My husband and I stopped in after a round of golf at Royal Isabela. The Isabela location was closed, so we decided to visit the Aguadilla location instead, and we're so glad we did! We ordered a few empanadas, their popular mango smoothie, a passion fruit smoothie, and another specialty drink. Everything was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. The service was phenomenal. The gentleman who greeted us was so kind and welcoming, and he took the time to help us decide what to order. The atmosphere feels like a cozy, quiet coffee shop with a relaxed vibe--there are about 5-6 tables inside, bar seating, and outdoor seating as well. One unique touch is that the entrance is through a surf shop, which also has some really cute surf gear if you feel like browsing. So good we had to come back two days in a row! My husband and I heard about this place from Texas and couldn't wait to try it out. It sure didn't disappoint. Not only were the owner and all the staff incredibly friendly, but the food was fresh and delicious as well! My husband tried three different meat filled arepas and I tried two of the vegetarian ones and we got sweet potato fries both times. The meat arepas are stuffed with fillings and incredible while the vegetarian ones are overflowing and delightfully flavorful as well. The sweet potato fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Don't skip on the house green sauce either, it's something I'll be trying to recreate for sure. If you're near Aguadilla I definitely suggest trying Arepas from this sweet little spot! read more

Delocious! Stopped here several times while on vacation in Aguadilla/Isabela in early February. I had never tried arepas, or any Venezuelan food, before but as I've liked most all Latin foods I've tried, I decided to give it a shot... and I'm glad I did! Arepas are a flat bread about the size of an English muffin and these are stuffed with various fillings. My favorites were La Canosa (beef with shredded white cheese) and La Reina Pepida (chicken with avocado mayo).
