As a working mom with an infant, I reached out to Grace Home Cleaning for some cleaning assistance…read more I have a 3bed, 3bath (3/4, 1/2, and a powder room) 1900sq foot home, but I let them know my priorities were cleaning the bathrooms and the baseboards in the bedrooms and main living areas. I ended up choosing the 3.5 hour clean so make sure these priorities could be taken care of with hopes that maybe one or two other tasks from a prioritized list could be done in that time period. After Monday's cleaning, I will say that the bathrooms look very nice, but that seems to be the only thing that got done. I'm not sure how that would have taken the entire 3.5 hours, as two of the bathrooms are seldom used, very small, and mostly already clean. She noted that she dusted the drop zone (a small bench) which is nice, but it was not an area of the house on our list to be cleaned. I was upset that I essentially paid $200 to have my bathrooms cleaned, so I left that feedback to the company. I will say I was very impressed with the quick, kind response and offer to have the cleaner come back for 2.5 hours the next day. During that 2.5 hours session, she noted that she touched up the bathrooms she had previously cleaned, cleaned the baseboards upstairs in the bedrooms and vacuumed, and cleaned the baseboards in the hallway/stairs to our kitchen. Do these areas look great? Yes! But I'm at a loss at how, in six hours of cleaning, the majority of my kitchen and the entirety of the living room were untouched. We have been debating hiring a cleaner for a monthly or quarterly cleaning, but we will not be continuing with Grace Home Cleaning.

In my original review, I mentioned the hotel-style folded towels, which is such a nice touch. I should've also mentioned the occasional toilet paper folding designs. A reflection of their skill and attention to detail, it's SO LOVELY. We stay out of their way when they work and that initial walk through the house after they're gone produces the best feeling. Their help keeping the house in order relieves so much stress. We're always so impressed how perfect the house looks and smells. My in-laws, sister, best friend, neighbor, neighbor's adult children, and a coworker all use Mendez and sing their praises at any mention of the team or when anyone is looking for a referral. We're preparing to move out of state & I know it's going to be a challenge, if not impossible, to find a service that checks all the boxes of the Mendez team - quality, efficiency, kindness, pricing, reliability. They've set a high bar. I know there have been times where they couldn't accept new clients but, with our move, they will have some availability so get on the schedule while you can!

We did a deep clean and every thing was great! The refrigerator was cleaner than we received it and we are so satisfied with the attention to detail she has done throughout the clean. Our appointment was from 1:30 PM with 2 cleaners (Blanca & Angelica) for a 4 bedroom & 2 full bathroom home. Refer to the deep cleaning checklist. Upon arrival and checking things out, after Blanca has left, I noticed a few drawers still dirty and untouched. I did contact Blanca's Cleaning for assistance & they came the next day at 0800 AM to ensure each drawer was cleaned to my standards! Mind you, everything was fully empty and ready for the next tenants to move in. Otherwise dispite this hiccup, she made sure that we were fully satisfied with the clean prior to moving! I have absolutely no complaints and Blanca's cleaning was super reliable, especially for the price I paid! She does not have any reviews & I wanted to be sure that she had the opportunity to reach more customers for her amazing service she has done for my family & I during our moving out process. DO NOT HIRE -- every host's nightmare…read more I hired Jessica through Turno to manage turnovers for our Airbnb/VRBO property. On the day of a same-day guest arrival, she marked our turnover as completed even though the property had not been cleaned at all. I only discovered there was a problem because I contacted her about a separate task that needed to be handled at the property that day. She then told me she had sent an employee to complete the cleaning. This was the first time I was informed that anyone other than the cleaner I hired would be entering our home. We had never been asked to authorize, nor had we authorized, anyone else to access the property. Shortly afterward, she contacted me again and admitted that after speaking with her employee (Marissa), she discovered that person had never gone to the property or cleaned it. In other words, the turnover had been marked complete without her verifying that anyone had actually been there. She apologized, accepted responsibility, and told me she was personally heading to the property to complete the cleaning. She knew we had guests checking in that same day. I repeatedly attempted to confirm that the property was being cleaned, but she stopped responding entirely. She never completed the cleaning. We were left scrambling to find another cleaner on an emergency basis before our guests arrived and had to pay again for a turnover we had already paid her to perform. I have no inherent issue with a cleaning company having employees or subcontractors. I do have an issue with an unknown person being given access to our home without our prior knowledge or authorization. More importantly, I have an issue with a cleaning being marked complete when no one had even gone to the property, followed by the cleaner becoming unreachable after promising to correct the situation during a same-day turnover. As an out-of-state host, I have to be able to trust that the person responsible for our property knows who is entering it, verifies that the work was actually performed, and can be reached when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated that I could not rely on any of those things. I cannot recommend this business to other property owners or short-term rental hosts.

I then ran some errands and came back two hours later thinking she'd be just about done. I walk in and barely anything had been done. She was cleaning out the tub, apparently, but I couldn't even smell the cleaning products (which usually you can, especially in a space that small). I asked her if she thought she'd be done soon, and she said she was just getting started. I then paid her for the two hours and said to text me when she was done and we could square up later. Maybe like the previous poster, I was too trusting. I didn't receive a text so the next afternoon I text her. She said she was at my apartment cleaning until 4 in the morning. Seven hours of cleaning for a 500 sf apartment? So later that day I had a walkthrough with my landlord and it was the first time seeing the place after Jan cleaned. Yes, the fridge and oven were cleaned and the toilet was mostly cleaned, but the shelves weren't, and there was a layer of something grimy on the hardwood floors. It looked like someone spent an hour and a half, maybe two hours cleaning - definitely not the seven hours she said she did. Even my previous landlord during the walkthrough said I had been ripped off and asked me for her name so she could be sure to stay away. Anyway, I called her and told her I wasn't happy and she said she'd meet me at the place that weekend so I can show her what areas needed to be recleaned. Well, that day she was at another house and was over an hour late in heading in my direction. I waited until I couldn't anymore and then called her and said to forget about the reclean, I couldn't wait. I said I'd be willing to pay for another hour or so more than what I had previously paid, but not the seven additional hours she said she cleaned. She told me to keep the money. I definitely would recommend looking elsewhere for cleaning services
