant satisfaction. His devotion to the people that attend provides the upmost motivation. A friend brought me in to try the Jiu Jitsu class, and I couldn't believe how much fun I had! Being overweight, out of shape, middle aged and disabled, I fully expected to be embarrassed and out of place... but everyone was so friendly and helpful, and despite huffing and puffing by the end of class, I had such a good time that I signed up before I left. When I came back the following week, they were just as encouraging and helpful! Marcel is great about helping me work around my disability, and Fabiano is so encouraging that I feel... competent... and even better, able. I have been coming to Cyclone for a month and have grown addicted to this place. I attend the cardio combat classes about 5 times a week, the classes are always challenging and different every day. Fabiano is very motivating, but is also in tune with every members strengths and limits to ensure a challenging but safe workout. My 4 year old son takes tae kwon do classes taught by Fabiano's daughter Tatiana who works extremely well with the kids. This place offers every sort of martial arts and is always growing. Most importantly is that it is like a community where every person is welcome and very family oriented. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more
