We contacted ARG to perform some work on our home, including drywall, concrete and some other things. They fixed a door that we were told by others would never latch or lock correctly. We have used ARG for multiple jobs both inside and outside of our home. Albert did an excellent job tiling and painting our bathroom. He also installed our new toilet, did some plumbing and custom made our beautiful bathroom vanity. After we saw the quality of his work, we had him refinish our basement family room including fabrication and installation of custom cabinets, hanging our TV on the wall and put down new hardwood floors. We have also had his company do a bunch of beautiful landscaping. In addition, we had him build a tool shed, paint and repair broken windows. I can say the quality of the work in excellent. They are always on time and very clean and conscientious in all phases of the work. Albert is very reasonable and will take the time to explain what is involved when he quotes the job. My experience with this company was very disappointing. I had them paint my deck and my fence. The day they painted my deck, I realized once they left that my hot tub cover had paint on it. I texted the owner Al to inform him of this and he told me not to worry he will get it off as he was coming back the following day to paint my fence. Well the following day he did attempt to get the paint off the hot tub cover but was not successful. Whatever he used made it worse and now there were shiny spots and faded spots on the cover where he tried to remove the paint. There was still paint all over my cover as well. This was a brand new cover that I had just bought 4 months prior. Not to mention there was paint all over my pavers. I texted him and made him aware of this. I did not receive a response from him until 3 days later. In his response, he stated he would not charge me for the painting of the fence and the balance for putting in a new screen in my sliding door. His words verbatim were" Also if you would like to replace your cover I will send you out a check for any remaining balance left for the cost of a new cover". He also stated that he didn't realize that his overspray would travel that far and that he didn't take the proper precautions to cover up the hot tub. He stated it was completely on him and that he stands behind his work. That was June 29th. The following day I sent him the invoice as proof of what I paid for the cover. A week past and I heard nothing from him so I reached out to him again on the 6th then again on the 9th as I received no response. He finally responded with an attitude. He stated in his text that he told me he accepted responsibility and that he would pay for the cover and that there is a check in the mail for me. I received no check. I reached out one last time on august 10th....no response. Well today is August 15th and I have yet to receive compensation for my damaged hot tub cover. This company has no integrity. The owner Al will tell you something and does not stand behind his word. I am big on integrity and really don't like putting people on blast, but as a business owner I believe it is important to be integral, stand behind your work and customer satisfaction. He did not stand behind his work as he stated he would. This is not good business ethic!!!! read more
