The owner whom I met while walking the block responded to my request for bid immediately and all follow up was quick, thorough, transparent and personal. He responded that very day. They communicated by text, email and phone and I could choose what worked best for me in any given exchange. It is so easy to get business done when a company uses all the tech available to them to reach their clients. I work full time and do not have the time to deal with any Mickey-Mouse operation who doesn't text or use other forms of communication, or takes forever to respond in 2024. 2. They are local, so I trusted them more. I was worried about shady contractors, so I liked that they had a local business address and staff who answer a phone, email paperwork etc. They also worked within what my insurance budget. Everything from the bid to the bill was above board, not shady! 3. The crew were the most hardworking I have ever seen. And, it was so hot that week! ‍They cleaned up after each session and were professional, polite and most of all very kind people. They kept their work contained in my yard and parked properly near my house in the street. They didn't encroach upon the neighbors' property. I received no calls or complaints. They kept all their equipment in order and they were not in our way. They parked their own dumpster to toss the old roof, and someone even came quietly after dark to retrieve it. There was no evidence of their trash, not a speck - impressive! 4. When it came time for me to pay, they offered to pick up the check personally because I was worried about mailing it. Original: I hired this company based on reviews and I am very disappointed that I did. I have had nothing but problems with them. No communication, weeks on end of getting the work done, told they would contact me but then just showed up finally to do it without any notice that they would be on my property. I had to use my video surveillance to see what day they showed up. Now they have double charged me for the work. I would not recommend them.

I have, in writing, an agreement for the soffit and fascia to be replaced as part of a gutter job H&H did on my property. Instead, the soffit and fascia was reused. When I asked about this, I was told it'd be an additional charge. Part of the work was to clean the gutters. The gutter build up was not fully cleaned up and much of the gutter build up ended up in the yard. Regarding quality, a gap was left between the fascia board and roof. The soffit and fascia is uneven and doesn't line up properly. From what I can tell, the gutters themselves look fine. If the scope of the work is limited to gutter replacement, you might not have any problems.

The shingles are not that old, but my roof had a bad sag in back (due to original bad construction) & a leaking spot in front. They fixed both big areas, plus they found a vent pipe that wasn't shingled around & fixed it, & even recaulked around my chimney while they were up there! That's true caring about your job! They did not leave a mess, either (I only found two nails on the ground afterwards, which was amazing, for all the work they did!) Price was reasonable for this job, too.

I got a postcard in the mail from this company and I'd seen their truck working on my street. I…read morerequested a quote and they came out to take a look with an online quote coming later. I had a few questions and asked for the name of the customer down the street so I could ask my neighbor about their experience. I never got that info. I also never got an updated quote despite my repeated requests. Their initial quote was amongst the least expensive but I was requesting more work be added and they never responded! I don't want to id the estimator by name, but I will say that I'm disappointed in their lack of response.
