I NEVER complained about neuropathy because I only experienced pain. However, when I got a copy of my medical records, he stated that I had neuropathy. Unfortunately, we moved forward with carpal tunnel surgery and although the pain went away, for the first time I began experiencing neuropathy, only minutes after the surgery was performed. It has now been over a year and I still have no feeling in my thumb, index and part of my middle finger. I went elsewhere for help where they performed an EMG and found that I had nerve damage. Stay away from Dr. Muppavarapu - he makes false statements in your medical records and will botch the surgery!

I needed a referral close to home to get my back examined. My doctor found Orthopaedic Specialists and suggested I call them since they are the closest. When I called the first time to book an appointment, the receptionist was extremely unprofessional when she spoke to me. Before I could even book a time for the appointment the receptionist puts me on hold for over 10 minutes and never clicked back over so I was forced to hang up since I was still at work. No one ever called me back so I had to reach back out a few days later to book my much needed appointment. I provided them with my insurance and asked for an estimate of my out of pocket fee for xrays. I was informed between $30-$50, and I was fine with that as I was in excruciating pain and needed to get checked out. Fast forward to the actual appointment. The doctor was nice and very professional, the other staff were "ok". A few weeks after my appointment I received a bill in the mail for over $200. This amount was unexpected because this is not what I was quoted upon scheduling my initial appointment. From here it continues to get worse and worse. This place has been bombarding me numerous times throughout the day with calls from different numbers, daily text messages, letters in the mail, and multiple emails regarding a past due balance that I don't even know what it's for. I'm pretty sure there are some laws that prohibit this type of harassment and I intend to look into this myself because I've never had to deal with this ever before EVER. Today I'm receiving threatening text messages on a Saturday about being placed in collections. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again and urge anyone considering going here to look elsewhere. I will be finding somewhere else for treatment as I find their business tactics desperate and repulsive.

A month after my initial visit, I had rotator cuff surgery and although it has only been two weeks since, I am surprised at how much mobility I have. Granted the healing process will require a lot of patience, I am confident that I will eventually be back to normal. Just think that I need not of spent a year with a deteriorating condition had I found Dr. Gill sooner. But, I found him. I've been seen by Physical Therapist Amanda and her assistant Cam the entire time. Amanda does an amazing job of compassionate listening, analyzing and then addressing my pain. My situation is complicated and I've watched Amanda "peel the onion" of my issues. I could not be happier with the personalized service I've received. For those considering PT I suggest having a consistent schedule and scheduling ahead to get the same person as well as knowing that "you" will need to do your part through daily strengthening as assigned.

I have been to the Norwood Location and Norfolk depending on the issue and always been very satisfied. The front desk staff are always all smiles and do great with the booking and the staff that tends you is always so very kind, professional and caring. This Business always seems to hire the more experience and talented people. If you need help with getting well or just getting rid of the aches and pains, you should try this place of business. Very attentive to your needs. My surgeon was very impressed with the progress I have made with this facility. J.P. is a great therapist and a pleasure to work with. My sister was transferred here by a Case Manager at Beth Israel Deaconess in Needham. She did not…read moreallow for my sister to make an informed decision about her discharge placement violating her patient rights so, she ended up at Ellis. Upon entering she noticed what appeared to be possibly black mold on ceiling. When I asked staff via phone about it they said they could not see it (see pics attached)- They gave her another room. Hair stuck to wall in shower, a white medium size canister labeled "mouse Trap" in shower, wallpaper falling off and stained underneath, water stains on ceiling, Bathroom commode with rust and whatever else was on it. When my other sister pointed these out to administrator, he said he was not aware. Safety checks and environmental checks are a part of any healthcare facility. It is his job to know. Then the maintenance man came out to glue the wall paper back on the wall. My sister was transferred there post-op for physical therapy. It is a major health concern and risk of infection to be admitted there. I am appalled that Dept. of Public Health Licenses them. There is no way they would have passed an inspection. Filthy, unfit, risk of infection facility. I am sad that some people do not have anyone to advocate for them. NOTE:If your loved one is leaving a hospital, ask the case manager and/or discharge planner for a list of places that are covered by their insurance so you can at least research if they are a good place for your loved one.
